I own a 2004 Excel-TS Ford chassis and am still in love with it. The quality of the whole coach is exceptional. Never have had even an appliance break. No squeaks or rattles 45k miles, bought new. I love it. It still draws a crowd at campgrounds. Thanks Pleasureway!
What a pleasure (no pun intended) to see an American company that takes pride in building fine motor homes that have awesome quality and craftsmanship.
Outstanding presentation - probably the best on the net, because it was thorough with zero 'used-car salesman' phoniness, lingo, and/or gimmicks. Much appreciated.
Dude, I have watched almost 90 of these videos...1. No one has EVER mentioned the yellow info stripin the passenger door 2. I believe that if you speak for a living...you should be able to do it well....YOU BLEW ME AWAY!! Fantastic Job sir!! 3. This unit is unique in so many ways from other small C class I have seen....very well thought out!! 4. THANK YOU for realizing that the future is SOLAR!! THE best demo of a vehicle I have seen to date!!
Wow! Just found my next MH!!! LOVE the shower and bathroom. Love the movable table. I hate slides so not having one is great! The idea of endless hot water is dreamy! The solar is perfect. I"m vegan so I'm glad it's not "real" leather! Love the quality of everything. Plus, I like the way he does these videos. Clear sound, everything explained. Somebody did some thinking when they built this. Gotta have one...soon!
I will have to win the Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes to buy one of these. Perfect to save on motel expenses at the dog obedience trials I attend.
I like this. I'm usually not a fan of light wood, but it makes it look brighter and bigger inside so it works for me. Like the window when the bed is pulled down for cross breezes, it only makes sense.
In 10 years I will retire. I cannot wait to see what will be their. I am so very sorry to use you all as a guideline. I wish I was a customer today. God Bless Good Luck, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Be best in happiness health and wealth!
I love this! A tiny detal: It looks like the wooden frame below the bed has sharp, 90 degree corners. This might make them prone to shin scraping when you try to walk around the bed. Can these be rounded a tiny bit?
Be a little careful! That's all one got to do... If you can't, then you ain't fit for MH lifestyle!!!.. Don't venture out in the unknown stay in the 'comforts' of your home lol.
Excellent home and presentation I would suggest you consider curved or molded edges for the bed corners. Despite the space to walk around I think it would add to safety.
To bad the CCC sucks. This would be a Winner!! Im at 240lbs, full water 300lbs only leaves 790 more lbs. Adding another person you can take off somewhere around 200lbs now that leaves. 590 lbs for food, chairs, tools, pots and pans , clothing and other misc supplies. If the CCC was higher I would buy one.
Why other companies don't use the Murphy Bed in their designs is beyond me. This is the only layout that makes sense in a motor home of this size. A 75 lb propane tank is a major feature and a must for boondocking. I would want at least double the solar capacity but other than that this is about as 'perfect' as it gets. Well done :~)
LOVE IT!.... I have spent weeks looking at vids of motorhomes... this is by bar the best! The only thing that I feel could be a little better is the dinner table. Does not look like two people could eat dinner off that table. As soon at the GCR hits, this is what I am getting!
My choice is between this unit and Leisure Travel Vans Unity. Both units have their advantages, but I must admit the fact LTV's water tank is inside the coach is a big selling feature as I would still like to use the RV in October and early November in Southern BC. I don't need a four seasons but would still like to be able to use the RV in late fall.
I absolutely love it. What a beautiful and well made dream! Have you ever thought about using a composting toilet and then expanding fresh and gray water capacity?
Hi Ken, thanks for taking the time to comment! Regarding the expansion of the holding tanks, the problem we have is finding more space that continues to allow for proper drainage as well as keeping adequate road clearance. We also feel it is a necessity to keep the black tank and flushing toilet as part of our overall water system. We currently don't have plans to add a composting toilet on our end but we have seen people successfully incorporate them after the fact. Thanks again!
The only thing I want to change is having the dark cabinets with the gray seating. I think it is clearly the best RV on the market, and I look forward to when I can get one and get out on the road...
One thing jumping out at me is the shrine to the fire extinguisher. I appreciate that it's best to have it handy but I'd choose another location for that one.
Now since this has been around for several years, how has that Cecoplex (or whatever it is) held up in the heat and vibration when it isn't screwed also?
At first look, it seems too good to be true! Just what I was looking for, but settled for less not knowing this was on the market! Are the tanks heated enough to use in freezing weather?
Please offer this with the Ford Transit platform and save us all a ton of cash. I don't need a Mercedes with the huge markup. Love the plan and solar set-up and would buy it otherwise.
