The Killer Whale is the correct set for me. All I want to do is fish, and the only loot I collect is from the ungodly amount of Ocean Crawlers, spirits, and skeletons that come onto island shores when I'm collecting bait. Say what you will, but I'm a fisherman.

Almost every single time I was sunk it was because I was "in the way" when another crew wanted to park at an outpost, I was fishing/doing a tall tale or simply I guess the fact alone the amount of cannonballs they spend of me has the likelyhood to be recovered with a bonus 1 or 2 was enough reason.

Can't exactly blame pve reapers. It's one of the easiest to level factions in the game, since it takes every kind of loot. Everyone knows that as far as lore goes reapers are *supposed* to be all about fighting and plundering. For some reason rare didn't consider this with their mechanics though. And not everyone cares about rp that much. Should've implemented that you only get the maximum amount of gold and rep if the turned in loot was previously claimed by someone else, like with fallen flags.
I will never not chase down and try to kill any reaper who doesn't go after me. If I'm tier 5 merchants and a tier 5 reapers is an island away and doesn't come at me? I'm coming at them. You owe it to the flame when you sign that contract, raise that flag. You will plunder, loot, maim and destroy to satiate his neverending hunger for violence. If you fail this simple task? You shall burn with the rest. Hail flameheart, and let the seas burn. And on that note, why are you playing the most rp-friendly faction with the thematic cosmetics when you don't wanna actually play the faction as intended. Being a forsaken is one of the most fun things in the game, cus its the ship set I see the least. I designed my entire outift around forsaken, ashen curse, and scorched forsaken stuff (Ashen winds). my cat is an ashen curse cat, and both my weapons are forsaken. I can agree about the devils roar part, but I also love to hang around the ancient isles and find fishermen. I then make alliances with them and do missions while they fish, and we both get rep and money from one another. I run at full ghost set and Dark adventurer, I either parley all others (if possible, if not then we fight) except parrots which I avoid altogether.
When it comes to the stereo types for alliance flags, I'd say, if they got gold hoarder emissary they fall into two types, The Gits who just need more gold for pirate legend stuff, and The Pussies of the reaper emissaries. The second is because they are just reapers emissaries who are so scared of being seen on the map they hide at ports as gold hoarders and chase ANY ship (even if they got no loot or on a tale tale) to the fartherest reaches of the map and YES even through flameheart islands even if they get heavily damaged, Oh they are also more likely to triple board if they are on a galleon. I write this due to my many experiences with players who do this.

The GH one is almost spot on, I am decent to good at fighting but I do also never have loot because I often do not hold onto it till grade 5 when Im solo slooping
Ashen Dragon is me in terms of skill (or rather lack thereof), opinion of powderkegs and brig, and wanting to obliterate everything that gets within gun range. Hey, it's a pirate game. I might not be out for blood, but that doesn't mean that the other guy isn't!
As a person who was part of a merchant emissary squad, I can confirm the stuff about them. We would just be delivering stuff and we always found a frickin sloop at every island we had to stop at. Luckily they weren’t very good and we sunk them with no issue, but yeah, I can confirm the bloodthirsty monster stuff
Hey dude pirate legend here. Cool video tho as a legend I'm happy to do alliances and help players as long as they don't board with out permission.Thats just a sailirs law even to this day I'm the experienced captain of my crew
Holy shit, minus the alliance flag part, the gold hoarders sails is completely true, I always use the emissary clothing and my friend wears ashen stuff with orange hair and an orange beard
Mines a bit of a mix of Shark Hunter and I think the Cut throat, along with the Hunter of the Deep figurehead (Day 1 guy here). Named her the Megalodon’s Bane. No matter what I’m doing, if a Meg or kraken attacks, I come to a full stop and send those bastards back to the depths. The one I have yet to kill? The one that doesn’t exist (Shrouded Ghost).
