Looks to me like the answer is YES! Jiyan is heavily reliant on ult to have max damage output, but has high and consistent DPS over the duration of said ult Jinhsi has one heavy hitting attack and her ult every other rotation (not really applicable here) and otherwise will be off field Changli has a kit with near 100% damage uptime, really good parries like Jiyan (albeit not quite as good I imagine), a forte/ult/forte loop that deals maybe 70%-80% a similar invest Jinhsi's skill + ult, I mean overall I think she is the most consistent DPS character in the game with the highest uptime but that may just be me.
I think shes kinda mid. You need her ult most of time to do a lot of damage but her ult feels hard af to charge. Also, getting her forte without her ult feels clunky as shit. Might just be my skill issue though

Jinshi alone suqs can't recharge her forte at all and in this his jinhsi already had the max forte before she enter the battle and his jinhsi is build the most while he left jiyan in midway non max skills.
Umm, Jinhsi is quite capable of doing damage on her own. It's funny how her damage distorted everyone's perspective of what good damage is. Of course I have S1R1 so I do more on my E, but even before that she was still hitting pretty hard without her incandescense stacks.

well, all three of them are good in their own way, even danjin and chixia a 4 star can solo a tower stage if built properly and with a good rotation. Currently, there's no content that requires you to solo everything unless you're a tryhard. Just take whoever you like and build them properly while learning how to play them and have fun
Tbf the person in this video didnt play changli to her max potential, they didnt use the forte immediatly after the burst and wasnt able to use the full damage boost you get from that, plus they didnt use a true sight attack after each skill missing out on forte and large damage. Their changli is also not built as good as the other characters
In terms of output damage alone Jinshi win this easily with her double Nuke specially on full stack .. But the thing is Changli can enabler another Character with his outro skills specially fusion resonator while she also can doing so much damage on her own. I try it with Encore and they just go crazy
Btw i played a lot jinshi the last weeks in this dreamdoor mode n other trials Yesterday i wasnt sure about skipping jinshi but im glad i did I needed all my pulls for changli and she was worth it (Jinshi is very cool, dont get me wrong) Changlis gameplay is amazing (she also dash to enemys with her atks, very nice), she is very strong and she looks amazing Here in this video the Echos and gameplay of changli are not that great and she still was fast Even if she ends 5% slower then jinshi in 1v1, she is awesome for that because she works as dps alone, she works in team, she works as sup dps etc etc. No regrets at all
Changli is fun, but Jinhsi is exceptionally powerful. More so than Changli, but fun is more valuable than ease of use in a non PVP game that’s not all that hard in the first place.
not every character needs to be as nuke as jinshi, if every character is like that then i shouldve just not quit genshin since its nuke party on that game. what i want for changli is her game style people might differ but for me the fun is ultimately the driving factor of pulling for the character, and you dont even have to say it im pulling for xiangli yao as well why cause he looks fun, and dont get me wrong having 1 character like jinshi is ultimately fun and satiafying as well. thats why i have both of them

@@kayyam9959 Changli’s ult does more dmg than Jinhsi’s tho. If the boss was reduced to 300k health than that would be no problem, Jinhsi has her forte, Changli has her ult. As you seen from the video Changli’s basic attack doesn’t do much dmg, like most characters. It’s always about the forte, skill and burst, which they all had. Plus this video has no rotations in it, they’re solo-ing, so that alone tells you this isn’t exactly how they’re going to be when you’re playing with them, a full team obviously will have different results.

The thing is, these are single rotation showcase so Jinshi with a full stacks will definitely obliterate the boss with a low hp. If you put them in tower against a boss with 1.4m hp pool and require them to do 3 rotations a least, I'm pretty sure the result will be different
@@renzartworks4968 the things is, no one play toa with 1 unit especially for unit like jinshi if u do hazard tower. The best unit for solo toa is daijin assuming u are skilled and got stonk echo.. Jiyan, changli, jinshi if S0 R1.. will pale in comparison to daijin S6 with R1 emerald. Even if u put daijin at a bit lower sequence. She is still better tbh. Also, the facts that jinshi, u can hyper invest her. U can just bring lvl 1 yuanwu with lvl 1 echo. Also underlvled furina. U can clear TOA. But changli u need to bring strong sub dps or main dps to play with her.. so u need both invested. It's the same like encore, rover or encore sanhua etc. Else u not able to clear in time. It is a different category of unit.. but if u want to hyper invest one char.. jinshi just ahead from the competition.. if u compared limited 5* pools we got.

