Gosh, the start of this video reminded me that we need a couple of those blue water hose filters! I feared your channel got lost, so I had to hit 'all channels' to see you're still on my listing! Not sure if it's me or not, but I use to belong to many more RV full timers, many I don't see in my channel listing, so some must have changed their style of living perhaps? I REALLY have to catch up on you past video's, as although we still have our Tiffin Phaeton, we keep thinking it might be time to change it up, and 'try' a fifth wheel and truck, as we are 'part timers' and this year our rig has cost us a whole other of $$ as well. Just the way it goes I suppose, but thanks for sticking through the thick and thin of continuing your video's, as I see you put them out often, so I have a lot of catching up to do! Thanks so much!
Would love to see electric hack. Just a tip for anyone who wants it. When we were in Sioux Falls, SD, where it was extremely cold, we were told by the locals there not to use the camco heated water hose. They said that the end where the temp sensor is would break off. They said you should make your own. We didn't listen and wish we did. Just so happen, I walked back outside after I got off work one morning, and saw sparks coming from the end of it with water going everywhere. I immediately shut power to it off, probably saving us from a fire. The water hose was completely gone. We made our own that night. No further problems. They are a pain to make but worth making in the end.
I got two of the humidifiers you recommended last year and they have been great. While I was gone for 4 months my son emptied them. However, I also keep a Damp Rid in the pantry (a big area behind the TV and fireplace with lots of shelves), one on a curtain rod hanging over my shower (also where I can hang up wet items) and another in my bedroom closet over the Splindide W/D combo, they all filled up because the power was out during some hurricanes. I can see why you want them to run off of 12 volts. No power is no power.
Can the Jackery power a laptop? If so about how long would you get before it needed to be re-charged? Do you have the solar recharging one and how long does it take to recharge on a sunny day? Appreciate any information! Love your videos!
Amazon Prime day was the day before Hurricane Milton. I, for one, was moving all I owned up at least 3 feet and installing hurricane shutters as I prepared to evacuate.
At this point in time, I have 6 of this brand heated water-hoses that I keep connected all winter. Last year was my first year using these and they are wonderful!
Here is our solar video ua-cam.com/video/1L7VNrwHylY/v-deo.htmlsi=GJ9vu2anuZHWj-vw and here is our internet video ua-cam.com/video/VIbqFjbpj3s/v-deo.htmlsi=WbX_F8oynZyKRxkd We have some all new content coming soon!
Yes we want hacks!! When do you use the air vent fans. Air in, air out and for what purpose. Plus more info on dry desert areas. environment for those ruff vent/fans. PLEASE!
the boxed food containers with glue cardboard often will have bugs lay eggs and then the eggs hatch. always transfer to a better hermetically sealed container which also deters rodents. GOT IT?
The Camco Tastepure only filters to 20 microns. I've been informed that a filter needs to be down to 1 micron to catch brain-eating amoeba if they are present.
I purchased the AyaFato C01 Model based on the original attached link and the picture shown in the video. I knew right away it could not be the right one. It has a hard wired 120 household plug and no adapter. This new link is a Tabyik that comes with a power adapter.
Yes it might be the same types of videos they have already done however they are basically going over the ones they like and recommend because the 8th and 9th are prime deals with Amazon is basically why
Then move on...scroll past...quit complaining. There is a lot of newbies that find this interesting, as well as, more experience campers that welcome refresher.
At this season of life, both our kids are now high school freshman. They came to us last year and asked to please allow them a more “traditional” high school experience with social events like homecoming and proms. We’ve honored that by cutting back on travel to only when they have school breaks to allow them to be able have this kind of experience. We’ve got some really fun travel coming up and maybe you missed our travel episode a few weeks back?
@@GratefulGlamper well done! Not that you need anyone to tell you you’re doing a good job parenting, but that kind of decision is the most important and these years only happen once.
The fan is excellent. Works great

Can't seem to locate your dehumidifier. Any chance you can provide brand and model number. TIA. Love your channel.
They changed the model somewhat but it’s this one: amzn.to/3BzCPrH

You won't need a dehumidifier when you remove those pillows in your roof and use these for ventilation.
Hi. If you are a very part time RVer, do you still need to change the water filter every three months?
Hacks are good.
Love hacks
Did either of you attend the NRTVA schooling?
We did the home study course from the NRVTA
Those food containers are a great thing. They even keep possible rodents, that get into RVs sometimes, out of your food.
Very true!
Change water filters every 3 months? Is that for full time users or those who camp once/month for a few days? 🤷🏻♀️
For full timers
@@GratefulGlamper Whew! 😅
Can we have more storage ideas please charity
You got it!

Terrific, little known hack, running water through a filter. Never would’ve thought of that.

Love that you consider the kids needs, more important then traveling and homeschooling at this age, they need that socialization! Kudos to you all!❤
