Professional technical.
This is the Pickup truck Q Branch would give James Bond. It looks like a Hilux for a reason so it can sneak up on bad guys, yet if they figure out whom it is it’s armored to put up a fight.
So it’s a Toyota hilux with armor and a Cummins
purpose built you say. so you didnt just remove the toyota badge a the front?
cummins with an allison transmission! they created a monster! i want one!
Maybe find a truck with space to get the components in maybe even a toyota. The best option gor a private person you could armour it up somewhere im pretty shure.
Purpose built... To look suspiciously like a 7th gen hilux
Thats the point.
it looks like a hilux still ha
I can't see anyone other than CIA SAD or Delta using these.
The 8 bolt hubs and sandrail style rear swing arms would make me do a double take if I saw one of these in real life.
It better disguise military vehicle as something that terrorist will not expect. Luxury Saloon, Beater Car, Commercial box truck etc
sell this to the mexican police and military. perfect vehicle to fight the cartels
Get through the corruption first in the government to get them.
prefer toyota instead, not sure about its reliability
@eddie money +eddie money Oh the irony!
meanwile the "baddies" as are pulling up in Cybertrucks
So a technical is literally a nearly indestructible Toyota truck with some kind of weapons system bolted to it in someone's backyard. The truck is probably stolen, the gun probably as well, so it costs next to nothing.
That is it.
An American defense company takes this idea, spends $2mil on development for a system to bolt a machine gun unto an overengineered western pick up which will costs thousands to maintain, and sells it for tens of thousands a unit.
And it's actually bought because the company bribed some procurement guy and a senator.
This is why we lose.
It's just an armored pickup with a machine gun on top bro, not that deep
@@gael.7593 he’s right though. The over thinking is where western countries lose the hardest. Like he said you can procure Toyota Hilux trucks in bulk for next to nothing, then you retro fit it with your weapon systems and you’re good to go. That’s all that you really need to do. Instead the US govt pays Navistar to develop their own version of the Hilux with millions of dollars of R&D poured into it. Huge waste of money.
Good topic. The journalist however seems a touch rusty
I want one lol
Toyota are you seeing this shit.
This is the pickup truck a Taliban would get if he moved to Texas 😂
they stole my idea...
China is interested
