    • @toosunakabooma1213
      @toosunakabooma1213 5 років тому

      Not dead ! simply in a kind of asteral limbo. Im not a betting man but I predict that these bikes will be making their way into compentent caring and capable hands. The overgrowth on a fair group of these bikes is a sign of the absence of foot traffic but theres some big clues visable that suggest a sorting is being done. Bundles like this show up on ebay disquised as a horde but greed will always bring a mag lite to light the path and reduce stepping in the BS. think this is a way to" test the waters" that is if this is somebodys hoard that timed out on him. Most likely a yard about to get a do over.

    There once was a few junkyards like this in my area of the Country...now they're all gone. I went to one in the early 90's and was able to get my very first bike running thanks to finding the CDI I needed on a frame half buried in the dirt. It was the only part left on the frame. When I got home and put it on my machine, I couldn't believe it worked.

I'm a Yamaha guy and I definitely saw some Yamahas specifically I saw an 83 to 85 IT and right behind that the late 70s IT with a steel swing arm and then behind that looked like a 83 or 84 YZ. A fond memory of bumping in third and flipping (lol) gave up with the kick start from risking a broken ankle on kickback .. I ended up with an old copper water tank and engineered the head gaskets as i went through so many I couldn't find any stock of spares anywhere

    Owner of these should be ashamed of himself, would be great if you could buy the whole lot and part them out and maybe restore a few, would be very time consuming but those parts could put 100s of classic bikes back on the road...or dirt lol
