Gladiator's 4pc effect works all the time while the new set required BOL to decrease/increase in order to take effect. The thing is like yes the new piece is the best but if you have better substats on gladiator set, it might not have much difference. For example having 200% cd on the new set and 230% on gladiator, that 30% cd on gladiator can already make up to have somewhat of an equal damage to the new set. I'm only saying this because I doubt people will have good substats on the new set because it's still new obviously. The choice is up to you

as a both arlecchino and neuvilette haver, i say arlecchino has more damage per hit potential but the aoe and f2p-ness makes neuvikette an op character when paired with c1, neuvilette becomes an unstoppable force

Arlecchino doesn't outshine lyney in Mono Pyro unless she's c2+. Same with Hu tao in vap. This is coming from someone who knows their damage per rotation with their best teams.

Everyone talking about Hu Tao's team but why no one talking about Arlec team? There is no Hydro character in in Arlec's team. She hits 150k DMG without Vaporize. Thats huge.

Your so called quickbloom is basically Hyperbloom, the reaction with dendro and hydro is bloom creating dendro cores and when the cores met electro it will transform into hyperbloom. "Quicken" is one of the dendro reaction but no hydro involved just dendro and electro and swirl... I haven't heard quickbloom until now...

The thing is that Furina forces you to run a healer to get the max stacks fast. So I'd rather use the other supports, specially because they're better

Their difference is 19% dmg bonus which is an equivalent of 3-5 substat so if you have 35 substat Glad you need 30-32 substat Fragment set to get the same DPS at C0 (c2 the difference is bigger cuz at C0 your skill and burst deal such a low % in total DPS, you use your skill before any buff on top of the base dmg being super low and you don't use your burst in ideal scenario) So yea, if you don't have any other artifact set you can grind the new set but even with just 2 piece (atk %/normal %/EM etc) you only have 7-9 substat difference in damage so if you have 40 substat 2 piece set that would be better than 30 substat 4 set of new artifact. Getting just the right main stat could take weeks if not months then getting 30 substat take 2-3 months depend on luck then 35 stat could take 3-6 months or more if you are unlucky and Arle is quite picky with main and substat, you only want crit and atk in mono pyro and add EM for vape while ER and any other stat is useless (pyro goblet>atk goblet in most cases but non benny team is close enough to not matter, even in benny team the difference in dmg only 2-4 substat) My arle rocking 35 substat glad (40 if you count ER) and I'm happy, wasting months grinding in domain that only have one useful set for 1 character is just a huge nope (might change my mind after C2 on her rerun tho)

I see a lot of people fighting in the comments so hopefully people who want to know who is better read this, Arlecchino does more frontload damage, she’s better for bosses because she has more DPS than neuvi Neuvi however is better for spiral abyss since he can dish out his damage all the time while arlecchino’s damage is from her skill, Neuvi you just hold down left click. Also neuvillette is more comfortable to play with heals and overall freedom in his playstyle, to use arlecchino you have to be skilled because you can’t heal except only from her ult. In conclusion, use neuvi for quality of life, and use arlecchino for big PP damage against bosses.

I think he is best in freeze teams overall. Reverse melt is alright but is better for someone like Ganyu who has consistent, occasional application with heavy hits. Since his dmg is so split into many hits it’s almost better to hyper carry in most situations or freeze. Freeze would be easy enough with Furina, Mika, and Kazuha. Shenhe could potentially replace Mona with his C1 and since freeze is generally safe albeit it hasn’t been for a long time given there’s always at least one chamber with unfreezable enemies

Neuvi > Arlecchino in consistent dmg. Arlecchino > Neuvi in one rotation clear

Neuv is better, and you don’t even need c1 because his attack reach for a very long distance

The new set is better. Most people doing these show cases have excellent glad pieces but if you have even half way decent pieces for the new set it does better.
