This One Flaw EXPOSES The Problems With Visible Phone Service!

- I've discovered a MAJOR flaw with Visible Wireless Phone Service! Visible Mobile has GOT to get it together with their customer care teams! I've been a LOYAL Visible Wireless customer who's service has been disconnected BY THEM with no fault of my own. Visible by Verizon maintains their "no phone number available" business strategy and that is leading to major problems when it comes to customer loyalty! In this review, I will be giving my story about both the pros and cons of if Visible and Visible + is still worth it so you can pick the right plan for you!

Not only is there no number to call, but you are chatting with poorly trained people in Bangladesh who speak English as a second language. Language barriers make it extremely difficult to resolve complex problems. Additionally, most chat customer service has representatives who chat with many customers simultaneously so they lose track of your issue. You end up having to say the same thing over and over and over again
Absolutely agree!
2nd language????
An FCC complaint usually gets high level executives to call you in my experience. The FCC would definitely be concerned with a phone company wrongly terminating phone service whether they refunded or not.
Great idea! I'll look into this
visible is a sign that competition works otherwise you would still need to pay $90 for version network connectivity. T-moble scares them, verizon used to be the coverage monopoly, but since the bandwidth auctions won't let them monopolize it anymore they aren't the coverage king anymore.
I used to work for a marketing research firm in 2006 as a phone operator. They moved their business to Costa Rica so they wouldn't have to pay higher wagers in the US. That is why it is so hard to try to understand the person on the other side of the phone.
The call center I work at used to work with Verizon Wireless in sales chat and in Visible customer service. Verizon pulled their contracts for all US outsourced call centers to India. We still have a small team in the United States for visible in the US but I’m not sure if we will ever have more since Verizon is favoring outsourcing to other countries to save a buck.
Wow! It's sad really but for them it's all about the $$$
want is the new data cap
You know this is how all companies work right they outsource their technical support to another country
Not all of them, but a good majority of them do for sure! There are still a "small" handful of companies that still use real people in United States to handle their call centers. I am looking very closely into a few companies and will be making videos about them soon. Stay tuned!!
What kind of adhesive did you use to mount those acoustic deadening panels? Do they help at all with their intended purpose? How thick are they? I have some that look just like those that I haven't mounted yet. Thanks.
I tried a 7 or 10 day trial with visible via eSim, and my 55+ T-Mobile SD had better coverage and faster speeds. I was kind of surprised since some of my testing was in rural areas.
Thanks for sharing your experience, it seems that "Verizon" needs to step up their game as more and more companies are using them to advertise their "own" service and it's jamming up the network in certain lower network capacity areas that can't handle the extra traffic.
Don't....
I went from Verizon to Visible to Straight Talk to US Mobile back to Verizon prepaid then tried total by Verizon. (All of them on Verizon's network)
Verizon used to be worth the extra money. In 2024.,.ITS NOT
Basically Verizon's network is BROKEN and is no longer worth the premium and no longer worth well basically anything...in 2024 it is the new Sprint.
Here's why:
Verizon stopped buying spectrum for a while while others kept improving their spectrum portfolio
Verizon's dominance came from its dominant spectrum portfolio. When Verizon came together in 2000, they had way more low-band spectrum than anyone else. This meant way better coverage. They bought Alltel which further cemented their coverage dominance. In 2008, they bought 22MHz of 700MHz in all markets in the US (sometimes more) while AT&T only got 12MHz in most markets and didn't buy anything in a ton of places. This meant that Verizon could roll out LTE with great coverage and capacity faster than anyone else. They made a deal with the cable companies to get their AWS spectrum which further enhanced their LTE capacity. Verizon simply had way more spectrum than their competitors and higher capacity.
Then they started to slow their spectrum purchases. In 2014, they sold their 700MHz A-Block spectrum to T-Mobile. That was a monumentally stupid decision in hindsight as T-Mobile would have remained a tiny carrier without that purchase. That deal gave T-Mobile the foundation to become the competitor it is today. In 2015, they let AT&T take the lead in the AWS-3 auction. In. 2017, they let AT&T get the FirstNet contract (and the 20MHz of new spectrum that came with it). In 2017, they ignored the 600MHz auction.
Get to 2019 and AT&T has 55% more spectrum than Verizon and T-Mobile had closed the gap to 4% - Verizon had more than double T-Mobile's spectrum back in 2012 and they became tied! Get to 2020 and T-Mobile has bought Sprint and now has a huge spectrum lead over Verizon. Verizon's network is getting crowded as people use lots more data and they don't have new spectrum to give them more capacity. AT&T has a lot of new spectrum to handle increasing consumer demands. T-Mobile is rolling out their mid-band 5G offering incredible speeds and taking a lot of pressure off their low-band network. Verizon is in a bad position.
Verizon saw the trouble they were in. They went big in the C-Band auction and paid to clear a lot of spectrum early. However, C-Band doesn't have great coverage and they still aren't in an amazing place today. Below 2.5GHz, AT&T has 55% more spectrum and T-Mobile has 30% more - and both have fewer customers using it. T-Mobile's mid-band network is a lot more extensive and taking a lot more traffic off their legacy network.
