    This is the candidate I've been waiting for, a man with both ideas, and the guts to see them through. If you don't believe me, watch the videos in which he effortlessly takes on the right-wing pundits, never flinching, never treating them (or anyone else, for that matter), with anything less than complete respect, but remaining on point and convincing from the first minute to the last. Any donation to the Yang campaign is money well spent in my opinion. Nothing but good can come of it.

      If you're an American citizen, please talk about Yang to all your friends and friends and tell them to do the same. I'm from Brazil and am living in Brazil, but I always talk about Andrew to the people here. If USA put this amazing idea in practice, all the countries will do the same.
      If it doesn't work, all things will get more expensive and make things the same as before. But the results will be soon enough.
      I donated because I trust him and his big ideas.
      Thank you.

      This makes me wonder if the rest of democrats are trying so hard to lose or what. As yang said, how they ban fox from hosting debates? Are they afraid of the question or twist they’re going to ask? Why should a presidential candidate be afraid of any prospective voters. I think yang should call dnc and others more on this other than every single one of them except probably biden will only attack the other side including bernie.

    Yang's reason for taxing automation and giving it to the middle class is that it changes the dynamic between the middle class and automation. Currently, the middle class is competing against automation for work. If we tax automation and give it to the middle class, then automation works for the middle class.
    Instead of shuffling people to the ever receding edges of non-automated work, it's time to make automation work for them.

    • @KingBrandonm
      @KingBrandonm 5 років тому +1

      @Janet Baker it will only be $1000 in the early phase when it applies to everything. But the eventual point is to redistribute the wealth generated by automated labor to the People. He's always talking about taxing every Uber truck mile, Google search ad, and Amazon transaction. As the economy gets more automated, robots and AI will generate trillions in new revenue.

    • @KingBrandonm
      @KingBrandonm 5 років тому +2

      I'm a third generation truck driver, I make good money. But I'm aware that my job will be automated and I don't have any other marketable skills but trucking. I've known about the impending mass automation since I was 16. I tried learning coding but I can't grasp it.
      Think about trucking. If a small handful of big carriers go full autonomous in 7 years, they could eliminate paying countless thousands of drivers, and even more countless thousands of middle management and office workers. All they would need is the executives, computer programmers controlling the fleet, and the maintenance staff which would allow them to charge less for their services while making a larger profit margin. In trucking I believe driver pay alone accounts for 42% of all operating costs. Just eliminating the drivers, not counting their office support system will skyrocket profits so high for the Shareholders. Since they can charge less they can drive human centered companies out of business, and that's not even counting all the ancillary jobs that supports the trucking industry.

      Yang is not the only one who can do this, he is the only one that was crazy enough to try because there are far better people much more qualified than he is. The only reason you even know about him is that the mainstream media looks at him like he is a joke and they know he poses no threat to any of their preferred candidates. I don't believe Yang would be pushing for the UBI if he were not so unpopular because he is really just another ivy league school Washington wannabe that would be no different than what the mainstream media has been pushing for decades. He is not for the little guy, he is only pushing for UBI to appeal to the people because he knows that he needs to do something drastic to appeal to all the racists in this country who would never elect him just because he is of Asian descent. He knows if he won that he would never get UBI done and if he did it would not be doing anyone in this country any favors. People shouldn't be so gullible and need to stop voting for people that they don't understand. He is a politician and a smart one no doubt. But he is not here to do the people of this country right. He is here for himself and his family and if he were to win he would sell out on every promise he made like every other politician in history. Politicians all know right from wrong and know when they are screwing the people over but do it anyway. He will be no different and to believe otherwise is just your dream because it's not his goal to help you. It's his goal to help himself and that's how he was raised. He is just playing the game very smart and the people as usual are eating it up like the true morons that they are. Nothing will change for the better electing Yang to office and if he wins I'm going to have the pleasure of saying I told you so once again. He's giving people a $1000 UBI that will be worth $50 once all the companies raise their rates due to that UBI. That UBI will only work if they can prevent everyone from raising the cost of living and I don't hear him talking about ways to prevent that from happening. You think things are too expensive now just wait till he implements a UBI with no way of stopping people from raising the cost of their prices across the board. If he even tries to talk about controlling the price of things like rent he will be stopped immediately by Wall Street and smeared as unamerican and a Communist. He knows this which is why he doesn't talk about that part of it. He is only acting like the populist but he is far from that. Once he is elected it will be just like the Obama presidency where we saw Obama continue where Bush left off. No change for the people, it was all just lip service to get elected.

