I don't care as much about stats as most folks. Walter, Gayle & OJ had no OL, QB or a deep threat WR to back off the safeties. At least Barry had Herman Moore. Emmett had it all, but he kept his body in shape, he stayed hungry. Jim Brown was a freaking monster lol he was bigger than the LBs but think of all the other sports he played like lacrosse.

I hate to think OJ ‘s life had to be destroyed and his achievements as a legendary football player trashed when he wasn’t guilty. Critical evidence was kept out of the courtroom as was the nefarious activities Nicole and Ron were involved in. Skin under Nicole’s nails didn’t match OJ’s and was never identified.

The juice! I'm a bears fan and walter payton fan. The duel between these two men in 1976 and 1977 is etched in my mind as the greatest time for running backs.

OJ was easily the best player in the NFL in the early 70’s. The Steelers were the best team, but he was the best player. When they showed the halftime highlights on MNF we were all watching just to see what he’d done.
