Man, you've given me thoughts and months of upgrades to do! I just finished installing a folding shelf beside the bathroom sink on the shower side. There's no counter space in there. And those vent hoses? Great place for a mouse to enter like it happened to us. I installed wire mesh over the ends but LOVE your mod with the K&N filter. I also had a vent hose full of water when I was moving them around. Great job on the mods and thanks for sharing!
I think this was one of the first years they made the Vegas. It would be interesting to compare it to a more recent model to see if some of your issues, e.g. the cabin air filter, have been improved upon in the last ten years. I've never owned an RV, but I'm contemplating a Vegas 24.1 for full time RVing and making a tour of all the National Parks.
Nice videos! I have the exact same model as you. I watched all the other ones on vegas as well. I recently started having issue with water only trickles from the kitchen sink while bathroom sink, shower, and toilet have good water flow... When i turn the water pump on it works normally with bathroom area but with kitchen sink it goes on and off like as if there's blockage. Do you have any idea what it could be? Thanks in advance.
`I could talk for a week about the issues `I've had with my Vagas. Drives great! But the construct/workmanship....SUCKS. Plastic shavings/chips in water tank causes water stoppage in filter screen. Generator carburetor needed to be replaced (fuel vanishing) installed shutoff valve. etc.....
I have a mixed feelings about this unit. It's a great concept, but overall quality is mediocre. Plus the shower really sucks. If you're handy and ready to remedy various issues than, yes - indo recommend it. But if you want an RV that is worry free - then NO.
@@VladyslavSvyrydenko I don't think there is such thing as a "worry free" rv. I've spent the last year reviewing rv's and torn between the axis/vegas and a similar size class c. This and your other videos are great, sub'd. Thank you.
@@retiredandtripn4159 I agree there is no worry free RV. I own a 2016 Vegas 24.1 and enjoy it. Yes I have done repairs on it, some myself and others paid a professional. Upgrading the twin mattresses was one priority. Have used the extremely small shower but not often. You can go practically anywhere in these!! Fun to drive and I tow a Jeep Wrangler effortlessly even in the mountains.

I wish I had your smarts. I want an RV someday, but I’m intimidated by the fact that you need to be a plumber, electrician, mechanic, etc etc.
In that case, it's just easier to rent and enjoy the adventures without the cost of ownership

I ended up purchasing a 24.1, 😆 🤣. Have you been to any of the begas/axis meetups? There's an east coast and a west coast meetuo each year.
I hate when they don't care. And want to charge alot. It's like anything in life!!!
