In this video I show you how to remove the turbocharger and boost control solenoid from the 2006 toyota hilux 1kd engine.
was code P0045 when start the car no power engine even can't accelerate
it broken solenoid inside magnet that why getting p0045.
no need to replace whole turbo. you can get it after market just solenoid only .

I kept getting the same code and just replaced the actuarator that did the trick looking like the actuarator was the issue not the turbo

Hey, I’ve got the same issue on my hilux. Ivr pulled the solenoid off and the magnets are fine but the armature is wobbly, is this my fault? Or is that relatively normal. Cheers

I’ve replaced the turbo en all in mine but now it’s showing that ( throttle open switch =OFF) when I check the status of everything on a diagnostic tool…someone plz help🙏

@@rrea1 What’s the code you’re getting?
Did you check with a multimeter and saw there’s no power?
To test without ignition, you can connect the wires and actuate it via Techstream software and a mini VCI adapter
