Thinking everyone is against you while simultaneously reminiscing about getting $100+ dollars from 14 people is astounding. I don't think most of us could even get one person to loan that.
If you place the $ before the number then you’ve already said dollar(s). Saying dollars after that is redundant. Just thought I’d point that out for future reference. Also, I agree with what you stated.
The fact that she could ask 14 people for a hundred dollars and they actually gave it to her is the greatest example of "female privilege" I've ever seen. Yknow what would happen to me as a man if i asked anyone other than my 1 good friend for even like 50$?! 🤣🤣🤣

Victim mentality is half of the issue. The other half is speaking in absolutes, like saying EVERY man is misogynistic. Also after fully watching, the hypocrisy is crazy
Exactly. They try to say all men are misogynistic and all white men are racist. Grouping one race or gender together is not only ignorant, but it’s hateful.
I honestly believe a large part of her victim mentality is her really low self-esteem. She verbalized multiple instances where it's clear men aren't being sexist toward her. She gives a couple of examples of how these people helped and showed that they care about her; yet at the end of her story she always comes to the conclusion that these people don't actually like her and secretly want to see her downfall. I think she has a victim mentality that's exacerbated by the fact that she probably doesn't feel she is good enough herself. She needs to quit internalizing racism so much and stop damaging the personal/work relationships she has with her peers.
Nailed it. It feels like she's trying to prove herself at every turn. She's reading so much into situations (misogyny) when it's simply her own behavior causing people to dislike her.
Taking money and not paying them back, showing up unannounced messing up people's schedules without any consideration just because it was done to you and expecting people to be friendly after that is delusional. How are her female peers now supposed to act knowing what she thinks of them? Some people dig their own grave and throw the blame on others.
Don't disrespect that animal like that!! she looks like if the predator had a with whoopy golberg that used a female gorilla as a womb to carry her for 9months.
The fact that she acts like she's doing everybody and the club a favor by having the great Leslie Jones of SNL perform and bump spots, shows just how delusional she actually is.

@@radgoncan It means the club had a schedule of comedians that were going to go on that night around certain times. Then Leslie came in and went on stage without being on the schedule, which causes other comics to do their sets late or even not do them at all.

Everybody's got a hundred dollars... to give to Leslie. Because surely no comedian has ever struggled as much as Leslie has. Must be nice to have a circle of people around you that just give you $1400+ when prompted so that they can pay for your rent for the month.
Leslie ought to be filed under the same troupe Katt Williams called out. Leslie and Tiffany Haddish, and company. Both got the call to do the loud black female role, overplayed it, and now not as useful to industry. Also, both obnoxiously chase/lust after men who are highly out of their league (or in a completely different league 🤣).
Tiffany haddish is AWFUL .. I mean AWFUL at standup. Had the misfortune of seeing her at the comedy store my god. Just pandering and I’m a female victim and bs bs no jokes
Her logic makes no sense. She says Bobby is just complimenting her because shes a woman, even though he is directly comparing her performance to his, a man’s, performance. Literally nothing to do with gender until she brings it up
According to her, Chappelle and Rock do it and everyone's cool with it, because they've reached that level (not because of their genitals). Then she mentions that she isn't comparing herself to their legendary status but still wants that treatment. Doing SNL really did a number on her mind. She thinks she is a big-shot when in fact she was a part of a cast in a variety show.
I think that whole part of the comedy meritocracy, where the more successful, established comedians come into a club, expect to go on stage immediately, and then stay on stage for longer than the usual 15 min (or worse, staying onstage for an hour or more), is such an awful practice. Most of the time, those lesser known performers that have busted their asses to earn that spot, and rely on doing those to improve their act to get to a point where they can make a livable wage from it. Sure, the occasional drop in set from a big name can be a positive for everyone involved. Crowd loves it, club loves the novelty of it, and even the performers who get bumped can learn from it & push themselves to rise to that level with an energized crowd, so in those instances, it’s a win. The opposite of that is those who do it frequently, don’t give the club a heads up, and could care less about the comics they bump, to the point of being inconsiderate in every way possible. Luckily, most clubs have decided to stop that shit, or now have rules in place to limit the frequently inconsiderate offenders who still think that’s ok. Some big names would never even think of doing it, and I’m always glad to hear them speak out against it.
@@cleech74 When the A list, top tier comedians like Chappelle, Rock or Burr do it though, it doesn't just help on the night/s they perform at the club, it helps every other night of the year, as many more people will attend that club if they think there's a chance that such a top star might show up any given time

