Fisher & paykel double drawer dishwasher F1 solution.

this could possibly be a solution to why? your Fisher pickle double drawer dishwasher goes into the F1 mode which is the flood switch has been triggered and it goes into like an error mode. first, you have to figure out kind of where the water is coming from. if you can't, you need to at least pull the drawers mop up the water with a towel and then what I did was put a fan blowing on it. the circuit board area at the very bottom drawer for probably a half an hour after I cleaned it up. obviously do this with the circuit breaker off or the appliance unplugged to eliminate the risk of electric shock.

Thank you so much!!! It saved me several hundred bucks. I had an exactly same issue that the attractor somehow moved back all of a sudden and by moving it to front fixed it. Great video!
Another thing that could help others in future: if you have trouble going into the diagnostic mode, press the power button to make the panel light off, then press and hold the lock button, once you hear the beep sound then press and hold the “start/pause” button(now you should be holding both buttons). 3-5 seconds later you will be into the diagnostic mode.

thx very much for the video, but mine turned out to be way more simple to fix. I was using the wrong dish liquid !! (DOH), the suds frothed up and spilled over the drawer triggering the F1 flood error in the bottom tray. F&P recommend using powder rather than liquid (but Cascade liquid worked great as well). Oh yeah, that'll do it 100 💯😁. I've got a weak lid motor on the bottom drawer and it seems to be a cause of water leakage also.

Nevermind, I fixed it by wiping clean and drying the outer base of the dishwasher. If anyone is wondering how to do it, you need to watch a video to remove the dishwasher first. Then you can reach the outer base to clean and dry it.