enjoyed the video. Is white the only exterior color? As a woodworker I am not a fan of maple or the clear finish on the cabinetry. Does it come in any other wood veneer and color? NO SCREWS? Don't know about that. Some glues break down over time especially exposed to moisture, then the two substances come apart.. Hope it is a very strong glue and waterproof.. Looks good though
Hi Joe, thanks for watching the video and taking the time to comment. The PLXL comes in three exterior colors: greywhite (as seen in the video), silver and pearl. You can see these colors on the PLXL model page here: pleasureway.com/plateau-xl/ The PLXL comes in the standard maple cabinetry you see in the video and we also offer a high gloss, slab laminate package in three colors: white chocolate, natural and copper. You can see those options and the rest of the finishing options at the bottom of the PLXL model page on the website. Thanks again!
Love the movable table. The layout uses every inch and lots of storage. Can you use this unit in freezing weather? I was reading comments on another page and it sounds like it's not heated. ( holding tanks and hook ups) You gave a great presentation.
Hi Kat, You can certainly still drive and operate the motorhome in freezing temperatures, but as you said, all the holding tanks and water lines are located underneath the coach and are exposed to potential cold temperatures. We recommend that the water system not be used when the outside temperature drops below the freezing point. It is best to run antifreeze throughout the water lines at this time. So, in that regard you won’t be able utilize the water system, but you can still operate the coach. Thanks for your question!
I can't wait to visit a RV Show in CA and look over this model. How many 12 volt cigarette type plugs are located in this model. I know there is one in the front cab but what about the back kitchen area? Thank you
There is only the one 12 volt cigarette lighter type outlet located in the pull-out cup holder in the dash, as you mentioned. There are also three, duplex USB charging ports located in the coach, but those are standard USB 12 volt plugs. Thanks for your interest!
Wow..................the best one i have seen so far. Do you have right hand driven motor homes for the Indian market. How much is the price of this motorhome?
Hello, the 2017 Plateau XLMB can now include up to five solar panels, so it will depend on what option you choose. I have sent you a direct message with information on our pricing, thank you!
Hi +Shirley Cusack, we do not have a black water tank flush on the Plateau XL. We just use a standard gate valve for both the black and grey tank, located on the driver side rear of the unit. Thanks!
Hi Edite Diogo, this video features the 2016 Plateau XLMB, we are now building the 2017 model year. The 2017 MSRP is $140,270 USD / $145,470 CAD. For more information on the 2017 Plateau XLMB visit the webpage here: pleasureway.com/plateau-xlmb/ Thank you!
Hi Brett, we currently only offer the PLXL in three exterior color options: greywhite, silver and pearl. They can be seen on the PLXL model page here: pleasureway.com/plateau-xl/ As for wrapping it, we don't offer that right from the factory here, but it is a definite possibility to do your self afterwards. Thanks for watching!
As the previous owner of many types of RV's during the past 40 plus years and repairing them slide outs are a pain. They add lots of weight and structural problems for the added space they provide. There are only a few very high end RV's I would even consider a slide out on. Most RV's are designed to leak and do so starting from the time they leave their factory. Whether hydraulic or electric operated you will have issues over time. The seals used are flimsy and most do not seal the cold or hot weather out or the cold or heat in. Many if the RV's frame is not reinforced properly bind when the frame is twisted from the added weight and the opening for the slide being out of square. Dirt - leafs - twigs ruin the foam rubber seals along with age while it slides in. I can not count how many brand new RV's with slides I have tried to adjust so as they will open and close properly along with closing completely. It's sad when customers think all this added space will not cost then later on.
Hi Twigs, this video features the 2016 Plateau XLMB and we are now building the 2017 version. The MSRP for the 2017 Plateau XLMB is $140,270 USD / $145,470 CAD. For more information on pricing be sure to contact your local Pleasure-Way dealer: pleasureway.com/locator/ Thanks for your interest!
Hi +HDsharp, The GVWR is 11,010 lbs and the occupant and cargo carrying capacity of this particular Plateau XL is 1,315 lbs. The OCCC will vary slightly depending on any optional features added to the Plateau XL. (The XL in the video includes the optional 285 watt, 3 solar panel package)
why not aluminum frame ? steel is so darn heavy. less weight = better MPG. which is the nut in a shell. and ya know will save at least 200 lbs. or will it save more. Great Rv. though. and I am for manual awnings . Dmm maybe I need to be a fabricator
Hi +ichthus1890, There is a link in the description of the video that will take you to the Plateau XL model page on our website. At the top of that page you will find the MSRP. Thanks!
That RV has everything anyone would need in that size of an RV. It's beautiful