The thing is, nobody wants to be around someone like this. Like every time you give them a compliment it turns into a rant and or lecture. Imagine dealing with that all the time.
“I asked people I know for money”
“Wow, that’s so smart” 😂
The fact that she could ask 14 people for a hundred dollars and they actually gave it to her is the greatest example of "female privilege" I've ever seen. Yknow what would happen to me as a man if i asked anyone other than my 1 good friend for even like 50$?! 🤣🤣🤣
She checks off two boxes: female and POC.
So she gets double back pats for existing.
I never heard from her beside her role in Ghostbusters....and that was very annoying and unfunny! I wish her all the best but it´s just not my type of cake!
And then to say "I never ask for money back from people" 😅, I've been that cheapskate that's said that and it's definitely bullshit.
Right?!? I feel like I am very blessed with close friends that would lend me money I have like 3 and I wouldn't even consider asking
they’d probably loan it to you dude. i’ve asked people for money before, like coworkers I just make sure to always pay them back as soon as I get the money.
The fact she includes her name in the same breath as Dave Chappelle or even Dane Cook is a laugh.
The other issue is she's about as funny as rectal cancer

Shhhh….we’re trying to pretend that didn’t happen.
She?
I didnt know Biggie Smalls was trans.
She seems to think people don't like her because she's a black woman, not because she's extremely self-centered.
Accountability = kryptonite
Exactly 💯
Nailed it. It feels like she's trying to prove herself at every turn. She's reading so much into situations (misogyny) when it's simply her own behavior causing people to dislike her.
I could see that. This comment makes me hate her a bit less.
Taking money and not paying them back, showing up unannounced messing up people's schedules without any consideration just because it was done to you and expecting people to be friendly after that is delusional. How are her female peers now supposed to act knowing what she thinks of them? Some people dig their own grave and throw the blame on others.

The fact that she acts like she's doing everybody and the club a favor by having the great Leslie Jones of SNL perform and bump spots, shows just how delusional she actually is.

Everybody's got a hundred dollars... to give to Leslie. Because surely no comedian has ever struggled as much as Leslie has. Must be nice to have a circle of people around you that just give you $1400+ when prompted so that they can pay for your rent for the month.

She is high in testosterone
According to her, Chappelle and Rock do it and everyone's cool with it, because they've reached that level (not because of their genitals). Then she mentions that she isn't comparing herself to their legendary status but still wants that treatment. Doing SNL really did a number on her mind. She thinks she is a big-shot when in fact she was a part of a cast in a variety show.
It’s funny because comedy is a meritocracy. You can’t force people to buy tickets or laugh. That is all on her.
@@cleech74 When the A list, top tier comedians like Chappelle, Rock or Burr do it though, it doesn't just help on the night/s they perform at the club, it helps every other night of the year, as many more people will attend that club if they think there's a chance that such a top star might show up any given time
Leslie, on the other hand, would have worse than the exact opposite effect, as her surprise drop ins would not only drive patrons away indefinitely, because of her terrible party-pooping presence, it'd also drive talent away for the same reason

Leslie Jones has been known to be awful for a very long time. She only got where she is because of her gender and race, proving how awful that criteria is.
They needed a big black woman on SNL. she checked the boxes. She not funny.

Something that bums me out about humanity sometimes is how people like this manage to be this way and still become successful and have people around them. She’s in such a weird trap: her point to Bobby’s non-gender specific compliment about killing it as a comedian was met with - that’s only interesting because I’m a woman. So she’s saying if more women dropped being female first and just were comics first when on stage they’d do better. But she also can’t divorce the women label from herself either 🤦🏻♂️. For god’s sake - we’ll all benefit when people are treated as people first and genders/races/sexual orientations second!!
She’s rich. That’s the issue. No one around her is going to tell her *maybe you should change your mindset* because then they’d get fired
