Ninja Gaiden 2 is like walking to work, and the second you open the door, BAM you get hit with a pipe. Then, when you take your lunch break, BAM the same guy beans you again with a spiked bat. Then, on your washroom time, the door gets kicked in and he shoots three explosive crossbow bolts straight into your crotch and then does an izuna drop on your body as you get juggled by the explosions. By this point you’ve had enough. You attack him when you leave for work, dodging his attack and breaking his arm. At which point, he screams wildly, leaps towards your throat, and kamikazes himself. And you do this EVERY SINGLE DAY.

My favourite Xbox 360 game bar none. No other game has ever made you feel like such a badass. The slowdown just adds to the drama - particularly the temple steps where the wind magic let you see scores of limbs dismembered at 5fps. Brilliant.
I remember that part was when I learned how useful the Wind Ninpo could actually be prior to that it just felt like an inferior version of the fire or black hole ninpo.

13:18 We did it boys we shamed Brit into never speaking the unholy name. I love how we went from, "Wow Brit is mentioning DMC a lot," to, "Haha there's that good old DMC mention!" to, "Why does Brit mention DMC in mysterious ways?" Eventually I think it'll reach full circle and there will be a person coming to the channel to the first time being like, "You could've mentioned DMC4 y'know..." It's gonna be great.
I mean, it wouldn't have been as grating before if he at least seemed self aware of how often he mentioned it until comments pointed it out to him. Joseph Anderson finds a way to mention Dark Souls in basically every video, but he turned it into a running joke, and actually used the comparisons to jump off into broader design topics. The way Brit talked about DMC a lot of the time made it seem like he just thought DMC was perfectly designed, and that every game should take notes from it. The way he mentioned it here in regards to main characters is far more tasteful, as he mentions it alongside other action games, and doesn't immediately imply that the way it does things is superior. If he writes the script properly, he can mention DMC as much as he wants, as long as it doesn't come across like he just wants everything to play like DMC, which was a view you might get after seeing some of his previous videos.
Yeah, but that review still was basically him repeatedly saying that he wanted it to be more like DMC and its similar brethren, completely disregarding the game's intentions of moving away from that type of design in certain key aspects. He then proceeded to make two or three videos basically ranting about how people should consider games like DMC and Bayonetta as the pinnacle of action game combat, completely disregarding design goals and developer intentions when designing different experiences. It is one thing to prefer a particular type of game design, and another to dismiss or downplay the positive aspects of different design styles and philosophies, which he got pretty close to doing during that whole spat.
They really really REAALLY need to make a "Definitive bundle" of these games. Imagine Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2 with the gore of the original's yet better zoomed out camera, extra bosses, better checkpoints, extra weapons/characters of Sigma (the difficulty changes dont really matter much at higher levels I finding they both still kick my ass, but I guess I prefer Sigma since I dont like the unblock able exploding shuriken spam in 2, granted I havent played that far yet [playing it now actually having beaten the orignal 2 a handful of times]) And just throw in Razor's Edge version of 3 for the hell of it. (of course all with a much better frame-rate)
There needs to be a remastered Trilogy for Switch and PC. Only thing I see Tecmo Koei pumping out are those copy-paste Warriors games and they seem to be selling well enough to be given sequels despite how mediocre those games are.
I remember having this game at our uni house. It kicked everyone's arses, mine included, with the sole exception being our mate Chungy. Watching him was just like watching a master at work. Where we struggled to keep our health bars from hitting zero, he was actually toying with the enemies and showing off to us. I think there's a relatively high barrier to entry for this game, which is why your description of Sigma sounds very appealing to me, but I can see how alluring and satisfying that high level play must be (albeit secondhand).
When this game came out, I hated it. I hated the flood of enemies, the new level hopping design, the ridiculous set pieces and the bullshit moments. Over time, it grew on me. However, the way you compared it to old NES games makes me...really kind of appreciate it in a way I never did. It seems like that's exactly what the developers were going for.
This just makes me sad at the fact we don't have any Ninja Gaiden 4 and we're unlikely to ever have it. I mean the pantheon of the genre is made of DMC3. Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden Black; and it's likely that Ninja Gaiden Black was the first I played out of these ones. I loved these games (still do). Here's hoping Nioh 2 is pretty good.
I think the fact that Koei keep shoving Ryu into crossover stuff means at some point or another there is going to be a Ninja Gaiden 4. It is a bit frustrating, though, that Team Ninja keep putting it off.