Moreover if u play hologram tryhard.. u will stack forte or energy before challenging the boss. So prebuilt forte stack should not be a concern. In TOA u will get full energy in the beginning.
Jinshi is the top DPS burst, Jian and Changli is DPS sustain. This will vary on the enemies you fight, since Jinshi is slow in hitting those breaks, you could change to Changli and Jian since they are fast. Plus Jinshi skills blinds your view, unlike Changli and Jian.
I have Jiyan and Changli i really like playing Changli, the damage is amazing and the best part is her damage is elemental skill so you dont need high energy for the case in jiyan but they two are really good dps
what i felt using rental changli in tactical simularca with jinhsi is, changli have fast aspd like danjin, so its easier to parry than using jinhsi with her slightly delayed animation, thus making parry window correction is smaller than changli, but when the enemy is on break, jinhsi nuke beats changli, lol so i think changli is good for opening while jinhsi is for nuking like how some pepol said here, lol
The point is Changli open for many many rotation as her skill has many swap time making her rotation special, you can't do it with Jinhsi and Jiyan as they're on field dps

I think the comparation was ok except Jinshi started with full forte and Jiyan also started with almost full forte, to be complete fair you could also gave Changli full forte to start since her best combo is forte+Liberation+forte
Depends on how you build the characters and what teamates you give them but changli is very good, my team is Changli, Jianxin and Sanhua I also give Changli 2 echos with crit damage and it turn out very good.

Not really, if you put in the fact that Jiyan can group up enemies, it makes more sense. But Changli has probably better future teams than the other 2. She's just going to be better when we get newer units.
Jinhsi weakness is her team rotation, it required alot from her team to help her stack up her forte. but her personal rotation is just way faster than any other character. Changli is a quick swap dps with no grouping cabability, and Jiyan is ugabunga hold the attack button to group everything and deal massive damage, so his dps should be lower.
Dude this is a bad comparison he started the fight with max forte on jinhsi already and he didn't unlocked all talents on jiyan like jinhsi. This is not fair comparison.

Brain-dead people in the chat don't know that the rotations are just biased and not optimal for all. Like Jhinshi full stacks is the most impractical thing I've seen, she'll need a team to get those stacks full and without those she's gonna only do 60k dmg after a long as normal attack string twice to beat the boss, do it with zero stacks on everyone and build them without supports then let's see whose that actual winner coz that's what ur gonna see in a practical combat scenario Ultimate can be kept ready as tower of adversity also gives full energy at start
Ok now try the same test with a group of enemy or the 2 boss that comes in wave i am sure changli or jiyan will suprass changli because her kit is single targeted enemies oriented (which is not bad) but jiyan and changli can take out mobs quicker (because they are multitargeted)
The thing is, jinshi can do her entire rotation again and pump out the same amounts of damage in just 4~5 seconds, she is relentless, she will keep nuking
Jinshi is so good character in this game Nuke damage, CC enemys, Ez gameplay, can hit enemy on the air without breaking the combo and dodge the enemy damage so its very usefull for potato devices, Have 2 animation attack and very well design Mostly Perfect Caracter for now Yaahh.. Maybe because he's a Sentinel, his kit was made special and so strong so can't wait for the next sentinel😅
jinshi is good but u need to rely on teamate to fully utilize her forte , she not a character u can use for solo run, n this video already show her forte already full up which is why she finish quicker. changli is more reliable dps due to her consistency, not too mention her Traces can give enemy debuff that is increase damage taken on fusion.. while jiyan is really good in crowd control, but his charm is when he use resonance liberation which boost his dps more..... both jiyan n changli can do solo run... but i pick changli cuz for booba
@@Israeldi-t1p most of the high end phones from various companies work well with this game. Don't need to get a specific gaming phone like Asus ROG or Redmagic Pro to run it this smooth. I play this on the Z Fold 4 just fine and have tested this on the S23 Ultra also.
I do own jinhsi but changli is far better in clearing out enemies this comparison is quite unfair just because jinhsi has her nuke up ofc she would finish it the fastest she's literally the highest damage output ingame with max forte
bro sry about that but your changli is build incorrectly. Only 8.6% resonance skill damage is bad cuz almost all of her skills scale of that also resonance liberation damage could be higher than 18.8%, at least 25% i think, Dont build heavy attack bonus and standard damage bonus as none of the skills scale on that lol, also way to many def and hp, hp%. still a far way to go xD tip. only lvl the echos but don't give them substats, that'll make comparisons more consistent!
The stats they gave her in story was trash lol. It was a terrible way to see how strong a character could be. The most Story trial did was give everyone an idea of how she played.
who ever still downplayed jinhsi is clearly some butthurt haters. she is clearly the winner because she has two fckng nuke skill and can be use back to back very fast. you only need to click her basic attack for 8 times and boom you go the nuke!!. if lucky, you can get faster battery in her echo for faster ultimate. her dps damage also consistenly can be 1k and above but who need dps when you can just nuke everything in AOE?? pretty much broken and you cant denied it. changli is a bit technical but her ulti is also nuke type which makes her great too. i love jinyan but it seems, he need to has better basic damage output if they dont want to buff his ulti. but i still impressed of jinhsi. whoever thought to put two nuke in her kit is brilliant. and it caters to a not-so-pro dps user like me. wonder how other magistrate will be..maybe super healer or super shielder?
S - Sequence = Dupes/ Copies beyond the first one. In Genshin it's called Constellations. In Honkai Star Rail it's called Eidolons. R - Rank = Signature Weapon. The weapon that released along with said character. Weapon Ranks can be increased by combining more copies of the same weapon. Rank caps at 5 S0 - No dupes. Just base character. R1 - Rank 1 Signature weapon. R0 would indicate they are not using the character's Signature weapon and are using something else.