    ……we have to focus on fixing the system that is distorting and dehumanizing various people turning them into economic actors very very often. That is the mission that we all must be on and I’m going to say right now that mission will succeed or fail based upon the people here in New Hampshire that you all have this almost sacred trust to try and safeguard the rest of the country from this broken down system that is on the verge of pushing us off this precipice, but after which there will be no coming back and you can all feel it. The large profitable companies pay 0 taxes makes no sense. Their explanation is that they use the profit to invest in new business development which creates jobs and then those jobs pay taxes. Well, then why should anyone pay taxes? Anyone can use their earning to buy stuff right? This consumption creates jobs right? And these jobs pay taxes right? Total BS. Tax the shit out of the large corporates.

    • @dewaynethomas3122
      @dewaynethomas3122 5 років тому +6

      They also claim that monopolies bring innovation because if one company has all the money they will invest in new technology. It's absolutely fucking retarded. The funny thing is we give over 300 billion to Big Pharma for "research" even though they takes these grants, write them off on their taxes, and then charge us 2-10x more for life saving drugs. Yang is going to put an end to this shit, and I can not fucking wait.

    • @SolidAir54321
      @SolidAir54321 5 років тому +1

      The explanation doesn't work on another level, too. Investing in new business development is not what creates jobs. What creates jobs is demand for product. Companies will never hire more workers---no matter how much money they have---unless they know they can sell the additional product (at a profit) that the additional workers will create.
      The reason companies should pay taxes is because they make use of the socialized benefits of society. They get a pre-educated work force to draw from. If their business catches on fire the fire department comes to put it out. If their business gets robbed the police come to chase the thieves. Their business gets protected by the US military. They have access to the public legal system to settle any disputes. They get access to public roads so workers and customers can get to their business.

His wife needs to put him out to pasture, his son needs to learn to not use his fathers political clout as a selling point for a job opportunity to come his way, and the political activists who claim to be media need to stop covering up his slip ups and editing every speech so people can realize the misfortune they have brought upon themselves after buying into years of media manipulation and altered facts that has empowered Silicon Valley to censor opposition and silence a former sitting president, all while donating and involving themselves in our elections and pushing for a society where one point of view is permitted to exist and will be decided by some nameless, faceless “fact” checker. The government can’t improve life for anyone, nor should they be asked to as you will be beholden to them so you receive your check. Local and state government is the solution, as a progressive state can appease progressive voters through policy reform and a conservative state can appease conservatives the same way. As long as a political party in power demands the entire country function a certain way and care about the same issues, one half of the country will always be miserable. We deserve the freedom promised and right to life, liberty, and the chance to pursue our happiness, no more and no less.

    Money is power. Andrew Yang is trying to empower people by giving them money.

    • @arnoldkim5135
      @arnoldkim5135 5 років тому +1

      @Scrub annihilator you really don't understand how inflation works. Inflation occurs when money is devalued. Most common cause is printing more money not by giving people more spending power. Learn basic economy please.

    • @arnoldkim5135
      @arnoldkim5135 5 років тому

      @Scrub annihilator do you even know what inflation is? I don't think you know what you're talking about. Do you know hoe much the value of the companies like google or Anazon is evaluated at? The value of these companies have risen my trillions of dollars. How much federal income tax have they paid last year? Also, do you even know how value added tax works?

    • @arnoldkim5135
      @arnoldkim5135 5 років тому

      @Scrub annihilator you see, you are the problem of America today. "Oh, I'm afraid this will happen." So, you resist change. Go watch Milton Friedman on megative income tax. I'm sure you will fail to understand him but at least you will educate yourself from your moldy existance.

