    Genius. Bought 5 lbs. of 🪱worms from Gregg several years ago. They just keep on mulching and reproducing. They're sorta like pets cuz you start to really care for the worms and their habitat.

    Mr. Greg that was a great video. I am so glad I ordered my worms from you.They showed up in the mail in great shape and now I have tripled from what I started with. Since April the 4th when I got them I have got 2 gallons of castings and like I said the population has tripled. Thanks for all you teach us.

    That was very interesting.Worms and Casting a very important part of gardening. Plentiful in MI where I grew up. But not all States are the same, most are deprived of rich nutrients.
    I liked the way you invented your separator, great job. Thank you!

    My daughter and I made two raised beds. We paid $50 for a pick up truck load of dirt. It’s good rich looking dirt. It’s full of worms. Added compost and potting soil. Mixed it up. It full of worms. Plus the kids take flashlights out at night and find more worms for the garden plants are doing great. Thank you for your videos.

    Very ingenious system you have there! Designed by a rocket scientist! (Spell check put "rocker" not "rocket"..."rocker scientist" would be me in my recliner! 😎) You may be able to put a spring loaded idler pulley like the old tillers have to keep the belt tensioned...may be able to slowly tighten it too to slow start the trommel...or just keep hand assisting it...that seems to work for you just fine. Very cool video! Thanks for sharing and hope you have a blessed weekend!

    i have had your worms for a month now in totes. i put them in half compost half peat moss and coco coir mix, they seemed to have used up all the compost that they could and slowed down so i got them some cracked corn wow they love it.( i hope Monsanto hasn't messed with the feed.) i can still see coco and peat in with them but lots of nice castings also. im at a point where im not sure what to to to grow my heard. ive got about 5k worms in 4 large wally mart totes. im sure you have covered this but i lose track sometimes.

Noticed the soil is completely different then the AR clay. It's very Sandy here.And I would get rid of the paint brush and get your hands dirty. lol.

    Greg, How long is it before your wooden box needs replacing? Do you use treated plywood? What type of worms were in the video? A lot of questions I know but I'm always looking for ways to improve my worm bins and it looks like you have a very good system going on there. That sure beats hand sifting. And oh boy do they LOVE watermelon!. Thanks for the help you gave me when we thought we were going to get that last hurricane here in Florida. Have a great weekend. ☺🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🐛🐛🐛🐛🐛

      Shirley K Greg has a video that answers all your questions. I think he’s to busy to answer a lot personally. I remember him saying don’t use treated wood , and the pine wood lasts about 3 years. I think if you’d use redwood or a naturally rot resistant wood, the box will last longer. The worms are red wiggler compost worms . I just bought a pound from Greg 2 weeks ago and they’re doing fine!

    • @greengregs
      @greengregs  4 роки тому +2

      1 - 2 rpm - vary the angle, steeper when the castings are wetter. Keep it just steep enough for the castings to roll toward the funnel. I had the back set at a 2 inch rise over maybe 6 feet.

    • @electrictao5180
      @electrictao5180 4 роки тому

      @@greengregs Thank you Greg. I thought of making the slope and speed adjustable. It sounds like this may be needed for the variability of the soil.
