So much GREATNESS on that Property!!! My Pop had a friend who worked for Yamaha corporate... Gave me that same ashtray at end of your vid... I was like 10 or 11 & told me DONT START SMOKING KID and I never did... I’ve gotta dig that HELMET ASHTRAY up lmho!!! Just AWESOME, simply AWESOME place... Thanks for sharing!!!!
Same here.... I had the YZ80E (1979), RM125B, RM125T, PE250T ... the 80's..... couldn't sleep thinking about riding the next day....... remember the XR75 with the Gold DG Head.....🤩
JuxtaRepublic ... The E was actually 1978... The F was 1979... It was the 1974 Honda XR75 that CHANGED MY LIFE though. My best friend called me on Christmas morning, 1974 (we were 9 yrs old), and told me to come see what “Santa” had parked in his garage. I was immediately in love, and my friend Kevin let me SIT on it, but not for long. I NEVER got one. The next summer I got a cheap POS Montgomery Ward, 4HP Tecumseh orange mini-bike, and grudgingly rode it AROUND THE YARD while all my friends RODE REAL MOTORCYCLES together in the woods every day after school. I was FORBIDDEN to take the mini-bike out of the yard. I was the ULTIMATE UN-COOL kid. My desire and jealousy for a REAL motorcycle was out of control as I heard all the motorcycles echoing in the woods all around me, especially the 2-strokes. I was SURROUNDED by XR80s, GTMX80s, XL75s and 80s, CR and KX 80s, all of them, all around me. It was music to my ears and perfume to my nose. I used to try my best to chase them down and keep up on my bicycle, sometimes even on foot, so I could at least WATCH them ride. In 1979, my parents finally divorced and my mother moved me out of state and FINALLY got me a brand new 1979 Yamaha YZ80F... I BECAME the cool kid in my new neighborhood. And then it just grew from there; the YZ80F, YZ100F, YZ125G, a 50cc Puch moped as my “first street bike” at 15, in 1981, a 1980 Yamaha DT100 as a first dual sport (actually my mother’s bike that she rode with me while I rode on the moped - but it became my more often dual-sport), then I was FORCED to sell ALL bikes to get a car for college in 1983 - tragic loss! - and I finally bought an IT490 in 1988, and sold it (HUGE REGRET!) in 1992 desperate for money. The new owner totaled it the first week and broke both legs in 6 total places on it... I was financially forced to leave riding behind for another 8 years, then finally got a Honda Rebel that I rode for a couple years, and then when it died, I was financially forced again to not have any bikes for another 13 years (2002-2015), and FINALLY, as a reward for my son’s successful fight and victory over cancer in 2015, bought him and myself a pair of used father/son dirt bikes (TTR230 and KLX110), and haven’t looked back since. We now have 14 bikes and I’m back to a LIFE of riding now... A WR250R, TT250, KLR650, and KTM500 EXC-F, as our main rides, along with 10 other dirt bikes and pending restoration projects... It’s a good life when you ride... 😉😉😉 ... I still never got that XR75 though, and STILL want one out of sentimentality. I currently have a 1986 XR80, and 1978 YZ80 and GTMX 80 awaiting restoration, but still no XR75... LOL! 😉😉😉
The GTMX and YZ80's (mine was a 78) were childhood bikes for me...the YZ got me started in racing and I love the fact that you find so many and bring them back to life, so thank you for that.
Wow that is what heaven looks like. Great find guys. Its great to see these bikes restored it brings so many of us back to our childhoods. Ive done a few bikes wish i could of kept them all. 85 kx 125, 79 yz250 ,81yz 250, 78pe175, and the legendary 86cr 500.
Great episode big fan of Kaplan America it's funny I live 3 miles from that junk yard I drive by it all the time .I never knew how nice it was .I think I need a project.
Yep mine was the 78 or 79 model too gezz just awesome wish i could find another to teach my kids and grandkids the respect in owning such an awesome little machine actually if i remember mine had a headlight and blinker setup.on handle bars but there was only a headlight no taillight or blinkers but yeah it was a very special bike to me so many fun and happy storys on that little beast cheers again

