I like the idea behind the gunplay in this game, making guns a wholly disposable resource. Low ammo caps, emphasis on dual-wielding, constantly needing to scavenge guns off bodies to meet the next gunfight...makes me wonder what a game in the modern age could do with a system like this.
4:57. Why is there a cow here? You know what, forget it. I'm not going to question this. It just feels so random and out of place for it to be here, lol.
Worst things are: -Definitely the crosshair placement, but that's probably because developers thought everyone would use auto aim and it helps to get headshots. -There's aim acceleration, making it very hard to do precise movements when there's someone close to you, on top of that I don't think the GameCube stick helps. -Weapon variety, we've already seen most of the weapons or all of them except the Omen-XR which shows at the end of the game. You end up always using P90 and Jackals. Best: -Dual wielding is really well done in this game, feels good to combo them and use them with the eye powers. -The traps can be fun to use. Same goes for human shields. -The Mag Rail. If you ignore that they just used the GoldenEye name to cash in and get used to the controls, I think it's pretty enjoyable. Not what I'd call a good game, though.
This game has some of the worst aiming I've ever felt in an FPS. As stated in the description, the acceleration is just plain bizarre. It feels horrible to play.
Never was a fan about the fact that you can save between in-mission loadings, but only on the first playthrough. To me, it kills the replay value a bit, especially when them levels are super long, for example this third one and was it the fifth one as well. Having to play all the stuff in one go which takes ages. Then if one fails... Unless one just makes a new profile each time.
This could have easily been a stealth level to spice things up. It's like they forgot villains are capable of stealth too, we call them assassins. Heck the whole point of this mission was to assassinate Dr. No. Heck they could have made it a sniper mission like how Hitman 2 has a sniper mode.
Hi Graslu00, I have a question I have been wondering after you beat the game, what is the next 007 game would you like to do next? I mean after this one, you have 007 Quantum of Solace, 007 Blood Stone, and.... 'sigh'.... 007 Legends. I don't know what do you think.
I have the PC port, it's shit. Poor framerate, poor controls (to the point that is unplayable), and overall the game isn't very good. I could get the 360 game too, but it's pretty much the same.
Nope, but this could be it lol. As fair as I know there's no difficulty difference aside of dying makes you reset the game, I didn't die in the playthrough.
Hmm, interestingly, the actual devs are EA Los Angeles, who originated the Medal of Honor series. I wouldn't have been surprised if this was the Agent Under Fire people though since this game is as loud, poorly audio balanced and weirdly lacking in blood as that was.
@@Graslu00 But, like...every version of NightFire...BOTH TWINE's...I don't...what? Why are they so selective? That and they clearly stopped giving a shit by the Activision games. Not to mention what is wrong with them, the blood doesn't even make it that-oh right, Perfect Dark still counted as an M rating out of nowhere despite only being as bloody as GoldenEye...actually less so cause it doesn't do the gunbarrel blood. Hang on, how DID Perfect Dark become an M rating when half the game is about ALIENS and there's LESS blood?
@@Graslu00 So that's why exactly we haven't seen blood since Goldeneye. I was actually wondering why exactly we never saw that improved upon since Goldeneye and...well, that makes sense.
Rogue Agent's Soundtrack is a hidden gem in the history of gaming. Paul Oakenfold bodied every single track.
@TheLatiosnlatias02 same

Isn't it awesome they got Christopher Lee to voice Francisco Scaramanga?

It's an Easter egg where you can find the golden gun at
I didn't even know it existed!
@Starscream91 no it didnt bro this game was so underrated
Respect to complete this mission under that time with that high Score you're very good
It's Graslu00 what do.you expect.

Triad leader: Goldfinger pays me well. But, Dr. No pays me better.

I've always liked asian-themed levels in games
ever played deus ex? there's a huge one in that gamde
I knew putting the Golden Gun in the game was a good idea
I didn't even know about that glitch till just now !
Luna: Do you still feel bad about 007?
This game has some of the worst aiming I've ever felt in an FPS. As stated in the description, the acceleration is just plain bizarre. It feels horrible to play.
33:13-33:26 Elliot Carver is probably pissed. 😂

The hardest 007 game, I loved it I was a teenager at the moment, but the mechanics was very interesting

Yeah, then ext one will be Quantum of Solace, followed by Blood Stone and finally Legends. I'm not looking forward to Legends.

Neighboring building? Sniping? Did sky fall rip from this?!
So the triads had mission to help us but betrayed us
Am I the only one to think that the doors's size are way too exagerated compared to the characters in this level ?
Very nice!!
I think that the enemy damage system is similar to agent under fire, but crappier...
Nice gameplay btw, thanks for uploading!
Hmm, interestingly, the actual devs are EA Los Angeles, who originated the Medal of Honor series. I wouldn't have been surprised if this was the Agent Under Fire people though since this game is as loud, poorly audio balanced and weirdly lacking in blood as that was.
The lack of blood is due to the censorship by MGM and Columbia. They added fees and censorship after the success of GoldenEye for the N64.
