How can we cook palak with dal together, palak hardly needs 5/10mins to cook , in cooker won't it be overcooked and loose all its taste and nutrition ???
i saw dal palak recipes of mung dal and tur dal which one is the best in taste?

Question. I have never used tamarind before. How do you prepare it before adding it to the pot? Do you just crush it?
You can dissolve tamarind in hot water for ten minutes. Then squish it with your fingers to separate everything and then filter it
no need to add tomatoes in palak dal
this recipe did not work. My lentils did not cook when boiled along with palak in pressure cooker.
Nidhi Agrawal tamarind slows down the cooking process of lentils. Try soaking the dal before hand or add the tamarind after the dal is cooked.
Put tamarind on top of leaves so that it ll boil properly
Add some peanut it inhance the test

This method isnt correct..Without onion and tomatoes, it doesn't work. .