@@kayyam9959 Changli’s ult does more dmg than Jinhsi’s tho. If the boss was reduced to 300k health than that would be no problem, Jinhsi has her forte, Changli has her ult. As you seen from the video Changli’s basic attack doesn’t do much dmg, like most characters. It’s always about the forte, skill and burst, which they all had. Plus this video has no rotations in it, they’re solo-ing, so that alone tells you this isn’t exactly how they’re going to be when you’re playing with them, a full team obviously will have different results.

The thing is, these are single rotation showcase so Jinshi with a full stacks will definitely obliterate the boss with a low hp.
If you put them in tower against a boss with 1.4m hp pool and require them to do 3 rotations a least, I'm pretty sure the result will be different
nah don't cope with ToA, the game isn't always ToA. If we put Jinhsi 0 Stack. Then might as well put Jiyan ult to 0 energy if that's the case.

@@renzartworks4968 the things is, no one play toa with 1 unit especially for unit like jinshi if u do hazard tower.
The best unit for solo toa is daijin assuming u are skilled and got stonk echo.. Jiyan, changli, jinshi if S0 R1.. will pale in comparison to daijin S6 with R1 emerald. Even if u put daijin at a bit lower sequence. She is still better tbh.
Also, the facts that jinshi, u can hyper invest her. U can just bring lvl 1 yuanwu with lvl 1 echo. Also underlvled furina. U can clear TOA.
But changli u need to bring strong sub dps or main dps to play with her.. so u need both invested. It's the same like encore, rover or encore sanhua etc.
Else u not able to clear in time.
It is a different category of unit.. but if u want to hyper invest one char.. jinshi just ahead from the competition.. if u compared limited 5* pools we got.

Moreover if u play hologram tryhard.. u will stack forte or energy before challenging the boss. So prebuilt forte stack should not be a concern.
In TOA u will get full energy in the beginning.
Jinshi is the top DPS burst, Jian and Changli is DPS sustain. This will vary on the enemies you fight, since Jinshi is slow in hitting those breaks, you could change to Changli and Jian since they are fast. Plus Jinshi skills blinds your view, unlike Changli and Jian.
Yeah the problem is Changli doesn't really have good teammates that perfectly synergize with her hopefully that will get fixed

I have Jiyan and Changli i really like playing Changli, the damage is amazing and the best part is her damage is elemental skill so you dont need high energy for the case in jiyan but they two are really good dps
what i felt using rental changli in tactical simularca with jinhsi is, changli have fast aspd like danjin, so its easier to parry than using jinhsi with her slightly delayed animation, thus making parry window correction is smaller than changli, but when the enemy is on break, jinhsi nuke beats changli, lol
so i think changli is good for opening while jinhsi is for nuking like how some pepol said here, lol
The point is Changli open for many many rotation as her skill has many swap time making her rotation special, you can't do it with Jinhsi and Jiyan as they're on field dps

I think the comparation was ok except Jinshi started with full forte and Jiyan also started with almost full forte, to be complete fair you could also gave Changli full forte to start since her best combo is forte+Liberation+forte
Depends on how you build the characters and what teamates you give them but changli is very good, my team is Changli, Jianxin and Sanhua I also give Changli 2 echos with crit damage and it turn out very good.
Jiyan: king of the crowd
Jinhsi: queen in one goal
Changli: all together, but less dmg

Damage wise Jhinsi is the strongest but only if she has all 50 stacks. If Consistent DMG Jihyan and Changli are the way to go.

