It’s a absolutely killer gun, I’m actually glad I had to wait and get a Ruger one because the Remington one didn’t have any of those cool features. Plus there are other features I forgot to mention. They really made a lot of upgrades to it.
Thank you, I look forward to when the whole room is further along and I can make a video showing off the entire gun wall or even gun room when it’s finished.
One more time I’m going serious to get one of this, I’m pretty sure that I’m able to wait if I need to (hopefully not too long, like 8 years 😩,dude!),thanks for sharing!
Thanks for commenting, my 8 year wait was brutal but it made me get the Ruger made one instead of the Remington made one so it was worth the wait. The Ruger made Marlin is so much nicer and has so many better features.
@takeNshots I've seen a bunch of videos about this new Marlin by Ruger and people saying only good things about it, I'm " in love " with this gun since I have seen it for a first time: you can see the quality even from video, so stay safe and good shooting!
From my observations Ruger did the Marlin name justice from the start. Even the harshest reviews I have seen have been neutral in tone. To be fair, Remington eventually got the quality of their Marlin products sorted out. We need a range session with some serious accuracy results for your new rifle uploaded now. Oh, and congrats on the purchase!
Thank you so much! I’m looking forward to when I finally get some range time with gun. One of the customers at our local shop has a place we shoot on his property. However he demolished his range because he is building a better one on a different side of his yard that is safer to shoot at. I’m just waiting to get a invite from him once he finishes it.
While I didn’t do any serious accuracy results, we did blow up some watermelons with the Ruger 1895 SBL today. Check out my Memorial Day video I just posted to see. :)
It’s worth every Penny even at the higher prices it costs over what it should. Check out my latest video as I shoot the 1895 sbl toward the end of the video which completely destroys watermelons. It was amazing!
@@nightrider5109 i definitely wanted to put a scope on it. Originally I wanted the sling and scope so it would match the Jurassic world gun. My wife bought me the sling years ago for it as a Christmas gift but I couldn’t find the gun for sale anywhere. The scope which wasn’t super cheap to begin with but was available has since stopped being produced. The prices shot up even more on them and now they are nowhere to be found. Considering how well I shot this yesterday with its stock sights I think I will keep these sights on there unless I find the same sight Jurassic world used for sale somewhere again at a decent price. The first one I saw was within the past 6 months or so and they wanted $2,400 for it. Then my shop was able to get mine which I got at a decent price. Literally the next week he was able to get another from a different gun distributor. The gun shop owners thinks that he likely won’t be offered anymore for a long time to come. Remington made the best Marlin lever guns!! All this false baloney about Remington made Marlins. The only less than perfect Remington Marlins were the ones when they were still using the leftover J.M. Marlin parts they inherited after they bought Marlin from J.M. After Remington started making all the lever gun parts themselves they made the best Marlin lever guns ever. Ruger put fluted bolts on a Marlin lever gun. Absolutely non authentic just to make Marlin their own. Ruger has also had problems with the bolts riding on the hammer throughout the whole rack cycle instead of just touching at the very beginning to cock the hammer. They are putting lousy ramped sights on their models and drilling wholes in the barrels to do this!! Do not buy a Ruger made Marlin. Find a new Remington made Marlin lever gun and you will not be disappointed!!
I completely agree with you as it’s something I hate seeing in videos too and yet at the same time it’s all too common for someone to assume something is unloaded when it’s not. One of my buddies about a year or so ago told me a story about his friend who was cleaning his unloaded gun and shot himself in the leg… turns out it wasn’t unloaded. Also one customer came into my local gun shop a couple years ago and accidentally shot a hole in the wall with the gun he brought in to sell that “wasn’t loaded”. So while I completely agree I hate seeing it in videos I put up with it as it’s always best to check if a firearm is loaded before handling. Even if you are already sure it is… check again. This is why when you go to gun shops to look at a gun in the case (which isn’t loaded) and the check it again before handing it to you and you should again before you try pulling the trigger. Just my thoughts too….
@@TheSteve2305 yes sir the more the merrier! I think I’m going to focus more on my gun channel here and spend less time on the paranormal channel. I’m trying to build this channel up and the gun community is a much better community of people than compared to the paranormal community.

they are available took me a month to find mine . i have the trapper model wich i think is better its shorter better skinner sights . i aslo turned mine into a ranger point percision model better trigger and upgrades although stock is fine . very well made rifle that will be in the family for years
Now that these guns are back in production they are becoming a bit more common. My local shop just received a Trapper in the other week and another shop down the road from me has a Trapper for sale too. I got to play with the Trapper a bit and I really like it. I like the sights better on the SBL but I like how compact the Trapper is being 3 inches shorter. The finish is prettier on the SBL but sadly it shows finger prints. The Trapper finish is nice too but doesn’t show prints which is nice. They both have good and bad things going for them. I guess it all depends if it will be more of a wall hanger or something you will shoot a bunch more. Either way you can’t go wrong with either purchase! :)
@TheDilweed I feel you there, I have many guns that I’ve had for many many years and still haven’t gotten around to shoot yet. I also have many that have only been shot once or twice. That’s likely the reasons I never really get around to putting nice scopes on my guns, I always plan to but instead I just end up buying more guns. That’s the curse of collecting them I guess. Lol
@TheDilweed oh wow yes I understand you there. My shop just got in a Henry case hardened 44mag a couple weeks ago that I was drooling over. Typically I would have jumped on it but I stupidly traded in my Spas 12 shotgun a couple years ago and the owner finally just agreed to sell it back to me after he acquired another one. They are so rare I couldn’t pass up on it. I’ll be paying off that layaway for what I’m sure will be eternity.
@TheDilweed that’s a good question…. I can’t recall if it did or not. I just remember being in awe from how beautiful the case hardening looked on it. It was the first case hardened Henry I ever recall seeing in the shop. I think the guy next to me there that day out it on layaway. I kept pushing for him to buy it as I would have been tempted to if he didn’t and the Spas is expensive enough alone!
@TheDilweed I’m not sure what msrp is for them but I think his was priced at $1,199. That would be on top of the $3,600 for the Spas….. sad thing is that’s a wicked deal he offered me to buy the spas back considering they often sell for $5,500 or more. Some around Christmas time we’re selling for over 7k!
What a nice gun now I want one, looks killer.

You should look at the Ruger Trapper then. It has the matte finish you want and is 3 inches shorter.
