We then just went off the rails and somehow Americans use Imperial despite not having a king and then a lot of the world that did have Kings use not Imperial haha.

especially because they were really confident they could judge fairly regardless of temp but it was insanely obvious that the warmth and freshness was like 60% of the game for them

Something I've discovered after moving all over the country when I was in the military was wherever I went, my favorite pizza places changed. I don't just mean the local places; I mean the big chain places. They all were at different qualities at different locations. Some places I liked Pizza Hut more, or Domino's, or Papa John's. The only ones that didn't change all that much were the ones that have low quality ingredients like Little Caesars and Chucky Cheese. The one thing that never changed was that I could always find a local pizza place that was better than any of the chain stores.

Yes! In my area there were two Domino locations and one sucked and one was really good. And also for some reason, the Caesar’s in my area is probably A tier. I would say S but like you said there is a local place that is so much better than all the chains, that it alone is the S tier.

LC being the first pizza to arrive, still being warm, and being consistent with the general quality of LC is essentially what they advertise it as, Hot and Ready. They don't promise it's the best, they promise it'll fuckin be there when you want it and that it'll be warm+. No other chain compares.

The reason people think Dominos sucks is that about 10 years ago it was rated the worst chain. They had a big effort to rebrand and improve their recipes. They added a lot more spices and flavoring and its much better now.
Yeah the crust is now amazing. It's still not the best, but it's cheap and pretty good compared to the old dominos

I stopped eating a lot of pizza chains pizza because in Jacksonville fl,a place I grew up in, served a lot of pizza that was barely cooked thew would barely leave it in there long enough tbh and then it just became a game of what was cheaper grocery store pizza pr little ceasers when the price would be back to okay range.
Idk one or two pizza chains used to be so greased up it would make me sick but I can't recall which.
they also got the worst pizza. everyone knows the detroit style is the best thing to get a little casers. hands down better than anything else

Gotta say this is probably the best pizza tier list I have seen. Fun fact with Costco even if you don't have a membership if they have a separate entrance they usually don't card you for the food court. I have a membership and I have never been carded when going through the exit which is near the food court.

I know they're doing chains because they're available everywhere and less variable than local joints (plus it gets better views), but there are so many excellent pizzas available across the U.S. from regional chains and small businesses that don't get their due.
It's like watching a "U.S. Chocolate is bad" video and the chocolate in question is Hershey's... Like yeah, the grossly mismanaged chains that are skimping on their workers and production will be worse! That doesn't mean that all U.S.-based food is bad.
at my School for Lunch we got sent Wraps from McDonalds, Subs from Subway and Cheese Pizza from a good local place
Where im from little Cesar is always packed and nothing is ready but its because its affordable and can feed 4 sometimes more