I think there will be a ninja gaiden 4 someday down the line, the question more is do we really even want it after how shit 3 was? Ni-oh is not gonna scratch that itch but id rather see team ninja expand upon that ip in their own way rather than desperately try to recreate ninja gaiden's success without the people that made it, well ninja gaiden.
@@qwertyMrJINX I don't see that happening to be honest. The team has lost faith in the franchise without Itagaki and Nioh has been their best selling game ever... Can't believe this game isn't backwards compatible yet, I would honestly buy a Xbox One X to play this game. Edit : Ninja Gaiden 2 was just announced to be backwards compatible! Never understood the flak this game gets for its graphics though. Unlike most games from the genre Ninja Gaiden 2 actually had dismemberment, blood and gore with dead bodies in the environment that often don't vanish, and far more enemies on screen than the most notable competition. Even though the game wasn't as polished as it should of been, the game still had more notable attention to detail going on than most.
Yeah, now THIS is an M-rated game. I just don't get why (aside from DmC) the Devil May Cry games have M ratings. There's some ketchup that spurts out of Dante's clothes sometimes, and that's about it. It isn't much more violent than, say... Shadow the Hedgehog. Lots of M-rated games seem to be rated M for no real reason at all.
You actually nailed this one on the fucking head man. Ninja Gaiden being my favorite series ever. It's so nice and gratifying seeing a series like this. Thank you.
I wouldn't be too hard on him but it would be good if he talked about it some more since I think master ninja would be the make or break difficulty for a lot of people.
A cool thing about NG2's difficulty setting was the fact that they didn't simply give every enemy more HP and damage, but they actually changed the enemies found on each level to higher tier ones and made the AI more relentless. In higher difficulties, even mini bosses would appear as normal enemies. They'd also give you less items and make every item in the shop more expensive. The game was pretty hard even on the lowest difficulty, and beating it on master ninja should be considered as one of the biggest challenges a gamer can strive for tbh.
@@peliparado94 to be fair, they did that in every Ninja Gaiden game except the original one in 2004. It wasn't just something NG2 did as the only game in the series (or even in the genre). That said, fantastic addition. Wish every game DID do this.
While I'm enclined to agree, playing Razor's Edge in chunks is great fun too (mostly the trials). Checkout some of ShowR18's stuff, once you know how to play that version it is a lot of fun. Vanilla 3 is ass though, don't go near it.
Yeah Razor's Edge was decent, but still nowhere near the level of NG2, it still felt very watered down in comparison. Vanilla NG3 is simply put, one of the most boring games i've ever played.
Razor’s Edge is still bullshit because it’s still the same NG3 with the same annoying bosses, but the difference it offers much more choice to the player and most importantly is both gory and fun as shit. I’m one of the unfortunate ones whose only played Ninja Gaiden Sigma & Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and even though I love Sigma 2, there’s no blood or gore, just that stupid ass purple mist you never completely get used to just learn to accept. In NG3: Razor’s Edge I got to go absolutely fucking nuts slaughtering my enemies in the most brutal ways I could conjure up and I enjoyed every single second. Never mind the bullshit story or annoying bosses, I was having too much fun slaughtering dudes and getting my ass kicked to care and the little nightmarish sections where you’re plagued by the Dragon Sword and you literally do nothing but cut down foes, I loved that.
well the first one is already backwards compatible on Xbox one, playing on the One X will get you 1920p at 60fps (960p on One/One S) and I could see this one getting the back compat treatment soon too. maybe even with an X patch, but even without it it should iron out the slowdown
@Awakened Virtue no, the emulator used for backwards compatibility plays games at 4x the resolution on Xbox One/S and 16x the original resolution on One X. Ninja Gaiden Black runs at 480p originally, 4x480p = 960p (x2 on each axis) 16x480p = 1920p (x4 on each axis) 4k would be 2160p, so it's close to 4k and you would probably not see much of a difference from normal viewing distances the emulator also adds 16xAF so textures look sharper at steep angles
Well, both versions are great imo due to its polishment, fun and balanced but at the same time tough challenge. I own both xbox and ps3 versions and all of them are great. The problem is that ninja gaiden sigma 2 is far superior than the vanilla version, there are rarely slowdowns, you can make more combos without using ninpos and kunais because of its "cheapness", the new bosses are great and fun (like the black dragon)... That's it.
