@@Nufyz👍🏼 nice, I tuned mine a few months ago… full akrapovic straight pipe, air filter,… made 95hp at the wheel. Pretty nice bike for a “daily driver”
@@stfu6397 hey I sold mine about a year and a half ago. It was a good beginner bike. It was a bit small for me since I am 6ft 4 but nonetheless it is a beautiful bike. I bought myself Suzuki GSXR 1000 k4 and I absolutely love it.
Suprised at how many people don’t know even the very basics of engine advertised numbers vs what hp/ tq it actually makes at the wheel . Not the crank. If something is advertised at 200hp for example, that’s at the CRANK , you will always lose some power by the time it actually gets to the wheels. A 200hp bike likely makes closer to 180-185 ish whp
The stated 95 hp is to the crank. Aka not real output hp to the rear wheel is actually closer to somewhere in the 80s after tune it is 92 to the rear wheel
Hey guys, about to get my bike tuned and all I see is 88hp from most tunes they've done. What are they not doing correct to get the actually power it so called 95hp it's meant to make. Really a reflash should get the full 95hp from factory and more once fine tuned. Can you help me with what they should be doing please
its always on the crank. not on the wheel. so its less than that, but its normal. thats how it works. anyway, almost 93 on the wheel like the bike in this video is awesome.
why people compare this sportsbike with zx6r and the likes. its not in the same category from price point and performance. This bike is more an all rounder sports bike or sport touring. You can use as daily ride and play with it on the highway..i maxed this bike to 237kmh which is sufficient on public roads. I used to ride an mt09 2016 and can confirm this bike is obviously less powerful but much more smother and comfortable at higher speeds.
94hp stock at the crankshaft 92hp here is at the wheel You’ve got to remember manufactures always state horsepower number at the crank, you’ve then got to account for drivetrain losses
@@DB-fn3fz any 1000 correct any 600 not even a comparison lol i will give it that it’s a torque monster compared to the other 600’s and it’s not 450 it’s 420
@@moosestanggang how can you call it a "torque monster" when it literally has less torque than the 600RR? Less power too (expectedly) and weighs 456lbs wet according to Honda. The 600RR weighs 22-46lbs less (non-ABS vs ABS), which is a MAJOR weight difference in this class of bike. Even the MT09 weighs only 414 lbs and it's got a much bigger engine. Honda needs to bring the weight down 25-30lbs minimum before they can consider this bike competitive in any real way. Riding posture and price are the only redeeming aspects of the bike imo.
I understand that it is ~`72 HP on the wheel, but the catalog motorcycle has 95 horses, why not provide such data ..... people base on what is given in the brochure and here it can be very confusing. How can you convert this data from 71 to this engine power, how much more is it?
Honda measures the HP with a perfectly built engine and at the crank of the engine. A lot of power is lost on the way to the wheel through your transmission, chain and such. If they gave the wheel HP then a lot of people would think the bikes are slower than bikes from other brands like kawasaki, thats why every brand gives the highest number possible.
Thhe 94HP are at the crank, directly from the engine. A lot of power is lost on the way to the back wheel through your transmission, clutch, chain etc. Most cbr650r's probably have 70-80 HP at the wheel, its different for every bike. Hope you understand
@@Kreakatar I understand that it is 71 HP on the wheel, but the catalog motorcycle has 95 horses, why not provide such data ..... people base on what is given in the brochure and here it can be very confusing.
@@TheMrPavlik because HP at the wheel is a lot harder to measure and varies from bike to bike. If you took the motor from 10 CBR650Rs and measured at the crank you would find the power to be close to spec with low variance. If you took the same 10 bikes and measured power at the wheel you would have very varied results. All due to what's between the motor and the wheel. Such as condition of gearbox, choice and quality of oil, condition of chain, tension of chain, clutch condition, lubrication of chain, condition of rear wheel bearing
@@Kreakatar I agree with you 100%, but I still think like other dynamometers show ... they give, for example, 2 data on wheels and power after conversion and losses
