Most of our wildlife is small, and Cats, Foxes, Feral Pigs and Cane Toads have put enormous pressure on them. Larger species have suffered catastrophic habitat loss to farmland and pasture. Yeah and yet he quite amazingly has 7,000,000 sub's without talking (i meant that in a good way not a bad way) and channel's that literally beg for sub's get none
honestly if you dont get caught, its no big deal, especially if i just want to do one tiny thing to see if it would work. there is a small area of woods behind my house anyway so i could "stay in there". i was asking if these saplings and reeds would be able to be found in the average forest like where i live
You would have to research (or use trial and error) on the various plants in the area. Which ones are limber enough to do the weaving? Which ones are not? What bark can you strip to make lashing? and so forth. Most primitive cultures in forested areas had similar skills and worked in similar ways with the materials they had. It's just a matter of knowing what things will work in what way in the area where you are.

I love this guy! He really inspires me to make use of what's laying around in my backyard!
You are a man among boys sir
I'd really like to see your veg harvest and maybe create some things to hunt for meat? or demonstrate how to get a meal... you've already shown shelter, fire and other things... it'd be nice if you showed how you'd sustain yourself in that scenario (Food[Veg[Growing your own?]/Meat], Water[How to obtain it/make it drinkable])
+Max Mouse (Mmouse) not a lot of things it is legal to hunt in Australia, and most of those are not found in Dry Rainforest
Alex Law that's very surprising... And a shame.
Most of our wildlife is small, and Cats, Foxes, Feral Pigs and Cane Toads have put enormous pressure on them. Larger species have suffered catastrophic habitat loss to farmland and pasture. So in order to protect the remaining populations, most native species are more or less protected.
There are two or three large kinds of kangaroo that are legal to hunt in some areas, apart from that it is restricted to feral animals.
He planted a garden, and waters it - it wasn't it's own video. Also showed stone boiling for drinking water.
+Leathal Thinkin thanks for all that info. :)
this update of rust is amazing :D
Just. A little reminder this dude had to figure out how to do all this stuff that he can do by himself and he’s sharing it with us I’m very thankful
Watching these make me want to do something... or go live in the woods 😂 but here I am, lying in bed watching someone else do it
lol, me too
These are my go finish your garden motivation.
Why is this is so true and why do I agree so much?
That's pure awesome. Please keep them coming.
I made only the bottom part of it and used it as a plate.
lol XD
+Zombified Gaming More like a whole day. I didn't have the plant he used so I had to buy one...
+Faith Levlènó lol you had to buy one 😂😂
same as in Indonesian
The craftsmanship on this Channel is outstanding...
This makes me want to abandon my family, and go live in the woods 🤣
Agario_ Anemone but woods has no internet plus you can't watch him

Yea, up until the point mosquitos start biting you.
@TF Stormii you mean primitive sponge meme

Are you allowing people to come out and learn from you? I would definitely come out and stay with you for like a few months
Awesome. How old are you and will you ever talk? And what state are you in?
Right on. I appreciate you1
+Primitive Technology No joke mate, you look about 20...
+Primitive Technology I think not talking adds a nice touch to the videos. Very peaceful.
+Primitive Technology will you ever do a video in nz I know a lot of counsel land in the South Island where you could do what you want on it plus it would be a challenge trying to start a fire here.
Ps. Love your vids
Brilliant baskets. I have learned similar techniques using branches to make baskets with handles 2 years ago. Such a great skill to learn, will try these ones, too. People would appreciate handmade things more if they would make it on their own.
Amazing amount of patients and determination... this guy is my hero!
Merry Christmas primitive technology guy. Thanks for your uploads.
I like how this guy doesn't have the gruge to get likes or subs.
Yeah and yet he quite amazingly has 7,000,000 sub's without talking (i meant that in a good way not a bad way) and channel's that literally beg for sub's get none
Cubic3mpire 7 😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😉😤
so can this be done in basically any forest? the stuff you do is super cool and i'd love to try it in the woods near my home
No. You can't go around cutting trees unless it's privately owned land.
honestly if you dont get caught, its no big deal, especially if i just want to do one tiny thing to see if it would work. there is a small area of woods behind my house anyway so i could "stay in there". i was asking if these saplings and reeds would be able to be found in the average forest like where i live
Teresa McCoy q
you can grab canes from an overgrown fence dude
Indeed the best place to procrastinate watching his working and speaking
Dude, my primitive brain this whole time was like "una waka tiki mada" *caveman voice*

I was half-expecting him to stop what he was doing and start throwing spears into the sky.
Scravtasm Or make an AA gun out of clay and sticks and shoot it down
+Jake the Snake he's trying to survive in the Forrest he's not Osama bin laden
+Omega Henry maybe if he made an AA gun he would save the world maybe just maybe that very helicopter later killed thousands of people
i want to be with this guy during the zombie apocalypse
I'm sure he'd kill you for food if the situation was that bad... well, at least you'd die knowing he'll make use of your remains. lol
98luk45 Haha
+98luk45 Yeah lol something like this;
**Primitive Technology's Journal**
Day 1: Joined a group. They made me build them clay houses. Did so for all 49 people in an hour and a half.
Day 2: Killed everyone. Ate them. Might do something with their bones
Day 3: Made everyone's bones into a bone hut and bone tools
Day 4: Re-established society
Day 5: Back to making videos
me too
me to
I just realized that he put a detailed explaination of the steps in the captions. That's great
you should have ads man, if anyone deserves ad revenue its you.
indeed lol but I have a feeling he does use money for his outdoor activities, which includes buying the land he works on.
More info is in his about page.
He does have ads
the day the apocalypse comes this guy will survive

Me after watching these vids: I could totally survive the apocalypse!
Also me: Doesn't remember any of it
wow, u really are an artist, i wish this skill was brought back into the school system.
How long do the axes you made last before the stone dulls / breaks or the handle splits?
Primitive Technology that's so amazing that you use crude tools even outside of the videos, you don't do it only for the views.
Panos Alamanos Όπου και να πας στο UA-cam, θα υπάρχει πάντα ένας ανεγκέφαλος Ελληναράς που θα βρίζει τους Τούρκους.
Guys, the fact that this video is about primitive technology doesn't mean you should use primitive language.
Primitive Technology And now you fire harden the mortise for strength
Needs more videos
More content would be cool but it probably takes him hours maybe even days just to make one item let alone having to gather materials and edit vids.
+Shane Manson take months
+Cloud Strife, I think he's very active. :) He does a good job.
This guy's been playing too much rust.
John plant you're badass.
Thanks for the tutorials.