It's not even backwards compatible on the Xbone. I've been waiting sooooo long to play it on my X1 with forced V-sync and AA but instead fucking Dante's Inferno was the latest "Action" game to be BC.
this game needs to become backwards compatible, the Xbox One or at least the X surely could iron out the slowdowns btw. did u know that the Vita version of Sigma 2 is uncensored? weird I know...
Like the vid and you describe the game well, but it always bothers me when a NG2 review doesn't mention or describe the unlockable difficulties. It seems to me that this review is based on a single Path of the Warrior run, which for a first play through is no walk in the park, but the difficulty skyrockets on Mentor and then some on Master Ninja. Anyway, nice to see a fresh review in 2018. Still play it to this day.
The game breaks on higher difficulties , while Ninja gaiden black just gets better, with new enemy types, and just the combat just pushing you more in a good way
NG2 is a masterpiece in it's own rights, I beat it countless times and haven't got the slightest idea of what the story is, and the game is riddled with cheap deaths and design mishaps, but it's simply unparalelled when it comes to sheer, intense, pure, over the top fucking hack n' slash action, it's the epitome of it's genre, it makes you feel like a god every time you beat even a small group of enemies. The fluidity of the combat againts a fast moving a relentless AI that simply doesn't hold back, almost requires that you enter in a state of trance in order to simply be able to advance through the level, filling you with a constant pump of adrenaline through the whole game. Sure, the Devil May Crys, God of Wars and Bayonetta's of today have polished the formula, the pacing and even the narrative of the games, but in terms of sheer fun, Ninja Gaiden 2 remains the best on the genre by far.
Okay, great video, I have a nearly irrelevant comment. Guys They put Izuna Drop in Nioh Also as it turns out they also put the world's favorite 4 seconds of invincibility, Izuna himself, in Nioh. hhehehiofdsdghsadoih I just had to tell someone.
When questioning the world you never asked the question that's always on my mind when demons are destroying everything: What are all the other DOA characters doing right now?
I think Yahtzee summed up the story the best for this game: ”Frankly, fuck you if you want a story. Here’s your story: Demons over there, KILL THEY ASS.” Always cracks me up.
Games that are goofy and too serious for their own good at times but don't or rarely show self awareness are just awesome, this Sonic or Ratchet and Clank, just something that takes it's self seriously even when it is ridiculous and would be shunned if it was anything other than a video game, we need more games that are trying less to be Game of Thrones and more Transformers
If Sonic wants comedy, it should be looking less to Teen Titans GO! for inspiration, and more towards Ninja Gaiden. That's the kind of... "comedy"... that would suit Sonic excellently.
This is a pretty accurate description of my NG2 experience! I would've loved though if you talked about the differences between NG2 and Sigma 2 on Master Ninja, because that's where these games get the most crazy (and the most different too.) I'd like to point out some things though: while it's nice to have a visual confirmation of the counter-attack technique in NG2, the truth is that it's a visual confirmation of a whiffed move, which means recovery frames, which then means vulnerability. So I would say it's actually a nerf, because the move being activable only on hit confirmation means 0f of you being punishable on whiff, which means it's always safer. Also, I'm pretty sure you can follow up a counter-attack with an izuna drop. At least, I remember doing it. Also, about the flying swallow, while it's also nice to have it performed anytime you want, I wouldn't say it's a substantial improvement. If that was implemented back in NGB, I think your hitrate wouldn't change much. FS only triggered if you were in its range. I think that's safe, because that way, you wouldn't be right in the face on an enemy while recovering from it. I get that you have a hard time judging the distance in NG, the low camera can make it hard indeed. I can agree to have a proper lock-on system for that move and have a color system that confirms whether or not you're in-range, but vets might say it's hand-holdy.
I remember fighting the two dragons with only a bow and arrow towards the middle of the game, and dying so many times I unlocked a 5 gamerscore achievement for dying a certain amount of times........... after getting that I knew the game was not fucking around. Loved it through so much rage and hatred, would replay it all over again, sadly copies of the game are hard to get a hold of these days and my 360 is no longer too functional either :( ah the days.
@@gnarkillguch it is man, very few used copies left on the amazon UK, had to go to this story in Reading(I live in London) to get a copy from the owner I was friends with and he told me it was one of the hardest games to get a hold of for someone, but I was really happy I got it.