They are a Canadian company…..

+edward houlton ...I agree. ....the finest one I've seen so far.
edward houlton -Yes. I'm really thinking of buying one.
I love the blonde wood and light colors. It gives it a fresh open feel. 🥰👍
The bathroom is well built and spacious. I also like how the bed is able to pull down.
Wow! Just found my next MH!!! LOVE the shower and bathroom. Love the movable table. I hate slides so not having one is great! The idea of endless hot water is dreamy! The solar is perfect. A Murphy Bed? Cool! That RV is EXACTLY what I Want!
It is great to see a proffessional production. The video people have done a great job. All the best.
I agreed the best RV value for money
Wow, awesome product! Best I have seen so far!
I will have to win the Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes to buy one of these. Perfect to save on motel expenses at the dog obedience trials I attend.

Beautiful' and functional top notch and a bathroom out of this world' love this .
I have never seen your product before this is better than the large companies a blend of European and American know how
In 10 years I will retire. I cannot wait to see what will be their. I am so very sorry to use you all as a guideline. I wish I was a customer today. God Bless Good Luck, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Be best in happiness health and wealth!
Wow, I think im in love lol! This B+ is quite impressive. A 76lb propane tank...that sold me right there! Cheers!
Starting at 5:40
Occupant and Carrying Capacity (useful load) 1315 lbs, 1030 lbs with full water tanks

I just can't wait to get on the road again!!
I love your presentation. Very informative.may I add, I love the layout.
I love this! A tiny detal: It looks like the wooden frame below the bed has sharp, 90 degree corners. This might make them prone to shin scraping when you try to walk around the bed. Can these be rounded a tiny bit?

+Jimmy Kraktov There are other companies that use a Murphy bed in a class B like this one, They are really tricked out !!
LOVE IT!.... I have spent weeks looking at vids of motorhomes... this is by bar the best! The only thing that I feel could be a little better is the dinner table. Does not look like two people could eat dinner off that table. As soon at the GCR hits, this is what I am getting!
One word. AWESOME!!!
Absolutely beautiful really nice 2016 Pleasure Way
Belíssimo Equipamento!
Pleasure-Way é a Melhor!
My choice is between this unit and Leisure Travel Vans Unity. Why not make a four season Pleasure way?
This is what I want !! When I win Publisher Cleaning House Sweepstakes This is on wish list
Ever thought of having the bed come down from ceiling? Happy Jack? Giving more storage ? 2 seater dinette?
One thing jumping out at me is the shrine to the fire extinguisher. I appreciate that it's best to have it handy but I'd choose another location for that one.
What a fantastic product, well done guys. The only negative is that you don't sell in the U.K.!
The video sound is pretty good, beyond my imagination
Now since this has been around for several years, how has that Cecoplex (or whatever it is) held up in the heat and vibration when it isn't screwed also?
At first look, it seems too good to be true! Just what I was looking for, but settled for less not knowing this was on the market! Are the tanks heated enough to use in freezing weather?
This RV is Super Nice!
That class C or B+ is superior to everything I’ve seen. 😍
I will be contacting you for further info, excellent thought put into this.
Love the Queen Murphy .
😆
maybe I'll win the lottery.
Love it.. perfect for the solo travler
Thank you for the tour.
Love this RV
it's doesn't so big.. it doesn't looks bad, it's beautiful... it's luxury.. it will be good honeymoon plan for newly wed couple..
Please offer this with the Ford Transit platform and save us all a ton of cash. I don't need a Mercedes with the huge markup. Love the plan and solar set-up and would buy it otherwise.
Can I change the solar panels for 300+ watt panels?
Spare tire Jack and lug wrench?Ladder to the roof for maintenance option?4x4 option?
I'd like to see a pocket door for the bathroom
The best performance and the best salesman I ever seen.
is it 4 season? would the tanks freeze in -20 winters?
Very well done video.

