- Gen 3 time! Steven Stone is my favourite champion battle and theme out of all of the games, so I was very excited to do an epic version of his battle theme music! I'm going to be doing a lot more of Ruby, Sapphire & Emerald in the near future since it's my favourite generation!

I LOVE how you kept the very beginning of the song sharp like an alarm or warning sound. People always miss that when doing remixes of this one, and even gamefreak watered it down a bit in the remake. Part of the reason I love this theme so much is because the beginning is supposed to scare the crap out of you haha. Your remixes are absolutely amazing

With this theme belonging to my very first Pokemon champion it's nostalgic to hear remasters of it because this theme ROCKS (Because Steven's team is half rock)

Hearing this song, fighting Steven for the first time, underleveled af. What a trip. Then he brought out the Meteor Mash and sent me packing. 😵
Defeated this guy yesterday morning. The battle was actually easy, despite him being stronger than Cynthia... how is that possible?
He has more of an unbalanced team, using steel types, some rock types and a ground type. For me he was still difficult despite this because I was severely under leveled (OrAs)
yeah, the metagross or the sturdy surprises are basically the whole fight if you're going blind
Unfortunately the rest of the team feels very generic and would almost be an elite4 team if it wasn't for the triple sturdy troll which is the only thing preventing a Gyarados to obliterate everything as if it didn't counter/check the entire team including metagross already. If you're willing to use two potions to heal up before and after aggron though he can literally just stay there and 1v6, maybe making a double switch in the end with a growlithe, luxio or hitmontop to double intimidate and try to bait out the psy attack for extra fun points or just any intimidater to throw at megagross given the complete resistance that mega gyarados has against gross anyways.
That sort of simplistic 1v6/1.1v6 strat is what you usually find against e4 members, not champs