@Fozzy W you just perfectly described my feelings when I was playing it, tell you what, the battle with the two turtles near the volcano, was the very first time I tossed my controller across the room cause of anger, and I used to make fun of people on youtube compilations for that, thinking I'd never do that despite whatever anger a game might cause, and there I was explaining to my parents why there were a billion pieces of plastic on the floor and why I no longer had two Xbox controllers. Itagaki be damned but also be praised cause the feeling I got after beating those TMNT pricks was sublime.
@Fozzy W DMC 3 was the shit bro, my favorite in the series, rivaled only by 4 and hopefully 5 when it comes out and I get my hands on it, shame we won't be seeing Ninja Gaiden 4 for a while, unpopular opinion here but, I really REALLY dug Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's edge, has the most amount of combos, weapons, animations and those obliteration techniques look beautiful and so satisfying each time to pull off, the whole NG trilogy is awesome(excluding vanilla 3 and oh god let's forget Yaiba, please let's just forget Yaiba)
I thought Ninja Gaiden 2 was decent when I played it, but I'm gonna lie this video makes me kinda wanna re-visit it despite some of the BS difficulty original 2 has.
@@Next-xm2dh Yeah, they're the worse part. You also have to blitz bosses like Zedonius and the like. If you let them get an inch, they just completely obliterate your health bar. It's kinda crazy.
The Best Ninja Gaiden analysis video I watched in years. Thank you GamingBritShow. I am new and I just subbed and turned on the bell for your amazing content. I'll happily share your channel to other gamers.
Changing the upgrade system actually affected gameplay a lot. There's a whole gameplay mechanic with essence where you get different orbs and different amount based on your actions, like doing an OT finisher will never give you red\blue essence and chaning UTs give you more. It doesn't really matter in Sigma 2 since your upgrades are free. Sigma 2 also fucked up the balance, first game was built around deadly but relatively weak enemies which can be killed in few hits. Sigma 2 reduced the enemy count and increased their health and damage breaking the original damage. Things got much worse in the Razor's Edge. Instakill grabs are probably the worst balance change ever, in NG2 on Master Ninja difficuly grabs will do about 25% of damage so missing a parry move for example is risky but viable. In Sigma 2 missing a parry can result in instakill grab for no good reason, so doing those moves is too risky. Oh, and Sigma 2 actually runs WORSE then original if there's same amount of enemies on screen. I can't really say it's subjective, Sigma 2 is clearly inferior version. Few QoL additions won't make up for all the retarded changes. The sad part, if we'll ever get the remaster it'll be Sigma 2 most likely.
13:45 OK! You get that glitched enemy, too. Every time that group of enemies showed up, one of them would be like that where it just slides upward and disappears to do it again. And it only has a hitbox when it reaches the peak of its altitude. Really sucks when you have to kill them all in the acid pools.
Itagaki later admitted and apologized that they didn't test the game as much as they should've. He was eager to leave Tecmo by the end of the quarter then. That resulted in.. well, jellyfish enemies and glitches remaining. You may want to check out an old Digital Foundry article comparing NGII to Sigma 2. The former did push the eDRAM and the 360's geometry rendering very hard, to the point where the resolution was IIRC 1152x585 (Sigma 2 was 720p). eDRAM emulation is hard and the game was CPU bound so I suspect that being the reason why we haven't seen it yet on the Xbox One BC list.
Yeah it's referencing the embarrassing thing that the new kratos actor said about the new game. "it's not a game script it's a script!" might of worded this bad but there you go. Funny stuff
still playing it ... i mostly play mission mode , sometimes I go and beat the story mode on master ninja difficulty , the game is soo good and one of the reasons that I bought a 360 , actually the main reason for me to buy a 360 was DOA4 , nevertheless , 10 years later I still find NG2 one of the best games in the genre, PS4 and XB1 came out and I didn't buy either , no more hardcore DOA game or even a NG game produced by Tomonobu Itagaki , I play on my PC and that's it . 2008 was the last year that some exclusive games on a specific console forces you to buy it and enjoy the experience , I just bought a 360 , didn't have any reason to buy PS3 . I bought ps2 to play socom and doa2 , original xbox for NG and doa3 and doa ultimate , ps1 for Syphon filter , resident evil , DOA 1 , Soul Blade .