Love the reaper Clip :D got sunk as a solo fisher by a reaper galleon. I didn't bother to fight back since they pretended to be friendly. Took them 5 minutes to sink an ankered sloop. I spawned in again on a new ship and decided to hunt them down. They started a skelli fleet and before I could arrive, they sunk. I checked out their profiles: they left the server and went back to arena 😄
100% agree with the merchants Me and my crew used to sail Reaper and we did alright, then we started representing the Merchants and all of a sudden we became gods, I'm pretty sure our best run was 16-1 K/D after many hours and the only reason our ship sank is because at the end of every session we burn and name the ship especially one with such good track record. I believe that ship was HMS Swiss cheese due to the extensive amount of holes.
As a representative, and member of the Parrot community, I just have to say that I'm stumped on how you got that so perfectly. Me and my friends just get drunk, play music, and dance around!!! Sure, we play a tall tale here and there, but we have fun in the process. Also, we would like to thank you for calling us cool guys. Thank you for your time. :D
As a Parrot, I can confirm that over time, we now have a bouncer at the cannons, ou are welcome to party, but if you go hostile, prepare for everyone to resume playing their instrument and start T bagging you while we go for the next stop, looking for actual party men, have fun with others, not at the expense of others, being friendly doesn't mean being deffenceless.
As merchant I'm chill with other and raise alliance flag to see who you are, if you good neutral you pass, but if I find near sunken ship, prepare for trouble.
When I started the game I was fairly unaware of what I was doing, sure I was going around digging treasure etc, but then I got sunk.... then again, then again and again... Until I turned into the merchant in this video.
Mercenary is usually what I rock and almost everyone I meet asks about the sails. It’s nice to see them here even if I don’t fit the stereotype. Although, anomaly is kinda accurate. I’m either shitting on a galleon but myself or raging at random incredibly inconvenient PvE encounters while trying to do something else.
My brother and our friends use the reaper set if we're trying to get gold, but if we are hunting for players then we use the dark war smith set. We also named the ship "The Golden Crest".
The cutthroat stereotype is spot on lmao. I'd say I'm a little bit better than average at PvP, but I have had lots of fights where I win by outlasting my opponents with my friends.
I can attest, all I do is run a parrot set, and have a jolly old time. Usually we aren't a threat, and occasionally if you put up with our nonsense music and grog filled mishaps, we make "decent" allies. We won't contribute too much to loot, but we're okay fighters, and are more in it for the laughs than anything
As a bit of an occasional reaper.. this is pretty true, though in more recent times I've been actively going towards other ships to either form an alliance with some like-minded scallywags or (poorly attempt to) sink a ship that dared to provoke my ire.
The Killer Whale is the correct set for me. All I want to do is fish, and the only loot I collect is from the ungodly amount of Ocean Crawlers, spirits, and skeletons that come onto island shores when I'm collecting bait. Say what you will, but I'm a fisherman.

wow i just rewatched this and barly noticed how almost on point he was with the gold horder type
“Galleon arena is dead”
Oh non-time traveler… you have no idea…
I often use a combo of Gilded pheonix and merchant ambassador, but sometimes go for a mixture of hunter and magpie.
As a dark parrot user I'd like to say one thing... you're half right. Some of us also do whatever the hell we want and try to avoid combat.
I feel called out with the cultured aristocratic set
Idk why, but brigs seem to just attack me on sight, no matter what. So now all brigs are on my sink-on-sight list.
Yyyyyyep.
E?
*E*
@@Bacxaber good
Oh my god the gold hoarder stereotype is so accurate it’s kinda scary
As a person who was part of a merchant emissary squad, I can confirm the stuff about them. We would just be delivering stuff and we always found a frickin sloop at every island we had to stop at. Luckily they weren’t very good and we sunk them with no issue, but yeah, I can confirm the bloodthirsty monster stuff
as the captain of a crew of fat sea hobos, i can agree if people see us coming they might as well scuttle.
6:48 The Killer Whale is my main go to. I am one level away from level 50. I won’t attack unless attack and I’ll keep coming back for more.
