Your locs are so gorgeous and I love watching them flourish !! I see a lot of similarities between your hair and mine and I enjoy watching your journey videos. Also- so happy you are representing for the “under 100 club” - I have 72 locs and I’m almost 2 months in 🥰.
I started on November 29, 2020 so kinda same time with you and I am also semi free forming. I must say your locs are GORGEOUS and I’m here for the journey. Love 💓 and light 💡 to you 😘
New sub here! I am glad I stumble cross your video. My hair is exactly like yours. I started out with two strand twist , 3/20/20. I have different sizes, the thicker ones are in the.back. I thought it was just me, cuz I have bumps & lumps just like yours. I am thinking it comes from starting with the 2 stand 🤷🏽♀️. Some of my locs in the front still have a curl pattern on the ends , but in the back most are seal now. I semi free form,bc I want my roots & edges to be thicker. Thank you for sharing! Keep sharing !❤️
I love your Locs. I started Oct.27 2021 and mines not nearly long as yours😭😅 I only twist once a month, so I quess I'll see some growth soon. I had alot of shrinkage😏 and it's taking it's time 😪😅 You are beautiful Sweetheart 😍
Lol Ik you meant Oct 2020. Coming up on a year in a few! I was surprised in the video, at how long my hir actually got cuz i rarely look at the back of my hair! I realize I hadn't had as much shrikage as most people do in their first year of having locs which is another factor of the uniqueness of loc journeys. Yours will grow nice and healthy, I'm sure Thanks for the compliment! ☺️
I went in to the shop and asked for a retwist i started with two strand twist this was going to be my first retwist but the the lady suggested to interlock my hair because a regular retwist will become undone quick can i still do a retwist later down the road or do i always got to interlock my hair now
Some people start interlocking and then later down the road they start retwisting their hair. It is definitely an option. I will say interlocking sometimes makes the locs look more skinny than retwisting so there may be a visible difference in the thickness of the loc if you decide to change your touch up maintenance method in the future

Your locs are gorgeous happy 9 months
Thank you!! 🙌🏾
I love your locs. I hope mine come out like yours. I have a high top fade tho so mine won’t be as full. But I definitely want them as thick as yours
Thank you! I think what made my locs the thickest was not retwisting
@@holisticflo ok I’m going to try that and see how they do. I’m still in the starter loc phase. I’m 2 months in
Healthy scalp, healthy locs💪🏾 Looking beautiful
Thank you so much!