Verizon's dominance really came from its dominant spectrum position. As that lead evaporated, Verizon regressed to average and then sub-par. Over the next 5 years, Verizon should get better given their C-Band purchase, but they'll never be dominant like they used to be. T-Mobile will likely be in a slightly better spectrum position for the next decade. AT&T will have a much better spectrum position for rural areas. The next couple years will probably be tough for Verizon since. If you're in an area with good C-Band coverage, Verizon will probably get pretty good. If you're not, Verizon will likely struggle compared to the other two. Verizon is in a rebuilding phase. They let AT&T and T-Mobile eclipse their spectrum holdings and they're trying to get back on track. Verizon's dominance waned over 5-7 years and it'll be 5-7 years for them to get back on track - but they'll never get back to a dominant position. They might get back to being 5 or 10% better than others, but things are going to be pretty competitive going forward.
Basically weak signal
Thank you very much. Great and informative.
Thanks for the video. I was going to switch my primary lines to visible but after seeing this I WILL NOT be switching. I don't have the time or patience to go through what you did.
You're very welcome, i'll be dropping my updated Visible review video this coming week so stay tuned for further insight
Good video dude!
I was thinking of going Visible...but after this...no way Jose! What a nite- mare! Have you tried US Mobile? Thanks for your story update!
They really need to get a 800 number that you can call them on. I would not sign up with them since they don't have a number.
This happened to me too! All of it! voicemail, hotspot, etc. I couldn't receive calls, but I could make them. Then they also disconnected my account. Now, after porting out to another company, they are claiming that my port out request was invalid and are disputing it with my new carrier.
I'm sorry you also experienced this, but I guess it's good to know it's not just me.
I had heard of a few others as well unfortunately
wow man thats wild. they need to upgrade their call forwarding too.
I just switched 2 days ago to Visible and had no service at all until getting on chat again for a few hours. Any future issues and I will leave very quickly! Wish I saw this video before I switched to deter my decision. (I even did a search but sadly it didn’t come up.)
Hi Sherri, looks like you found the video. Hopefully Visible goes well for you, if not; I have other carriers on the channel for you to check out to see if they would fit your needs better.
I got a email with the new terms and conditions said that they would cut off data if you over use it right now Ive used 200g and it is messing up and can't use as home intet
Very interesting...
I was on a call with visible they called me because I was having technical issues with the set up. Thank you for your review I was on the fence to join.
How did you get them to call you?
How do you get in touch with visible? I can can not get in touch with anyone at all?
No physical phone number is a real problem for sure
I joined same time u posted this & since then I haven’t been able to get issue(s) resolved from any support of any kind that knows wtf is going on! Hrs upon hrs in chat supplying same info ova/ova/ova…. I’m 3mos pd & still waitng for my number to xsfer to visible!!!
I don’t know how much longer I can wait b4 kissing visible goodbye.
At least I still have my old acct/number (T-Mobile)!
After 2 years and 2 accounts I went through the chat frustrations. After the third month. 2 weeks of no service after I switch to esim. Reimbursed me switched back to sim. After the switch reminded me of the monthly ordeals with sprint back in 2003. Service been nothing but great traveling with service t mobile could not give. Not one issue since. Went through some bumps but I am still rolling while saving until the customer service gets better along with the higher price tag lol. With u.s mobile as my fall back I will ride through a few storms.just as I had with tsmobile. But at much higher costs. Every carrier has had upset customers that lead to choosing a different carrier. I don't feel robbed this time around. 50 bucks a month 2 lines when issues arose then and will eventually in time. Its Inevitable. When you had enough move on or ride it out. Choice is always yours.
Thank you Eddie for this video, I was thinking about going with visible! But because I’m blind, I can’t have that bad stuff that happened to you, happened to me! So I guess I’ll stick with cricket wireless, at least I can take it to the store, and the people can help me over there! Sorry for what happened to you!
You're very welcome and thank you! Cricket Wireless is absolutely still a solid choice!!
I have Verizon and while you can call and talk to customer service they have outsourced some of it to overseas. The people I talked with seemed to be unknowledgeable about how to correct problems. It took 10 calls and 6 1/2 months to resolve. Sounds like visible being part of verizon is going down the same path. I'm leaving Verizon and looking for alternate providers; doesn't sound like visible will be on the list.
Definitely frustrating for sure! I am currently on the hunt for some good alternatives to share with the community. Stay tuned!!
Yeah well where do you think you're going to go? They're all outsourcing, where are you going to get US or English speaking tech support. I've noticed this trend as well where AT and T and VZW used to be great support, but not any more. May as well save a buck. I like and have been with VZW for years because the service is always top notch and I'm willing to pay for the best service, let's just be honest.
@@CodyHurstOfficial Verizon has terrible customer support, their service is certainly not top notch like you post
So glad I saw this video because I almost put my business line over there. Not a chance in hell now. Thanks buddy
I think it’s okay, but you’re right. If there is a big issue, there is no one to call.
