That was a really impressive and entetainig run. I never saw any 100 % runs before, but just realized this is a great way to relive all the old levels from my childhood, in a short time. I liked the way you used differnet weapons in perfect ways - like the railgun to smash multiplies enemies in line. Amazing stuff. I watched at 2x - wow, my head is a little spinny now.. hah. Good job.
Is it just me, or is the audio a few seconds behind the visual cues? Guns are fired but the sounds come in 5 seconds later. Someone tell me that you're having similar issues.

I would seriously remove from game files that sound ""computer updated"" -_- with so fast gameplay that sound poping up every few second start to be annoying.
He did not jump at 50:27 into the armor, so the message "You have found a secret." did not pop up. He misleads in the description "There is one map where you can only get 3/4 secrets because the last secret doesn't get flagged / counted." The last secret did count, look at 52:13, the message "You have found a secret." did pop up. The armor secret is where he failed at 50:27. Nonetheless very good speed run.
That secret isn't properly hooked in the map file so it doesn't get triggered as being found even if you pick up the armor. Try it yourself. The "last" secret being properly found has nothing to do with it.
I have tried the level again. Seems that you are right. My apologies. I thought that the software which you used to count the secrets and the time (that in the left of the screen, I do not know the name of it) did not count the secret, but the game itself did not count it. Played Quake 2 (100% completion) so much and still playing it today, but I have never knew that bug existed, although I know every other few. Still sad that I know now that because of the bug with the secret armor I have never really finish it 100%.

This game is a huge part of my childhood. I never had the CD music in though - but it's very atmospheric and dark without it.
There are some patches working with source ports of the game to enable music with no CD.