Hi Joe, thanks for watching the video and taking the time to comment. The PLXL comes in three exterior colors: greywhite (as seen in the video), silver and pearl. You can see these colors on the PLXL model page here: pleasureway.com/plateau-xl/
The PLXL comes in the standard maple cabinetry you see in the video and we also offer a high gloss, slab laminate package in three colors: white chocolate, natural and copper. You can see those options and the rest of the finishing options at the bottom of the PLXL model page on the website. Thanks again!
love the rig. can it be equipped with seat belts on sofa?
Hello,
Unfortunately, due to the sideways position of the sofa, we cannot safely add seatbelts to it. Thanks for the comment!
U Stunod
Love the movable table. The layout uses every inch and lots of storage. Can you use this unit in freezing weather? I was reading comments on another page and it sounds like it's not heated. ( holding tanks and hook ups) You gave a great presentation.

+Pleasure-Way Motorhomes thank you for the quick response. Are any of the Pleasure-Way units 4 season? Thanking you in advance.
Unfortunately none of our models are built four season.

Please come to New Zealand
wow i love this
Nice unit. Unfortunately, the headroom is of little value when you're 6'2" and the bed is only 74" long.
So you're saying, it fits you?
Traveling? Dude, I can live in this Rv
Wow..................the best one i have seen so far. Do you have right hand driven motor homes for the Indian market. How much is the price of this motorhome?
No built in wifi ?? Seems like a big mistake.. unless I missed something..
Gorgeous vehicle and great demo from the CEO.
I love the song at the end of the vídeo, who`s playing it?
beautiful .very nice
Beautiful
How much does model run??
Nice to get the demo by the CEO.
Love it!
truly upscale quality ... high class ... how much skrilla , we talkin ?
How does it cost with the solar panels
Hello, the 2017 Plateau XLMB can now include up to five solar panels, so it will depend on what option you choose. I have sent you a direct message with information on our pricing, thank you!
Lithium as standard nice at last
the bad thing is, both people have to get up at the same time if the other person needs to do things throughout the unit...bed
Is there a black water tank flush?
Hi +Shirley Cusack, we do not have a black water tank flush on the Plateau XL. We just use a standard gate valve for both the black and grey tank, located on the driver side rear of the unit. Thanks!
I want one!
Nice presentation. Going to get a class c...decisions.
I love this one! I want one!

Possible to design the outside ?? Wrap it ?
Hi Brett, we currently only offer the PLXL in three exterior color options: greywhite, silver and pearl. They can be seen on the PLXL model page here: pleasureway.com/plateau-xl/ As for wrapping it, we don't offer that right from the factory here, but it is a definite possibility to do your self afterwards. Thanks for watching!
That is the best camper in the whole world.
Do you have a option for a safe in the XLMB unit? Thank you
Unfortunately, we do not offer a safe in any of our units.
its beautiful.the bed is safe because there is no cabinet on the upper of the bed.
I want slide outs, why would you not enjoy that extra room ?
As the previous owner of many types of RV's during the past 40 plus years and repairing them slide outs are a pain. They add lots of weight and structural problems for the added space they provide. How much without having to call and talk with salesman?
love it
excellent
That's a really nice shower!
Dang, that is sweet!

whats the weight of this motor home?

Didn't know incandescent lights were dangerous. Maybe next video just say that they use less power or have a longer life
thank goodness no slides!
why not aluminum frame ? steel is so darn heavy. less weight = better MPG. which is the nut in a shell. and ya know will save at least 200 lbs. or will it save more. Great Rv. though. and I am for manual awnings . Dmm maybe I need to be a fabricator
How $$$ Much.
Hi +ichthus1890, There is a link in the description of the video that will take you to the Plateau XL model page on our website. At the top of that page you will find the MSRP. Thanks!
Link doesn't work.....
The link is working now, thanks for bringing that to our attention.