    • @christophervo3790
      @christophervo3790 5 років тому

      Scrub annihilator in yang’s response to that, that would not happen being that only happens with government subsidized housing. EVERY market is going to compete for that UBI, housing, food, gas, therefore they can not hike prices. Only government subsidies do that because the money can only be directed towards one thing, then they get to hike the prices (student tuition)

    • @dewaynethomas3122
      @dewaynethomas3122 5 років тому

      @Scrub annihilator Consider this, not everyone is going to get that money. Automation is going to reduce prices across the board on almost all goods. And now companies will have more consumers to make money from. Inflation doesn't quite work like it used to. More demand can now be handled better with bulk purchases, which is something factory owners love. And if you are wondering where the money will come from. The country creates 20 trillion dollars a year. We give over 300 billion to Big Pharma companies alone, they write it off on their taxes, and then charge us 2-10x more for their life saving medicine. He's going to fix that shit. There's plenty of money and much more waste in this country then any of us can really wrap our heads around.

    Being a stay at home parent and raising your child to be decent human beings have been undervalued. When you don't have money to raise your kids, people judge you. If your child grows up to be a turd because you were never home to raise your child, people judge you. Lets help all those stay at home parents who care about their children and raising them to be decent human beings for society. 1000 dollars for them will help stay at home parents tremendously. For those of you who may seem skeptic about his proposal, go to Joe Rogan's podcast with Yang in it. I didn't give into this idea either, at first, until I listened to Yang explain in depth about the UBI. Since then, my mind has opened and I actually understood his plan and it makes sense! I also agree with it. This man has a plan and he's not based on narratives or this war with trump and the shit show going on. He's to the point, to fix America's economy. Give him a chance, check him out on Ben Shapiro show or Joe Rogan podcast, he goes into details of this UBI that could really change your mindset. The media such as CNN and others don't cover him well and vaguely. ( and if they do, it's very brief and they purposely cut out the details in fear that THE PEOPLE WILL ACTUALLY GIVE IN ) BECAUSE the guy knows what he's talking about and he's very intelligent. But nooo "let's just keep him at Bay and give the spotlight to these others " They didn't even invite him to the mini-debate! Gee, I wonder why? After hearing his plan, Screw every other candidate, we need Yang! I don't know about you, but I'm tired of this trump shit, tired of three stooges AOC/NANCY P/ Omar spotlight, extr. We have lost focus on what America needs and what needs to get done because we have been so sucked into the media's ongoing narrative war causing a massive division in our own country. I believe Yang will unite the people. Already many trump voters have converted to the Yang Gang, even liberals, a mix of people because this guy has policies, ( But the Media won't talk about it) great policies and a core plan remove the foot on American's throat. AI will and is already taking over the basic American job. Yang specifies this heavily. I KNOW, it sounds crazy and too early to say. I get it that it also sounds like silly paranoia. I thought that too until I listened to this guy. However, look around you. It's already happening! Have you noticed Walmart's cashiers has decreased? In my town, there are now newer self check out systems which take up half of the cashier rows. There are only like 2-3 cashiers available maybe 3. It's insane and this happened 2 months ago? Truckers are going bye-bye soon too, self-driving trucks are on the way!. Don't believe me? Do your research. Check out Yang's website if you want to read his list of policies! it's worth looking into. Again, just give him a chance. It won't hurt you to just look into it.

      It's really impressive. He understands just how big of a change he's trying to execute and has a clear plan he can explain simply so we can all understand who he is and what he's running for. Plus he has obviously gone over almost all the major topics outside of his plan and decided his stance in advance. Can't wait to watch him debate and see how he reacts with other candidates.

    I love what this man stands for - people. His ideas are pragmatic and he seems flexible - driven by what people truly need, not what they fear.
    Most politicians push fear, not solutions or they try to vilify people that don't agree with them on this or that. And people need money and we need a voice. He offers voice.
    Let's find a middle ground that will allow us to move forward economically. We can sous out moral issues with the decisions we make in our daily lives.

    What I love about Andrew Yang is that he focus on the real issues and not on the identity politics. He addressed them when asked but he doesn’t spend a lot of time on it and he quickly focuses his attention on the economic issues and his solutions. I think that if the economy is working well for everyone I think those other issues will not be huge issues. I think they are issues that need to vibe addressed but not necessarily on a platform but through fair good policies.
