I was stressed out last night when the oc light blinked. Watched this video vacuum all the water in dishwasher and the line under sink. I also put my air compressor hose in both dishwasher drain and the line under sink. Not sure which work the vacuum or the air but did it few times. Put back together and the water is draining. Stress free thank you.
Thank you for this video. I did not know about that little piece blocking the drain pump. I took out all the filters, but this video showed the step that I needed! Thank you and God bless.
Your method worked for my dishwasher which had been out of commission for a few years before I decided to find a solution. 🤦🏻♀️ Anyway, last night it stopped draining again. I couldn’t remember the steps so I did a quick search and so glad I found your video easily. I’m going to save it this time just in case I need to refer to it again. Thanks again for sharing and showing us how to remedy this issue!
I was just about to needlessly start taking off panels to get to the impeller and your video saved me. How the pastashio shell found its' way to the impeller I may never know, but it's out now and the filters are screwed in tight bow. Thanks!
Your drain pipe is below the sink which is not good because if the water backs up from garbage disposal. The first thing that is going to hit is going to be back up to the dish washer.
@@bdmechanic4170 I have an airgap on top of the sink. Water from the dish washer will go up to the air gap and down to the garbage disposal. Because the air gap is upon the sink, water won't leak back down unless the water level raise above the sink. Most sink will have a hole cut out to put in an air gap. If it does not, the best thing you can do is to staple the dish washer hose to the top of the sink cabinet, so that water wont leak back down unless the water level goes up to the place where your hose is stapled.
I was about to give up. I have been cleaning filter regularly and still had this issue.....your video saved me time and money thank you so much My impeller was seized for some reason I was able to break whatever was stuck free and it worked
Took some wiggling for me a few tries I also was worried I'd break it Then I had to really force that impeller to move it was seized ....it should spin freely ....this video fixed my issue wouldn't have known about that impeller cover without it
Hi I have LC error in my Samsung dishwasher. After clean the impeller and hose as this video suggested, the draining clog issue is gone, but LC error is still there. Any idea what to do next?
We have a samsung dishwasher bought brand new in 2017. Worked for a year, then error code 3C came on after. The dishwasher starts, runs for about 10 minutes, then hums up and down and just flashes 3C code with water left in bottom. 3c indicates drain pump, which we replaced, but problem continues. It does drain when cycle is canceled. I checked drain filter and its all clear. Any insight?
@bdmechanic4170 I've resetted multiple times. Turned breaker off for a few minutes, then a few hours, and have completely disconnected and reconnected.
Good thought..I actually don’t know, couldn’t see the setup inside due to limited space..will take a look and get back to you..have you noticed any water with your unit?

Hi... You should have purchased a Bosch or Miele dishwasher. Those are the "BMW" and "Mercedes" of dishwashers. My house came with a Bosch and it lasted for 17 years; used it twice a day. Due to the pandemic, did not want to wait on a back ordered Bosch, so I got what the store had available and it was a Miele. I have had it for a year and use it twice a day also. I refuse to wash dishes. I Let the dishwasher do the work and no problems what so ever.
Yea, I would think Bosch would be better. They are nice and expensive. Hopefully during next renovation we can switch it over. Do you have Bosch refrigerator and other appliances? How are those?
This worked for me ! God bless you and your family ! People like you make this world a better place 😊

Watched this video and fixed our dishwasher! Thank you so much for making this!
Glad it helped!
Thanks for this video! I was unable to understand as to how to access the impeller that drains water. Followed the instructions and that helped me!

Thank you, I was struggling how to remove the drain pump cover.

That's correct, it has happened. How is yours designed?

Hello I broke the little piece 😢 any way to still take the pump out? The dishwasher has been out or commission for a while 😫
Also… check to see if your fuse is blown first!!

Thanks for your help 👍
Will try it out. Thanks
Would have been nice to watch you put it back together again. 😕

Is that small amount of water in the video normal to have?

I’m curious as well. We just bought a house and I was cleaning the dishwasher and there’s a small amount of water at the bottom there

Hola, no se si me puedes ayudar. Mi dishwasher drena y escucho como cae agua pero no suficiente y queda mucha agua adentro aún.
We have Samsung dishwasher. Water is not coming. So what we have to do?
Are you still having the issue or got resolved?
How do you fix washing machines
What kind of issues you are seeing?

@@bdmechanic4170 I have a Bosch double oven and gas cook top. They are working well. I too will replace once I renovate my home.
But my Bosch has got this problem in 1 year.