This is why I stay with Verizon. I’ve been with them since 2009 without any major issues. Yes it’s more expensive but I’m a truck driver and need the service to work. These MCNO’s are cheap for a reason.
Reliability is everything!
Visible is fully owned/created by Verizon right from scratch right from the ground up since year of 2018.
I've been with AT and T, Straight Talk and VZW. VZW wins always hands down. Best service and it always works.
@bogger44fl they’re owned by Verizon so that’s what’s crazy!
idk if they need a cell number, as long as they deal with it within 12-48 hours [depending on what it was] and contact back, its fine
ive heard their backend has been iffy, for example the "incompatible" phones which isnt necessarily their fault from what ive seen. but decently newer phones have worked for many users ive seen on reddit and their forum, including me [pixel 5a]
Hey @34959, honestly.. I get why they don't have a phone number to call (they do it to help keep the prices low) but in my certain circumstance, it really would have been nice to actually be able to talk to someone over the phone and get an answer because I still have no idea what went wrong; and that is very unsettling to me.
I had Visible and had a issue where my phone said no Sim card. It took Visible a month to get it resolved and I had no service the whole time. Needless to say I git rid of them. I had another issue before that,it was on Visibles end and i didn't have service for 3 days. How can a company stay in business with this type of service? I'll never go back
Absolutely frustrating!
Yes it is I went to US Mobile and have had a few issues but every time it was fixed right away. Their customer service is just the opposite from Visible
I have had visible tech call me just a week ago. It didn't help as the person still couldn't understand me.
Update Visible called me this morning to see if the sim that was sent was work ok! Shocking
At Last!!! Someone else experiencing tech support issues/problems as I.
i love them saving so much money
They are definitely good in that regard
if u no longer have visible how can u review them any longer?
I am so done with that company. Stay away from anything Verizon related.
I suspect another company is set up the same. way. No matter how clearly the problem was stated, the responses all seem to be cut and paste and not directly answering the question. It cost all kinds of money to run a call center that's why so much of it is overseas. And they have all your personal information in a country that's notorious for scams.
Very good point!
Verizon bought the company that owns Visible and other prepaid providers. Are you surprised that service has went down. Visible is a Loss leader that the poorer the service the more Verizon makes as customers switch to full service. This is direct from my Nephew who is a high level manager with Verizon.
I was just surprised to see that for an active service "that I already paid for" had disconnected me (without notice) and then wanted payment to get "reconnected"... Like who does that?
Visible. Lol
You have it all the way wrong. Visible was not owned by no other company except for Verizon. Visible is a Verizon owned company that was created from the ground up from scratch by Verizon since year of 2018. You mean Verizon bought a company that happens to own other prepaid brands? The company that Verizon bought out was Tracefone that happens to also own: Straight Talk, Total by Verizon, Simple Mobile, Net10 and Tracfone.
I was with Verizon for 12 years and had endless issues been with tmobile since January of this year and zero problems, sorry ur going through this
That's because visible is owned by Verizon now
Wrong, they were already owned by Verizon way before acquiring Tracfone. Visible is fully owned/created by Verizon from the ground up from scratch since year of 2018. You may want to do your homework on that.
Cheap way ain't always the best
The customer service is abysmal - avoid this company - find one with a real CS phone number
It's part of Verizon now that's why it sucks
Why did my comment disappeared?
Who do you use for your cell service now?
For the time being I use Spectrum Mobile because they are giving me 1 FREE line for a year: ua-cam.com/video/3WLS96Puang/v-deo.html
@@EB3Studios Sounds good to me 👍🏼💪💯.
How frustrating!
For sure!
You get what you pay for
True, although for a service that was already paid for shouldn't have been disconnected
Anyone wanna bless me with a referral code? cuz idk if this mans code works or not :p

Visible is a dumpster fire. I used them with issues for a year. If you don't need unlimited which most people don't try US Mobile. Quality service, plans for about anyone. Best customer service in the MVNO space.
I went to US Mobile as well and they do have the best customer service of any cell service I have ever had
I have heard MANY people continue to mention great things about US Mobile. I will be looking very closely at their offerings, thank you!!
That's a lie, most people really do need Unlimited everything. Please only speak for your own experiences and not compare your situations to others? It makes you look foolish when doing so.
@andrewaddison6270 statics say otherwise. In my semi retirement, I work with people and do lectures on cellular choices. I have worked with many many people. Young people have a much greater need for data. Your idea of unlimited is most likely hundreds of gigs a month. Most people use 30gb or less. Everyone situation is different. What I find is that most people are paying too much for data they don't need or paying too much for too little data on an ancient plan.
@@markmandelstamm2866 Wrong again. Online is not always accurate and for you to speak for other people is total nonsense. Many people enjoy there truly unlimited data services. Truly unlimited is the bread and butter for customers to have. So again, please only speak on your own experiences and not for everybody elses. Just saying.
