Love those TDE desktop enclosures. Opsix is on the shopping list to go with my Wavestate and the Cosmos is also on my shopping list. Incredible improv. Ambient music always seems better when it's an improv for some reason. Thanks for sharing your incredible music once again.
Another OUTSTANDING and inspiring piece of music, State Azur. I can't get enough of it! It's relaxing, it keeps my attention, there is variation in your music and beautiful structure. It takes great experience and competence to make such beautiful music. Thank you!
.....And a few days later Korg announces their own desktop enclosures. wah wah. Well at least you'll still have the bragging rights. Track is stellar as usual. Cheers.
I don't believe Korg are selling the rack mount enclosures though, so the only way to get the official ones would be to buy the synth again, so it's not really a solution for those who already own the synths. I'm doubtful Korg would even match the quality of the Tall Dog Electronics kits either, so I'm pretty happy with the enclousures. The rackmount option would have been nice though.
@@stateazure All true. Also cool to have done it yourself and have a more 'botique' instrument in the end ....but at the same time ....The irony. Kinda lol. ;) Cheers
Thanks, Martin. Seem to work together fine for me so far, although I kept things pretty basic here. I had to manually keep re-arming the two Korg tracks every time I wanted to play something though, which was quite annoying...I don't know if that's just a Bitwig issue or what though, it was a bit confusing.
Looks like a very practical idea. Patrick has said before that their keybeds aren't that great, so it makes sense to turn them into modules, save space, and play from a different keyboard.
Great work. Love the Opsix and specially the Wavestate sounds (I had a Korg Wavestation back in the day, and that thing was amazing). It catches my eye that you are using Push 3 with Bitwig. Are you using it standalone mode (as an external MIDI sequencer) and using Bitwig only as a "multitrack"? I'm a Bitwig user as well, I'm totally in love with it, but having a dedicated controller like Push would be great. Cheers!
Thank you! Sometimes I use the Push 3 in standalone mode, but in this case I'm using it through Bitwig. It works pretty well with the DrivenbyMoss script
@@stateazure DrivenbyMoss puts some major effort and amazing work for many years with his scripts, not just for new softs like Bitwig, but also older keys/controllers such as my Novation SL-MkII which good old Automap is no longer supported, but Moss breathed life back into, integrated with my Reaper DAW, and also he "Mossified" Nektar controllers with Bitwig.
Alaways a pleasure I like how ya moded the korg's , i know there's a kit for that , did ya used that ? Push 3 ? how is the inegration with bitwig ? thks for those prescious moments
Thanks! Yeah I just amended the description to show the kits I used. Push 3 seems fine so far, though I only used it in quite a basic way with Bitwig so far.
Yeah, too bad Korg took so long. Wouldn't have helped me though, since these are the full synths, not kits you can use to convert your existing Korg synths. The rackmount idea is nice though@@ZozillaThaGreat
Indeed , curious about the prices those mkii versions seems overpriced imho , by the out of topic but just got myself a syntakt , this thing deep , do you still have yours ? Do you know by any chance if we can use the fx track routing track from daw via usb and not analog in ?@@stateazure
Heeeyyy...those are the new desktop units?....was thinking of buying all three and racking them up just like that. Oh, love your music❤ Edit: or are they just modded out?
How often in your tracks does the H90 make an appearance? I was turned onto the early Eventides ever since 1979 when TD's Force Majeure came out. That awesome phasing/chorusing beginning to the album. I was like WTF is that effect?
Not very often unfortunately. My H90 lives there on my lounge desk, but not in my main studio where I do most of my work. In the studio I tend to use software more, including some Eventide software (Black Hole etc). It's too inconvenient to keep moving hardware pedals around, so the H90 stays put.
Can someone please explain what state azure is? A production company.? A community of electronic artists? Is music programmed and then left on its own. I've been an electric music fan for years, but this species baffles me. Thanks.
I have an entire State Azure ambient playlist going almost every night as I drive Lyft in the city.. meditation 🧘♀️
Brought a tear to a smoke filled snowy day.
These tracks help my brain stay just interested enough to stop the thought spirals but not so interested that i cant sleep. I love them all.
Your music is amazing. The textures on your tracks are so unique. Thank you for sharing and helping me relax and focus.
i can almost feel a freezing rain falling ;) everything covered in ice, very cool.
Love the textures in this... lots of really discrete layers all floating amongst one another.
this is so soothing, i love the ambient sets sooo much ! please never stop making them !
Beautiful atmosphere ❤ Alao like this aspect ratio for image!
What an absolute treat, lovely sounds and textures, so soothing. The overall audio quality is remarkable. Very inspiring stuff Pat, thank you.
Cheers man, thanks for listening :)
Oh my god!!! SA this was sublime, I so love your work mate. Cheers ;)
Beautiful. Melodic ambient chill, tranquil and dream-like. Love the modular Korgs - especially Wavestate. Considering owning one myself.
Yes sir!!!!! Another knockout soundscape brother.
WOAH !!!!!! Out of this world! Great work (as always)
Sometimes when I watch subbed anime I turn the sound off and put this kind of music on, its epic af.
I'm going to try it
'Yeah well when I listen to this I certainly don’t fucking think about watching anime alright so your just a little fucked up im betting.

marvellous as always, no other music channel has so many music textures, quality....

Really amazing stuff-- enjoyed relaxing to this as I got some otherwise mind numbing work done today, thanks!
Awesome, thanks for the share. I never miss your new stuff.
This is so beautifully epic . . .words are not enough.
@16:54 - if there is such a thing as zen, this must surely be it.
Ready for some awesome music!
Always love State Azure's work and this is no exception.
Thanks for sharing your improv - I really enjoyed it and it sounded incredible on the headphones. Cheers.
This is wonderful. Thank you my friend 💚

The H90 convinced me to get the H9000... Very nice my friend.
I love Eventide, amazing transformations.
Amazing music !

Great 38:06 spent with STATE AZURE !
Oooh, do I spot modded opsix and wavestate? what kit did you use?
They're from Tall Dog Electronics on kickstarter. I remember seeing his post about them on Facebook.
Tall Dog Electronics kits.
Looks like a very practical idea. Patrick has said before that their keybeds aren't that great, so it makes sense to turn them into modules, save space, and play from a different keyboard.
Korg have just announced their own desktop versions.
I saw that today. Took them long enough!@@maximummovementtheatre

so now that korg released desktop opsix versions will you still keep these with the new enclosures :.)?
Yeah I think these one look better, and much thinner.
👍
🙌
Are those wavestate and opsix desktop modules next to your notebook?
Yes, but not Korg desktops. The desktop enclosures are by Tall Dog Electronics.
@@stateazure I see. I have heard that Korg has just released desktop modules for the wavestate and opsix
