- Doing a nightmare run using almost exclusively the two-handed greataxe. It has the super titan's grip which allows you to use two-handed weapons with one hand so I have equipped also the two-handed hammer for use during the super and to combo off their max abilities -- Watch live at / postal268

Your block game is on point! I suck at 2 hand blocking to the point that I waste my dashes to avoid the enraged swordsman guys 😑
Thank You! My secret is that I have all the attack patterns memorized so I begin anticipating the next swing before it shows. Only way to compensate for the slowness of the Greatsword. However the Greathammer and the Greataxe are good ones to practice with cause they move faster and it allows you to start getting in the muscle memory of using both hands together as one.
@@Postal268 Memorizing patterns for fate's end is a little saddening, but i am starting to pick up the greataxe quickly! Currently using it to speed through relaxed so i can upgrade.
I currently feel like that with the 2h axe still with the normal captains. Just kinda getting comfortable with the knights. But I guess it all comes down to practice :)
@@CakePrincessCelestia It may help to try doing normal weapons one-handed first and getting good at that. Idk if that will help but I feel like the reason I was able to pick up the 2h weapons as fast as I did (like within the first week of release) was just cause I was already playing the game on nightmare using only a single sword. All I had to do was get used to accounting for my other hand moving with my main hand and get used to the slower speeds.
@@Postal268 It's funny to read my old comment again... I managed to beat the 2nd boss fight first try with the 2h axe 2 days ago, got the hammer and yesterday I reached the last room with that thing before the final boss, only to get my plot handed to me on a silver plate (entering that room with 8/9 health and 6 combos) because I lost track of myself in my play area and was able to hit some furniture instead (nothing fatal luckily) of that charged captain who then took the golden chance to transform me into mincemeat at once XD
this game looks so good on pcvr, i only have a quest, and this look so much better!

Thank you, but I have much room for improvement. I need to be able to clear the levels without taking damage at all before I could say I'm the best. I'm gonna be so rusty when I finally get to play again though cause it's already been months trying to let my shoulders recover. My shoulders were messed up from work related over-use then I over used them playing way too much VR lol I've been seeing a chiropractor though so I'm working on getting back into the game.
You make it look like a walk in the park, only the last boss left the impression you had a hard time. That build is nice, and I'm still very far from being able to have it. The farthest I've gotten so far is 2nd last stage before the 2nd boss, and I dumped around 12h into the game so far. But it's great. So glad I snagged it during the Black Friday deals.
Thanks, I love analyzing game perks to find ways to stack them in the most broken ways possible and yeah, this is by far one of my favorite games of all time so I always tell everyone to try it. It really sucks I had to not play for most of this entire year cause I messed up my shoulders worse (they were already injured) Slowly trying to work up some strength though by playing only a single game here and there at lower difficulty taking things slow as to not over do it like I did back when I was uploading the videos. I way over did it early in the year, if I hadn't broken my nose I probably would have pushed myself even harder which would have been bad lol
ive looked around a bit and this is some of the best uyf content. your tone while playing is amazing. and man, that 3rd boss fight was so relatable. glad to see i’m not the only one who cant figure out those wonky projectile hitboxes. gg wp
Ty, I decided to make content cause I just absolutely love this game and I wanted to see if I could spread a little word of it and do my part to make it just a little more popular cause I want more of this game. Idc if it's DLC or a sequels, this is the best VR game so far to me.
@@Postal268 i hear the devs are waiting for the right time to release more content. they've said that additional campaigns will be behind a paywall and I am perfectly fine with that. I'm with you, my favorite vr game thus far. the mechanics are just so crisp!
I'm hoping for an endless mode. maybe a true rogue-like option - finding weapons and weapon upgrades from level 1.
@@Postal268 also since posting that comment I've figured out projectiles. you need to block with your hilt/guard, not the blade. gl hf!
@@ifauxq Oh, I never realized so thanks for telling me🤣yeah, I'd pay for the DLC, I'd love to see more to this game, but I was just in the steam forums for the games and the two-handed weapons were apparently poorly received by some people. Lotta hate for them, but I actually loved them and it was free DLC so not sure why people were complaining lol

19:07 I took Lethal Elegance when I tried playing with Fate's End. Is it not useful for it when it is adding multiplier for your combo count?
I didn't even think that we could equip and use two two-handed weapons together. This was a lot of fun to watch.
I was just trying to max out the dash damage as much as possible with the weapon choices here. With those big weapons you want to block as little as possible so by increasing the dash damage I was able to just start one stabbing all the little guys to reduce their numbers as quickly as possible. Also usually you see combo upgrades more often than dash (or at least it feels like it) Eventually I do plan to make a video for every weapon combination in the game.
In all my 50 hours of playtime, i never knew you could stab...
You can only do it with "Fate's End" cause of it's ability called CHARGE lol
I've never seen this stabbing while lunging and it also does health damage? Blocking is really
It's a skill on the "Fate's End" sword called CHARGE. Two-Handed Stabs with this Weapon while dashing deal 40% of your Dash Impact as Health Damage, bypassing Guard.
That's why I was supper happy to get Juggernaut as my first powerup cause it increases Dash Impact by 50%

I am running the game off my PC and using airlink to connect my quest 2 wirelessly to my PC. I can then use OBS to record the game and a video feed of my straight on the PC at the same time
Can you tell how you kinda managed to get these weapons?
When the weapons were added to the game I automatically had them unlocked for purchase but I assume they're unlocked the same as everything else. Each time you complete one of the 3 boss fights it unlocks a few more weapons so all weapons should be unlocked for purchase with aether once you have defeated the final boss.
