While some people may just call it a motorhome, it is so much more than that. An RUV is a Recreational Utility Vehicle. This vehicle can haul more than a typical full size SUV, includes a full bathroom and kitchen, and is compact in size and downright comfortable!

Nice RV, love the short size. I wish they had less sleeping areas, and larger kitchen and bathrooms. I spend 8 hrs sleeping, but 16 hours cooking, bathroom, living.
That's a lot of time in the bathroom
The horsepower depends on the year of manufacture according to one source. Post 2004 V10s had major design changes and supposedly more horsepower. In any case the V10 is the best bang for the buck!! Thanks for showing the Thor Vegas 24.1.An excellent motorhome!

Can maybe see a manual air pump for the overhead twin, but no way for the sofa queen.
Ryobi makes a nice battery powered electric pump that shuts off when the set psi is reached.

The Thor Vegas is available with a few options as far as slides go.
The 24.2 has a larger slide on the driver's side compared to the 24.1 and the 25.2 has a rear slide.

I believe that the 6.8 V10 is 360 hp. not 305. That is the rating for a V8.

I double checked the specifications for the engine and found that the Ford V10 is rated at 305HP and 420 lb-ft Torque.

there are 2 versions of the v10. a 2 valve 305 hp for the E series Fords. A 3 valve which has more hp and torque for the F series chassis.

I think the air mattress idea is just stupid specially for the couch. normal matress\cushions way better.!
I agree, for what you pay for a new motorhome, they could have made better upholstery then an air mattress and hand pump.

Lost me with the ford powertrain, otherwise it looks like a nice RV.
You only want Ford or Dodge. Trust me
+Mark Norman I disagree. Dodge, Chevy, and Mercedes have proven reliability. The Fords are more trouble than they're worth. I imagine that they are more commonly used due to the cost of the engine/chassis combo when compared to the other manufacturers.
+glsracer I've driven Ford trucks over the years never had problems. Never had the V-10. Just my opinion. What Chevy drive train is a good one. I'm shopping for a class a gas. I'm leaning toward Dodge. I don't want to go to the expense of a mecedes.
+Mark Norman the 6.0 and 6.2 Chevy V8s seem to be reliable. I've noticed in my search that more options are available with ford engines. the RUV in this video is an example, a GM engine isn't available. Like Intel, Wal-Mart, and Apple, I won't give Ford money.
+glsracer I worked for a courier company that had a bunch of ford vans all with over 500k miles. None of them had any major engine work, just maintained properly. They were beat on by the drivers. I would certainly trust a well maintained ford v8. Dunno about that v10 though.

The Class B designation is for full-size vans that have been upfitted for camping duties. The Thor Vegas is a Class A RV on a Class C chassis.
It is a big difference between a class B and this RV. When we first shopped around we also looked at a class B, I didn't like it, first of too narrow inside not 2 people can walk by and second the class B is way too high in price, a lot much more that the Thor, I fell in love with this one the minute I saw the first video then when I actually walked in to it, that was it...I am in love with my Thor Vegas...
As soon as I saw the outside entertainment center I shut it off.
