A few questions: - how much space should i account for this? - what if after i install my LVP, the tile side of the floor is still about 1/8 of an inch or so higher?
Poorly placed. It should be moved under the door and corners notched so it's less visible when the door is closed. This strip looks like the exact width of the door so it would have looked much better from both sides to place it directly under the door itself when in the closed position.
