Cannot ague with the picks. in the video. Pt Mugu State Park - Ray Miller Trail and Mugu Peak Trail are really hard to top. Some honorable mentions Solstice Canyon in Malibu - very popular Zuma-Trancas Canyon State Park in Malibu for a long tough loop - won't see many people Laguna Coast Wilderness Park - attached to Crystal Cove has some really nice trails too - popular on weekends not too popular on weekdays except for the summer when lots of people are out on them. Parker Mesa Overlook - Topanga State Park - Very popular
Check this one out. Park at Salt Creek - Ritz Carlton - South Laguna Beach. Hike below the Ritz on the boardwalk south to Dana Point - onto the beach - climb the Rocks (first part has one hart step) now easier when I last did with a rope - hike around the cliff and through the tunnels - end up in Dana Point harbor. I recommend checking the tide schedule and you need to do it before the Lifegards are out. Old Dana from whom we got the book "Two years before the Mast" through hides down these cliffs to be collected for the merchant boat out on see.
You definitely have to stay alert! It doesn’t hurt to carry a my least a pocket knife or even bear spray if your really concerned. You can blast other animals with bear spray, doesn’t have to be just bears.
Perhaps better Rancho Palos Verdes choice a modified AllTrails of Terranea Resort that includes to East of Terranea Beach / Lost Boys Cave and to West climbing up Dina's Viewpoint [bluff] and pass Pointe Vicente Lighthouse to PV Center.
@@halohalohikers3571 After entering on Terranea Way inform the parking attendant you're here only to park (free trail parking otherwise $25 IIRC). Wonderful scenery throughout coastline, tourist trail with option to descent Pelican Cove to Toveemur Rock, Vanderlip Park Trail & Flowerfield Trail. Resort very nice with coffee shop & dining and nearby Yellow Vase by PCH & Hawthorne.
Holy fuck I didn’t realize I was watching a montage of #4 for half the video. You know what would help a lot a little bit of info in the corner like where this is and where its located on a map. Too much work?
At 5:35 it’s “Palos verdes” what you typed was pena Verde which is slang for green c*ck😂🤣

Happy hiking! Love the fact that you carry your kids along these hikes!
Tina Aziz thanks! They are great resistance training lol. They are getting bigger now so we have to make them walk a lot of the hikes.

I love hiking but some trails I've gone to have rattlesnakes, bobcats, mountain lions and Coyotes 😫

0:19 He briefly mentions AllTrails link in Description Box. Would've been great if he'd work in screenshots of AllTrails maps within actual video.