As a pirate legend , I use the black sails and shark hunter hull with nothing else lol
Hey dude pirate legend here. Cool video tho as a legend I'm happy to do alliances and help players as long as they don't board with out permission.Thats just a sailirs law even to this day I'm the experienced captain of my crew
May Betty White rest in peace
Holy shit, minus the alliance flag part, the gold hoarders sails is completely true, I always use the emissary clothing and my friend wears ashen stuff with orange hair and an orange beard
i can proudly say i use Ashen Dragon set because it's gorgeous, not to scare people (not like i can be threatening in any way in a solo sloop)
The dark adventurer set: they only use chainshots and blunderbombs and have an endless supply of them
As a parrot player, I wholeheartedly agree that it’s just a party. I’m just here to sail and get some treasure for fun
Unpainted Sloop for the win! My father and I love doing arenas, which has helped me so much in PvP
I like to use the bilge rat set lol
Sea hobos are accurate, we did flameheart and a sea hobo brig showed up. They sunk us (a galleon) in 30 seconds.
bro nailer my playstyle on the merchant ship,as i am a roleplayer myself
What did I learn? Sloops will literally fuck you up every chance they get 😩
2 merchants within free clicks of each other are fine.
100% agree with the merchants
Me and my crew used to sail Reaper and we did alright, then we started representing the Merchants and all of a sudden we became gods, I'm pretty sure our best run was 16-1 K/D after many hours and the only reason our ship sank is because at the end of every session we burn and name the ship especially one with such good track record.
I believe that ship was HMS Swiss cheese due to the extensive amount of holes.
As a golden skull brig, very accurate
As a hunter sloop I took down the same gally once and then twice because they came back
As a representative, and member of the Parrot community, I just have to say that I'm stumped on how you got that so perfectly. Me and my friends just get drunk, play music, and dance around!!! Sure, we play a tall tale here and there, but we have fun in the process. Also, we would like to thank you for calling us cool guys. Thank you for your time. :D
I just like the looks of ashen dragon ship cosmetics. I just like glowing things.
Merchant ship here. Totally Accurate. We've been pushed around too many times!
Damn goals hoarder was spot on
As a Parrot, I can confirm that over time, we now have a bouncer at the cannons, ou are welcome to party, but if you go hostile, prepare for everyone to resume playing their instrument and start T bagging you while we go for the next stop, looking for actual party men, have fun with others, not at the expense of others, being friendly doesn't mean being deffenceless.
I find it funny many people will put up the Reaper’s emissary but will turn tail when you try to combat them.
Yeah it makes no sense.
As a merchant ship set enjoyer... So fucking true, I've experienced so much bs that I don't take any chances
when your the exact opposite of the reapers set yet you still run it
Man. East India Company. That takes me back.
me and my friend who use the killer whale set to fool people into thinking we are bad, but we are actually super aggressive
Every postal 2 needs a postal 3 made me shiver in fear...
As merchant I'm chill with other and raise alliance flag to see who you are, if you good neutral you pass, but if I find near sunken ship, prepare for trouble.
Just stay away from my merchant cargo and we will have no issues.
When I started the game I was fairly unaware of what I was doing, sure I was going around digging treasure etc, but then I got sunk.... then again, then again and again... Until I turned into the merchant in this video.
I am the slayer of ocean crawlers! Captain Crab forever!
Lol
Nice video amigo
Mercenary is usually what I rock and almost everyone I meet asks about the sails. It’s nice to see them here even if I don’t fit the stereotype. Although, anomaly is kinda accurate. I’m either shitting on a galleon but myself or raging at random incredibly inconvenient PvE encounters while trying to do something else.
My brother and our friends use the reaper set if we're trying to get gold, but if we are hunting for players then we use the dark war smith set. We also named the ship "The Golden Crest".
What video is "the video" at 3:30?
How the fuck have none of y'all seen it? Here: ua-cam.com/video/8UjWwMtrETk/v-deo.html
0:19 I met a really nice one who let me continue my tall tail in piece
