this was recorded on GAMMA 0.9.1. with the Zone Reality Re-texture.
The reshades used are phrozac's grim v2 and the one that comes with the retexture mod.
The new weapons and adjusted positioning all come with the new update of the Ultimate GAMMA Gun Pack.
The HD models are from the KVMAS/Azetrix Model Merge Project.
All items mentioned are available on the GAMMA discord. GAMMA is a modpack for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly.

mistake on my part, the mosin nagant (merc) is actually a carcano model 1881.

Nice modding showcase man. It was cool to get the mod info included during your run. (Iron sights/reflex all the way BTW?!) Great presentation. It musta took you a while to get this put together! This game never ceases to amaze still today. This gets me hyped for Stalker 2!
Ey man, can you enter Red Forest with HD Models now?? I remember you couldn't get into Red forest with HD Characters now because the SIN members did not get HD models yet. Is this still the case?

I honestly wish they'd make a game this detailed for the Metro universe. Exploring the metro system or the abandoned ruins of Moscow would be so cool together with dynamic faction wars. Ah one can only hope.

I played Metro Exodus blind, didn't look at any trailers or reviews and whatnot
With how you progress through the story in that game, there are frequent references to three things
1. A safe haven of some sort, which is where you're headed
2. An almost mythical train of some kind
3. The potential of many other isolated metro systems just like the one you came from, one of which you even travel trough
When the game was nearing it's end I actually thought that we were gonna be able to go back and forth from safe haven to metro system. Rescuing people and growing your settlement.
Instead the game just ended. Biggest disappointment I've had in a while (which is a good thing, not really a big deal).

Taking one of the most immersive games of all time and then cranking up the immersion to 9000. Awesome!
So happy to see the love stalker still gets so many years later, and so awesome the devs blessed the gamma project. The greed and state of the gaming industry has been pretty dark of late, but this is a shining beacon of love and passion over all else.

Great content. Most people who have cool mod setups are irrationally stingy about sharing so it's refreshing to see tooltips about exactly what's at play
not sharing your mod setup goes against the spirit of the modding community, and then to flaunt it on youtube too? childishly selfish behaviour.

I have 400+ mods installed on Skyrim and i would lose my mind if somebody asked me to name and describe every mod

Awesome video. I really liked the info displays on each gun since there are so many, but I don’t think you needed them on certain items (detector, cigarettes). Keep up the great work!

Just wanted to point out the tip about sleeping longer than needed really only applies to the "free" beds scattered around the Zone. If you're carrying your own, you won't have to worry about waking early.

I just started playing I'm beyond hooked. The atmosphere and immersion is unmatched. I can't watch any videos because I don't want spoilers, every new zone and milestone like going out at night for the first time is a once in a lifetime experience.
Just had to go back south to the swamp to turn in some quests and did it at night, it was something else. The last time I was there it was a very rare beautiful blue sky day, maybe the only one in my whole play through.
Just upgraded from an AK 74M to an AEK-971, just went to truck cemetery for the first time and tomorrow morning going to army warehouse for my first time.

a little bit of both. I edited in all the wind sounds, the creaky wood, heavy breathing and some other little enhancements. nothing too major, just wanted to elevate the atmosphere.

Nice, vid. I really like watching people playing Stalker, but I can't seem to bring myself into playing the game even if I have plenty of experiences with realistic tac shooters before and have tried the game too.
In your opinion, what is the best mindset to have for playing through the game? What are the things that you must pay attention to, as a beginner and as a player in general?
Oh man I've no idea how I can sum this up in a YT comment, but here goes...
For me, I basically approach GAMMA as a fight in which I'm the perpetual underdog and I'm trying to see how long I can last in the ring. It's incredibly fun for me to curate my own narrative and story as I navigate this perilous experience and see what The Zone throws at me.
Regarding your latter question, I think it's crucial that as beginner you realize you're not really supposed to be alone at all times. Ironic considering the most popular newbie faction is the "Loners", but there are tons of companions you can invite to come along with you while you learn how to grow and progress your character through all the different crafting and progression systems at play in GAMMA.
Some other general tips:
- try to make sure every outing ends in a net positive (you spend less money on supplying yourself than you loot at the end)
- maintaining your weapons is cheaper than replacing them
- the higher your reputation with a vendor, the better stuff they'll be willing to sell you so go questing
- guiding someone or doing a quest where you're helping somebody basically yields you a free companion for the duration of the quest
- this game is very hard, but it does a great job of making sure every challenge has a tool or mechanic that will make it easier to manage. Unfortunately, the only real way to learn this is by playing but trust me when I say the puzzle will solve itself as you progress
Most important thing to take away here though is that GAMMA is vastly different from other S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. Anomaly/GAMMA and pretty much any modpack for Anomaly are mostly designed as a supplementary experience for people who have been engaging with the universe and want an extra hardcore sandbox to play around and create their own stories in.
This is all off the top of my head but hopefully it will help you set a foundation for your own experience. The community here is incredibly helpful so ask any questions you may have in the GAMMA discord or even in ours, link should be in the video description.

I am playing Stalker SOC for the first time and I just cleared that lab yesterday. Weirdly enough, clearing the upper levels where snorks and bloodsuckers roam was more intense than the brain scorcher chamber.
Truly descending into the depths of hell on this mission.

i play efp 3, efp 4, and gamma.
And i have to say that EFP 3 looks better than everything that came later, the light and colours are much more natural and look more realistic, the shaders could make the game more eye candy with those saturation and contrast colours, but they remind you all time u are in a videogame.

I dunno that UGP MP-412 rex is a single action revolver. The ones in gamma is double action but still have the pull hammer animation. I just spam it like im fanning it 😅
The mk47 was funny, pulls back the bolt for a press check, theres no round, and he just rides the bolt forward like eh 🤷🏿♀️
Hey where abouts do you get these repositions? I'm running latest UGP and don't have the same repos for the rex and others. They look unreal!
yeah I'm noticing from some other users that they all got changed in the newest version. I've been asking around if anyone has a working link of the older version (1.6.5) but no luck so far :(

How are you liking the ultimate gunpack? I at first thought it added way to much but that was a bit back when I tried it out.
I'm in the same boat and am still trying to figure out which guns I like/dislike but it's too big of a pain in the ass constantly calibrating because you need a new save everytime you change it up.
one thing I will say is that I'm not ready to jump to 1.6.6 yet and am still one version behind. The new one is a little too buggy imo and I prefer the weapon positioning in 1.6.5 anyway so ima hold off updating for a bit