NICE!!!.....I had a couple of the kawasaki mach 3's 500 same color. First one I put weirge pipes and second one I put bassani pipes and Marzocchi rear shocks among other things......thanks for the reminder.
Your right ken I love mopar and bike bone yards. You usually the most interesting things there. Great hall on those 19 bikes from road island can't wait to see them rip.
Ok...this was scary. I literally watched two of my other favorite channels. The tommy mac wood working, and uncle tonys garage. When i tuned in here....i seen both of them in you. And the classic mopar took it over the top. Tony used to operate in NY. And Tommy was in Boston. I need to go buy a lotto ticket today. Great share!!!!
I live 10 min away from halls garage.I called you a week or so ago to get a appraisal price on my 1997 cr250 im restoring right now. I cant beleive how much the 2 strokes dirt bikes are selling for. Wish I had the money to buy that brand new 03 cr250 you guys have on ebay!
Love your videos brother's brings back a lot of good times.riding the hole day thank you for your hard work and time one of the best on utube.in my opinion.
The best junkyard I have been in was in Yellowknife NWT. I wasn't expecting much, but every car that made it up to Yellowknife never left town. And in the far North things don't rust ....at all.
Dukes of Hazzard....My favorite childhood show. Had a huge crush on Daisy Duke. As a young kid, I had a t-shirt of her, laying across the hood of a Jeep. General Lee is Badass! 69 Dodge Charger RT with the 440 6 pack. John Schneider (No Duke) has has house/film studio/music studio, about 2 hours from my house. I need to go check it out one day. I would pay to ride in the General Lee, even more so, if I could drive it! Amazing video and vintage bikes. The green Kawasaki Triple 500 was Amazing! Would love to have one, and at the very least, have the opportunity to ride one. My Dad had a Kawasaki 350 Triple, and 500 Triple, before I was born in 1973. I heard many stories of Dad cutting up on them, and having seen how he rode 2 stroke dirtbikes, I bet it was entertaining to see! God Bless The Kaplan Family and the USA! I Love How You Say God Bless America, At The End Of Every Video? Whomever doesn't like it, Piss On Em. If they hate it that much here, I will pack their bags for them, and help them move.
Man! I’ve got to ride out to see you guys and the museum! Totally thought this was going to be my life when I was in high school. You’re really living the dream!
This is so cool man I started on a 77 jr50 it is still in my family my next bike was a Yamaha mx80 so cool both bikes featured in this video I grew up in Connecticut I live in Maine now don't ask why LOL it's just where the Lord brought me in my family God bless you guys and God bless America
Thanks guys I decided to buy a dirt bike for this covid-19 going on but a 98 KX250 seize the engine in a week then I bought a motor on eBay for 900 and it has a bad tranny but runs good LOL just my luck out of funds and got a bike that looks good sitting pretty LOL praying to get some work coming in and get her done I'll keep you updated

hmmmm'..? your not looking hard enough...google "motorcycle graph.com" & type in mr 50...and you shall see quite a few (*and no - i have no affiliation to the site..its just a good resource for finding bikes...
My dad's 1974 tm250 was the first bike that I rode where I felt my balls in my throat because I gave it all it had when he finally let me take it for a ride it when I was about 11 or 12 in front of all his friends in about '83 or '84. I came back and both of us were shaking! LMBO! That thing had a power band on it like a switch of nitrous! I would love to ride one again! He had an old school compression release on his for slowing down rapidly it was cool!
That Kawasaki tripple in the trailer, that is a bad mfr. My late brother built the engine on a friend of his on a 900 I believe,2 stroke tripple, board out and sick. My brother said he would be doing 120 when the power band kicked in and put it on the back wheel, wether you wanted to or not. My brother was riding when I was born, when I was about 8 he rode up on it,turned it off and his hands were shaking, very unusual for him. There wasn't anything on the road that could come close to it,not in all of Tampa Bay. Seeing all those old bikes man,you are so fortunate, awesome.
I can remember sitting in the library in junior high looking at the magazine ad for that Yamaha MX. I think it was an 80 a 100 and a 175. I wound up getting a 1980 Suzuki ds100. Brand new! The good old days!
Wow wee theres my first ever bike the mx80 hell yeah ken wow i rode the excattly same bike but mine was a blue and white but blue colour was like a metallic colour but gezz me and my mates use to ride around for years on that bike even gave the old coppers a hand full when they would try and chase us ohh the fun i had as a kid what awesome memories thanks again for another awesome video champ ur the man ken sr cheers again from the family from down under