I find it sad that you have to actively prevent yourself from mentioning or even comparing an action game to another action game that you love because people don't seem to understand that you are asking for a CERTAIN mechanic to take inspiration or try something other than what it went with. Mentioning DMC should never be viewed as bad and the fact that people roll their eyes is sad honestly. It doesn't matter how many times Brit does it, it's a fair comparison every time. That goes for God of Snore as well.(Just my opinion/a joke as far as that particular game, if you like that game more power to you) Great video Brit. I remember seeing people rip into this game(DarknesstheCurse) back in the day and it was mostly rambling about the sheer lack of balance and the laughable glitches. I'm definitely NOT a Ninja Gaiden fan by any means, but I can recognize ambition. This game really did try to throw everything at the wall and call itself the greatest action game ever...those were Itagaki's words. Not mine.
I haven't actually played any of the Ninja Gaiden games, but judging by the comments, the game seems to for something of a "High enemy count, low enemy health" approach.
Just beat the 360 Ninja Gaiden 2 for my first time and really enjoyed my time with it. This represents everything that a video game should be. Pure masterpiece
Oh I loved Ninja Gaiden 2 when I was 11, I needed edge games and I bought this one because the cover art was badass (still is) and I was not disappointed, even if it was hard as hell I still pushed forward because the blood explosions and gameplay were extremely satisfying, Chapter 8 is too hard though so I stopped playing, guess I will play it again when I have time. EDIT: I Sold my X360 2 years ago without playing NG2 again. Bought the NG Master Collection and just completed Sigma 2, fun but disappointing, definitely not on par with NG2. Such a shame that the OG NG2 will forever be trapped in one platform.
OMG I said the same thing back in 2008. It feels like SUCH a video game. No open world fluff, just straight up level to level non stop action. I miss playing video games. Now it feels like I have to wait to play a lot of them because of the excess.
I bought NG2 on release and kept playing it for months nonstop. How insanely hard it was and what load of fun I got out of it. I liked the linear maps more than the first game's Vigoor. Variety of places and situations was incredible. Switching from fighting a werewolf greater fiend and his wolf minions on FUCKIN COLLISEUM to attack a huge flying fortress flailing your Kusari-gama until you make it crash and explode along with a sado pornstar looking CIA agent chick!? Count me fucking in 😆💖
DUDE this game was my jam back in the day. There was just something so inherently fun about it that I couldn't pin down, like the entire game itself was just built around the idea of having fun.
This game is almost perfect. Just a few annoying sections and sucky enemy types. But the weapons and moves are unbelievable. Ryu is a death machine with cat like reflexes.
Hahah oh my god, and I thought DMC could look a bit hectic at times. The kinda lacking graphics, retro gamey sensibilities and _Venezia_ are all giving me such hard God Hand flasbacks that I'm incresingly getting the need to dive into these games, they look like a fun time if I can meet the difficulty half way

If he writes the script properly, he can mention DMC as much as he wants, as long as it doesn't come across like he just wants everything to play like DMC, which was a view you might get after seeing some of his previous videos.
He did, during the god of war review he was like “yeah yeah take a drink”
Honestly all games on the genre could be a bit more like DMC, just look at how Bayonetta suceeded as a new IP by basically copying DMC
They really really REAALLY need to make a "Definitive bundle" of these games.
Imagine Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2 with the gore of the original's yet better zoomed out camera, extra bosses, better checkpoints, extra weapons/characters of Sigma (the difficulty changes dont really matter much at higher levels I finding they both still kick my ass, but I guess I prefer Sigma since I dont like the unblock able exploding shuriken spam in 2, granted I havent played that far yet [playing it now actually having beaten the orignal 2 a handful of times])
And just throw in Razor's Edge version of 3 for the hell of it. (of course all with a much better frame-rate)
It has also REALLY needs to be on PC as well.
@@alexsieckmann6659 agreed
There needs to be a remastered Trilogy for Switch and PC.
Only thing I see Tecmo Koei pumping out are those copy-paste Warriors games and they seem to be selling well enough to be given sequels despite how mediocre those games are.
just fuck Ninja Gaiden 3
If I could just play NG2 in TRUE 60FPS with no framedrops or slowdown, and 1080p, thats a fucking dream come true.
I want to mention that Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive share the same universe.
And also Nioh since Ryu's ancestor makes a cameo appearance.
that explains the jiggle physics
I never understood how Kasumi’s the main star of the series, while having little presence in NG.
