Terry Pickering’s superb collection of dirt bikes has been a great source of material for my Classic Dirt Bike TV Channel. I’ve visted his collection many times and the quality of machines he has is simply amazing.
@@malcolmmitchell6529 Considering that he has had several series on TV of his World Wide Motorcycle Rides where he often covers thousands of miles, I would say that his knowledge of motorcycles and his riding ability is far superior to yours! I see you also have several very derogatory comments about Henry's education and upbringing which positively goes to show that you come from a poor family, poor schooling, and are a Liebour supporter! Poor, jealous little man, get back to your BSA Bantam.
Owned a Maico 250 back in the day & now with the popularity of classic twin shock mx racing they're fetching serious money Not very often I think Henry gets a bargain, but today he did!
When I was 18 I bought a Maico 490 twin shock for dicking about on down on the old tip off the Weedon Road in Northampton, there was a group of us and we would be down there every Sunday all day having the time of our lives, I must have weighed about 12 stone so you can imagine how that used to come up, always regretted selling it for £250! - that was back in 1984.
why have manufacturers of motorcycles not fitted a sensor to tell you when you have a deflating tyre,my brother lost control of his bike because of the punctured rear tyre and went into a barrier and broke his femur
@@CJRSBK still no clear answer. Although Henry did sort of answer the question on another thread somewhere...? I'm sure he said Sam was now concentrating on his family life and his own projects at home in Cornwall or Devon 🤷♂️👍
@@CJRSBK no worries. I saw it in the comments on one of the many channels that Henry plays a role in. But if I had to narrow it down I would say It might have been Shed and buried, or Allen Millyard's superb UA-cam channel. Strangely enough, I've never owned a motorbike, but I've always been a fan of engineering etc. That's what lead me to Henry, Sam and Allen all those years ago. Allen Millyard is not your everyday average species of human being 😆! He's a very likeable and interesting fella. A modern day Mr Spock. Half human, and half something else that's highly intelligent and naturally sees things from outside of the box. He's far too modest and down to earth. He could earn life changing amounts of dough if he offered his services to absolutely any big name motorbike brand, but he's not interested in the slightest. Allen's idea of the perfect life is the one he lives now. A unique one off designer and engineer who gives life to his creations at home in his shed with a nice cuppa and a few of his wifes fairy cakes etc. He's definitely a bit different to everyone else. But I mean that as the highest compliment. His infamous 'Flying Millyard' that's powered by an aeroplane engine is like something out of sci-fi movie. I think it only took him 8 months to build it from his first idea to the finished job? That's quicker than Heath Robinson could've imagined it and sketched it on paper! Have a look at Heath Robinsons drawings. That's who Allen reminds me of. But Allen doesn't do sketches and drawings of his ideas. Everything is stored in his head and his visual ideas become real life fully functioning machines created with parts that he makes entirely by hand in his little workshop and shed at home. Amazing stuff. Heath Robinson would be proud of Allen. 😊👍

Aww! I like the Maico! I had a 1983 250cc Magnum here in the USA 🇺🇸 that one might be the big boy 490cc! 🍻
I think he said it was a 400 . Still wouldn't disappoint though I'm sure .
Only thing missing was an MZ GE 250. A 1980s crosser that made at least 40 bhp. Plenty of pix online but very little information.
The Maico500 is an 84 model we raced one back in the day ,
Great fun!