I think my old Valiant is there. If you see one that is almost folded in half right behind drivers door with a person sized hole in the windshield then that would be it. The folded in half part came from a V-plow going about 35-40 mph. The plow hit us so hard it threw my buddy(pass) right through the windshield. Last view of him was the bottom of his sneakers going out the windshield
I started on a hand me down Yamaha GT 80 when I was little. It was held together with wire scraps and electrical tape. The forks were shot and the rear suspension made your kidneys hurt. But it just kept running! My dad sold it for $25 to a shop and brought me a 94 RM125. I wasn’t ready for that bike! I put it through a barbed wire fence! Ha. Still miss that GT80 to this day.
First time i rode a Seca Turbo was a test ride of a slightly used bike.. I has no idea the gear selector linkage had been reversed GP style.. i took off in 2nd gear.. wound it up near redline then money shifted into 1st.. scared the shit outta me.. lifted the wheel.. dam near looped it... and somehow didn't crash or break the engine.. i was so impressed with the durability, I bought the bike..
Seems like everybody made a bike that looked like that old Yamaha 200 in the trailer. I used to ride a 1965 Suzuki Hustler that looked almost just like that, but was a 250 twin smoker. It was the rocket of it's day. Only odometer I ever saw that read vertically.
I've had over 150 combined mx, & mini had 2 of all Honda motorcycles cars trucks, street bikes vehicles cause have 2 Alpha type Sons ,but dude it don't suck being you and your boys . Rock ,!! 0n!!!
Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth. My very first bike dirt bike was a Yamaha YZ80E. The same as your friends. The only difference was the color. .I remember when bike shops always had the new parts you needed..Push rod, oil seal and piston kit. Your friend will know what I'm talking about. 😁
That yz80 thats going in the museum looks like ny first bike only mine was a 79 yz60 bored to an 80.. i would literally give anything to have another late 70s yz60
hey guys the big white chevvy coupe deville its the same as the one in the deer hunter . utterly speechless places like that don't exist in England anymore . wot a find the bikes greta Thunberg wont like this lol
It’s crazy to see this, I live like literally 30min from Harry’s and am in love with bikes, I’m definitely going to subscribe if I haven’t already and I am also from ct when your museum opens back up I’ll have to check it out with my son and gf, and did he say 500 for a grom with title 😮
Ken love dirt bikes and your channel !! Have some amazing bikes that I come across on the west coast, Message me, we should talk about getting them to the east coast... Till then have fun ripping!!
Flashback my 1st bike a 1980 mx80 In 83ish? When I was 10 it was exactly like the one you bought, It was like new for $400 my dad helped pay for it with my savings acct. I thought it was fast until I tried a cr80! I also had a 83 or 84 yz80 last year of yellow ones. Ahh good old days.

But it just kept running! My dad sold it for $25 to a shop and brought me a 94 RM125. I wasn’t ready for that bike! I put it through a barbed wire fence! Ha. Still miss that GT80 to this day.
Love your channel man!!! You're gonna blow up subscribers eventually!
Woah! That's heaven. Great video
Man I can't believe all the bikes you guys have back east. I kinda figured everything would be rusted away. Beautiful bikes dude yourca lucky guy!
Great video..man I love those old dirt bikes..

Omg, those are some old beauties 😍
Seems like everybody made a bike that looked like that old Yamaha 200 in the trailer. I used to ride a 1965 Suzuki Hustler that looked almost just like that, but was a 250 twin smoker. It was the rocket of it's day. Only odometer I ever saw that read vertically.
CAR and bike hoarder!!!!👊👊😁

Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth. My very first bike dirt bike was a Yamaha YZ80E. The same as your friends. The only difference was the color. .I remember when bike shops always had the new parts you needed..Push rod, oil seal and piston kit. Your friend will know what I'm talking about. 😁