Yes, that comparison definitely improves my opinion on it.
This is a very funny way to spell Code Veronica, the SEGA exclusive only on Dreamcast
Road to the rocket launcher when?!
You saying it’s better than Code Veronica X? How so exactly, I thought X only made it better.
@@qwertyMrJINX What crossover stuff? Ryu has been in DoA since DoA1.
@@qwertyMrJINX I don't see that happening to be honest. The team has lost faith in the franchise without Itagaki and Nioh has been their best selling game ever... I doubt they'll come back to being niche just for us. Hope you're right though, the DLC in Nioh is proof that they've at least thought about it.

*This game was so fun! But I did enjoy the multiplayer in NG3. They should make these backwards compatible* ✅🙂
They are
Black and 2 are backwards compatible on Xbox.
Sadly they didn’t include online play in ng3re cause I started playing it when the online died which made no sense
No coop for sigma 2 and no coop, ninja trails as your guy, or clan battles.. hopefully ng4 comes out in a few years
They do, and they run better on othe xbox consoles. Next to no slowdown
Edit: Ninja Gaiden 2 was just now announced to be backwards compatible
Here's to hoping that the success of dmc5 will bring a resurgence in mechanically deep character action games
You actually nailed this one on the fucking head man. Ninja Gaiden being my favorite series ever. It's so nice and gratifying seeing a series like this. Thank you.
You can be the Ninja Gaiden guy when you finally beat these games on Master Ninja mode.
So weird that he covers these games but never even touched the mode they are supposed to be played on.
@@DeathtoRaiden1 Shame.

It's so sad that this was the last Ninja Gaiden game.
@@peliparado94 I actually prefer Razor's Edge over the vanilla NG2 on 360. But yeah normal Ninja Gaiden 3 was a steaming load of shit.
U mean last great Ninja Gaiden game
Those games NEED to be on PC. We don't want to buy an original Xbox/Xbox 360 for just one game.
well the first one is already backwards compatible on Xbox one, playing on the One X will get you 1920p at 60fps (960p on One/One S)
and I could see this one getting the back compat treatment soon too. maybe even with an X patch, but even without it it should iron out the slowdown
If only we had a good Xbox Emulator (on pc) @@kevboard
@@thechugg4372 There is a Xbox 360 emulator, Xenia. However, I don't think it can run Ninja Gaiden 2 yet.
@Awakened Virtue no, the emulator used for backwards compatibility plays games at 4x the resolution on Xbox One/S and 16x the original resolution on One X.
Ninja Gaiden Black runs at 480p originally,
4x480p = 960p (x2 on each axis)
16x480p = 1920p (x4 on each axis)
4k would be 2160p, so it's close to 4k and you would probably not see much of a difference from normal viewing distances
the emulator also adds 16xAF so textures look sharper at steep angles
Yeah but nobody wants to buy an xboner
Also Ninja Gaiden II Sigma only happened because the director for the first two games, Tomonobu Itagaki left the studio :/
That's it.
@miguelprats3753 Everything is fine until the highest difficulty then you see how unbalanced it is
The fact that this game is not on pc is a war crime.
And the lack of a new game
@The Defyer Sadly Xbox emulators suck at the time

Funny you should mention that...
The game breaks on higher difficulties , while Ninja gaiden black just gets better, with new enemy types, and just the combat just pushing you more in a good way
Sky rockets on mentor? No skyrockets on master ninja lol
NINJA GAIDEN II... One of the GREATEST games ever made!!!!!!
This is the greatest action game of all time. Still waiting for tecmo koei to release a pc collection version

watch this video on 2x speed for REAL COCAIN NINJA EXPERIENCE!!!
@@Lugbzurg I mean the older Sonic games like Sonic Unleashed, not Sonic Colors
This is a pretty accurate description of my NG2 experience! I would've loved though if you talked about the differences between NG2 and Sigma 2 on Master Ninja, because that's where these games get the most crazy (and the most different too.)
I'd like to point out some things though: while it's nice to have a visual confirmation of the counter-attack technique in NG2, the truth is that it's a visual confirmation of a whiffed move, which means recovery frames, which then means vulnerability.
Lol Itagaki was a troll with those achievments
Is it really that rare? I picked up a copy the other day from gamestop for like $8.

"If cocain was playable, this would be it" LMAO
NG1 Ryu: I’m not superhuman, just badass.
NG2: ..............
