I watch all your videos. Your venue videos bring back memories of 20 years ago when I was on the road with Robby Krieger & Ray Manzarek. Seeing all the Team CoCo signs reminded me of one of my jobs being to arrive at the venue early in the day. I had to scope out the venue and put signage up designating which dressing room was for who. I put directional arrows up showing how to get from dressing rooms to stage entrance and how to get to catering. I would investigate every nook and cranny of a venue. Keep doing your venue videos. I love them.

Wish I had a buck for every time I watched Conan's old show (speaking of old, we both have a visual recollection of him and JV doing the "In the year 2000" bits).
I played the Orpheum Memphis this spring. Lovely!!

I love these old theaters. This reminds me of the Eagles Club/ The Rave in Milwaukee. Great place to see a show. or 2 or 3. There are 5 different stages.

My husband saw "Hard Days Night" in that movie theatre when it was first released. Another cool old downtown, LA theatre was the State. Have a great show. Will it air on peacock, UA-cam, or something?

Thank you Leland for the tour to now help complete my travel day. This morning I was in Montana grooming a new horse before being brought into a small group of already kept horses. These out of body experiences are not anything to worry about. ☘
Seeing the crafts work that made these older venues, I do wonder if they could ever be created again in other than in a virtual reality setting in a high-definition hologram.

Lee we had a beautiful Orpheum Theatre in Seattle. In the late 60s it was torn down to build the a hotel with two circular towers. It's okay but they could built it somewhere else. I'm glad L.A. chose to keep theirs.

Hello Leland! I found your channel becuase I wanted to see if someone uploaded a video from last tuesday in the Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend podcast.
I was there and you were amazing on the bass guitar. I traveled from Monterrey, Mexico (below Texas border) to Tijuana, then I crossed the border into San Diego, then I took a 3hr train to LA just to see the show.
The show was amazing, The Orpheum Theatre it's beautiful.
I made youtube shorts with shoots of my visit to LA and the show in case you would wanted to watch them.

I would love to see the behind the scenes now. Our group toured it when the elevator for Theatre organ was still there, and we were able to go in the back where some of the pipes were housed. Very cool space back in the 70's.
