Hi I’ve just subscribed to your channel as I’ve just purchased a berghaus air 400 tent I’m yet to go out in it but can I ask where did you camp for this video it looks so quiet and lovely scenery. Regards steve
Love the vids. I have same tent but with yellow strip when i let beams down i take shoes off and walk across beams so all air goes out pack away no prob. Also in my tent at the bottom of bedrom door is a little pocket to put doors in when open
Thank you 🙂 I try not to walk on the beams, as I've seen so many with burst ones 😬, but definitely an option if I'm in a hurry. I'll have another look for pockets, hopefully I've just missed them, that would be good! They are lovely tents aren't they ☺️
Very good and as was many years before having a caravan, then small small motor van loved the tent , Ours were Andre Jamet varying in size as family grew and then diminished. So found very interesting- ease I do think anything in it but you do not have the weight of the metal poles. Your demonstration and chat would have been most helpful in our day, ended up colour coding the fame parts making life more simple. No better form of freedom holiday. Have tons of fun Grandma
You had such a lovely time with your tents, caravans and campers didn't you 🙂 I'm very glad that you're enjoying armchair adventures now with Oti and I! Xx
I have the air 400 xl and if you remember to pack the tent towards the air valves to express Air as in diagram it goes in the bag with out much effort. :-}
Hi! I roll it towards the valves, but the only way I've found that actually works is to leave the rent for 20 minutes to half an hour between letting down and packing away, which I did this time as I'd put it up at home to dry out 🙂
do you have any tips on keeping the side door bit inflated ? everytime i inflate it, it deflates after a while. There are no holes or anything but im not sure if im doing something wrong with the valve
Ah, I had this happen about the 4th time of use. I unscrewed the valve completely and put it back in, it hasn't done it since - I also find I have to be really careful not to cross thread the cap?
Hi, great review! Now looking to buy one, but do you happen to know the dimensions of the sleeping compartment? I can't find it online and worried it won't be big enough. Thanks!
Hi, thank you! I'm afraid that I don't know the dimensions, and won't put it up for another couple of months to measure - I'll have a look at the bag tomorrow though, to see if it mentions them 🙂
Really not an issue! I’ve got the broad measurements now. Does the partition open up fully inside to create one large sleeping space? Looks like it does in your vid.
I used mine for the first time this weekend but I was shocked how wrinkled mine was. When I set it up, but I see yours is too, have the wrinkles gone as you have used it? All my other tents never had this?
Hi! I love my Vango Shangri la inflatable sim, not the cheapest but well worth it. I have it on top of a Go Outdoors basic fold out camp bed - I get on really well with it, but can never get both aluminum ends in so one sits under the side rails 😁
Please peg guy ropes out individual not bunched together because individually this keeps the tent more ridged apart and more stable in bad weather. also doors fit and zip easier.
A really helpful review. After looking at so many tents, I've now decided on this. Thank you.
You're very welcome, I'm really glad that it helped you decide 🙂
Loving your videos , so useful. Love your gorgeous little sweetheart Oti too xxx
Great review, seems like the tent for me.
That's excellent, enjoy!
Great review.. Just bought mine and looking forward to spring
Thank you, and roll on Spring!
I ho[e you enjoy it as much as I do mine 🙂

Do you think the XL has perhaps a more generous bag?

Yes, the middle black partition unhooks nice and easily 🙂
Brill, thank you!!

Most of the wrinkles have gone, but I've found this a bit with the lighter tents compared to my older traditional ones 🙂
Hi, can i ask which camp bed would you recommend? Thanks

Shared to my Facebook group for you 😃
Perfect, thank you very much!
Just for info, the double zip on the doors is a safety feature for children. It ensures the zip is always within reach.
Ah, thank you!
I was used to a double zip that went either way before, so could be left at the top or bottom 🙂
Please peg guy ropes out individual not bunched together because individually this keeps the tent more ridged apart and more stable in bad weather. also doors fit and zip easier.
Thank you, but all just fine 🙂
