Glad people like the contraption. Was a great help when I was waiting to have abdominal surgery last year. As I really struggled with the muscles you use when stretching lead. Carried on using it a year after the Op. as it’s so easy. Thanks Sophie for sharing it.
Wish i could attach a picture! I just designed on almost exactly like it! Winch was $25 on Amazon. Works so well!! Than you for sharing!
Ooh thank you so much!! I’ve been thinking about using a winch but I hadn’t figured out how to attach the lead. Using another one of those clamps of course!! Why didn’t I think of that 😅
I made one of these to pull silver wire through a reducing plate but never thiught to use it to stretch lead. Im gonna try it 😁👌🏻

That come along was a great idea. It was very helpful and enlightening. I wish you would speak about the other two you have that cuts the lead in corners looks like a pie knife. Can you tell me what it’s called
