Just loving this. Getting lost in the hypnotic trance…. I’m old but it takes me back to the early days of TD and Klaus Schulze. In a good way. With a renewed energy and still unique sound. I keep listening to Memory Drift in a loop. Great stuff. Thank you.
This is by far, your best performance imo. Mesmerizing key changes, and the perfect blend of EDM and Berlin School. This is leagues above your previous best in every way. God, I’m going to listen to this so much.
It might happen eventually, or not...There's really not much to show, it's a small room, everything has been seen there in other videos and behind the camera it's a bit of a mess right now!
@@stateazure not a tour of the room per se, but a narrated run through of all the equipment, instruments, monitors, lightings, software etc. Would be cool!
I can dig this. In fact S.A. has inspired me to dust off my old keyboard, get a power cube and it still works. It's just a training keyboard, but I'm not a keyboard player...yet.
Who is born a KB player? It took me 22 years to reignite my passion for synths and keys in general. The last 18 I've been enjoying creating, practising, learning - Get "I dream of Wires" great doco on synths - But dont forget to play and enjoy. Sometimes we get so caught up in the tool/toy hardware synth that we lose sight of what its all about. We are so lucky today - I could never afford an Arp 2600 when they 1st came out - I just bought Behringers clone for Au$950!!! Enjoy
this was ascending...i can hear so many different "indications" from other artists in this piece, but youve gathered them to a new level. amazing stuff!
And you told me a Klaus Schulze tribute was very challenging. I heard the Schulze sound almost right away, and had to scroll to your notes to prove it. I think you've nailed it and how! Happy Friday and thank you for your beautiful music. As a personal note, I took my teenage daughter and her mates to see Kraftwerk 3-d a few weeks back - they where thrilled...
'Ole Audiophile to StateAzure: This is a wonderful track & I believe it's one of your best works. But I have to insert a proviso in there. A mind is a weird thing when listening. My mind has to be in the right state of perception to listen to this piece. If it glances off & I get distracted or lose focus, I know my heads wrong for some reason for now. But boy, when it sometimes just clicks into place when my mind is correct, this piece is really inventive & it takes me places. Sorta weird, I know but there's more to being a good listener than just sitting there. Thanx for being such a wonderful composer, sir.
This was a very superb performance and it was a joy watching the chord changes in action. Beautiful in every way. I aspire my own music after yours, so I hope that's okay... Cheers, friend!
Awesome as usual. Wondering how much of the presets that are predefined? I would personally not be able to improvise like this without having preselected a lot of the sounds beforehand and then jam with them but it seems like you do some improvs with that part also?
All the sounds were selected/created beforehand. I can't really start browsing and auditioning presets during a performance, otherwise there would be long pauses while I try to find something suitable, which is okay on a live stream, but not this.
@@stateazure Makes sense. I would do it the same way if i were to live stream today and i did something similar when i used to do audio live streams over services like shoutcast back in early 2000/2001. Is the key changes triggered by triggering scenes in Bitwig on the intech encoders? Not too familiar with what you can do with Bitwig for live setups - i have a license now but haven't dug into it yet properly.
Maravilla de la ingeniería electrónica aplicada a los sonidos, envolvente, ambiental, me recuerda mucho a Klaus Shultz y Tangerin Dream buen trabajo de laboratorio sonoro excelente para disfrute de los que aman este sonido...
I love this. I recognise some of the sounds that I am sure was used in the music for the mobile phone game Smash Hit. I know the author used analogue synths but not if he used modular synths. I just love anything Jarre-esque.
Cool set! Love the lead at around 00:16, what did you use for it, if I may ask? I see you got decibel running too. Are you displaying it on an iPad or something else? I'm using an old-ish iPad as a display for it and think it's really handy. Especially for live streams.
Hi Dorsia, it's made by StudioDesk, I think they're in Europe. Mine is a Commander V1, which they no longer make, but they sell a bunch of different styles, extremely high quality desks.
I still very much love this music, blessings to you!!! Love from a 76 year old lady, your creations make me so blissful!!

No words to describe this performance. Just keep them coming.
BRAVO! WELL DONE!!
Everyone has their own 'Tour de force' piece. IMHO, it seems State Azure has just created his own Tour de force. Mesmerising.
I had to hear it again after the live show. It was excellent for second listening also. Thank you so much for the experience!
love this stuff man. Good shit. Also, I'm super jealous of your studio 😂😂
Moving performance. Thank you. RIP Vangelis.
Fantastic composition to send through the Voyager probes further into the universe📡
is like a journey to the past...magnificent improvisation with asthonising sound and quality... with state azure time travelling is possible...
I love it!! In the style of Klaus Schulze, beautiful and so relaxing!!
Loving this sound. Great work.

Wow! Your whole vibe/setup is just so clean, and beautiful. Thank you!
Wow another great performance and a modern ambient masterpiece
Gorgeous work. It was very exciting!
I keep on playing this track on Spotify & also here on UA-cam. Continues to be a terrific sonic journey - some of your best work!
Glad you enjoy it!
There’s only one thing that’s missing on UA-cam, and that’s a studio tour from State Azure.

I bet you don't get all that many play thru's with a 36 minute plus piece but I've made this journey several times completely. Worth the effort!

Thanks so much. I feel your influences. How's about a cover of some thing a bit darker, say from Sorcerer or Thief? Just found.
Good work, very nice music ❤
Wonderful! Cheers :-)
Thx from 🇪🇸
It's too good !!!
Beautiful as always. One question, the screen on the right with the VU meters and scope, is that a DAW plugin or standalone hardware?
DAW plugin AND ios display, they talk over wi-fi. It's Decibel by Process Audio
Gives me hard Portal 2 vibes
HOLY FUCKING SHIT THIS TRACK IS AMAZING

I think it was just a strings patch in Omnisphere. I'm running Decibel on an Ipad too, Ipad Air 2, it's a cool app :)
