THE KMPDC MEMO - Community Pharmacy Practice, Insurance Position & Best Way Out

The last couple of weeks have seen the emergence of new models of practice by medical insurance companies coming into partnership with community pharmacies to deliver care. In these models, there's the focus on primary care services, access and convenience to the patients.
On the backdrop of this, we've had KMPDC issuing a memo on their regulatory mandate and scope of practice which is rather opposed to the new model of practice. In this video I give a breakdown of the current situation, emerging trends and how we can walk out of this better as the healthcare fraternity and a nation.