Not really, if you put in the fact that Jiyan can group up enemies, it makes more sense.
But Changli has probably better future teams than the other 2. She's just going to be better when we get newer units.
Jinhsi weakness is her team rotation, it required alot from her team to help her stack up her forte. but her personal rotation is just way faster than any other character. Changli is a quick swap dps with no grouping cabability, and Jiyan is ugabunga hold the attack button to group everything and deal massive damage, so his dps should be lower.
Dude this is a bad comparison he started the fight with max forte on jinhsi already and he didn't unlocked all talents on jiyan like jinhsi.

Like Jhinshi full stacks is the most impractical thing I've seen, she'll need a team to get those stacks full and without those she's gonna only do 60k dmg after a long as normal attack string twice to beat the boss, do it with zero stacks on everyone and build them without supports then let's see whose that actual winner coz that's what ur gonna see in a practical combat scenario

Ok now try the same test with a group of enemy or the 2 boss that comes in wave i am sure changli or jiyan will suprass changli because her kit is single targeted enemies oriented (which is not bad) but jiyan and changli can take out mobs quicker (because they are multitargeted)

Jinshi is so good character in this game
Nuke damage, CC enemys, Ez gameplay, can hit enemy on the air without breaking the combo and dodge the enemy damage so its very usefull for potato devices, Have 2 animation attack and very well design
Mostly Perfect Caracter for now

jinshi is good but u need to rely on teamate to fully utilize her forte , she not a character u can use for solo run, n this video already show her forte already full up which is why she finish quicker.
changli is more reliable dps due to her consistency, not too mention her Traces can give enemy debuff that is increase damage taken on fusion..
while jiyan is really good in crowd control, but his charm is when he use resonance liberation which boost his dps more.....
both jiyan n changli can do solo run... but i pick changli cuz for booba

@@Israeldi-t1p most of the high end phones from various companies work well with this game. Don't need to get a specific gaming phone like Asus ROG or Redmagic Pro to run it this smooth. I play this on the Z Fold 4 just fine and have tested this on the S23 Ultra also.
I do own jinhsi but changli is far better in clearing out enemies this comparison is quite unfair just because jinhsi has her nuke up ofc she would finish it the fastest she's literally the highest damage output ingame with max forte

Only 8.6% resonance skill damage is bad cuz almost all of her skills scale of that also resonance liberation damage could be higher than 18.8%, at least 25% i think, Dont build heavy attack bonus and standard damage bonus as none of the skills scale on that lol, also way to many def and hp, hp%. still a far way to go xD

I feel like Changli got nerfed. She was way stronger when I was testing her in story.
The stats they gave her in story was trash lol. It was a terrible way to see how strong a character could be. The most Story trial did was give everyone an idea of how she played.
So ive got Jiyan C3 and managed to get Changli and her weapon. Who should i aim for? Also got Mortefi c6, verina c1

who ever still downplayed jinhsi is clearly some butthurt haters. she is clearly the winner because she has two fckng nuke skill and can be use back to back very fast. you only need to click her basic attack for 8 times and boom you go the nuke!!. if lucky, you can get faster battery in her echo for faster ultimate. her dps damage also consistenly can be 1k and above but who need dps when you can just nuke everything in AOE?? pretty much broken and you cant denied it. changli is a bit technical but her ulti is also nuke type which makes her great too. i love jinyan but it seems, he need to has better basic damage output if they dont want to buff his ulti. but i still impressed of jinhsi. whoever thought to put two nuke in her kit is brilliant. and it caters to a not-so-pro dps user like me. wonder how other magistrate will be..maybe super healer or super shielder?

S - Sequence = Dupes/ Copies beyond the first one. In Genshin it's called Constellations. In Honkai Star Rail it's called Eidolons.
R - Rank = Signature Weapon. The weapon that released along with said character. Weapon Ranks can be increased by combining more copies of the same weapon. Rank caps at 5
S0 - No dupes. Just base character.
R1 - Rank 1 Signature weapon. R0 would indicate they are not using the character's Signature weapon and are using something else.
You should do it in hologram bosses because dome animations are really long and the time stop goes unnoticed
