- Evolution/History of X-Ray Engine Games from 2007 to 2014. The X-Ray Engine is a 3D game engine created by Kiev-based computer game developer GSC Game World. Released on 20 March 2007, the engine is used in the first three S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games released by the company. An upgraded engine is planned for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.

@@official_marked_one it's still a shadow of chernobyl mod. It uses the same engine. Impressive for its time but pretty dated today
@@mohammedhersi5774 depends on how you see things. For me, Modifications are for certain games. But if you dont need any games its not a mod in my opinion

The shitty graphics actually work well (SoC), the atmoshpere is kinda lost at CoP, but the game is polished and the shooting aspects of the game are better.

@AstroTube Stalker runs with 1 core processor and 1 gb of ram, or less. Never tried.
@@_Bandit88 only run (+60 fps medium settins) with a low/medium modern hardware (maybe a R3 3200g, i3 9100/10100 gtx 1050 o similar) if you want play stalker series on a low spec PC (like my PC pentium 3220G 9500 GT 4 gb ram) you have 50/60 fps 720p all in low settings.
