No Naku Koro Ni(when they cry) is a very popular series of manga & visual novel games with a couple attempts to adapt it as an anime with some good some bad. technicaly it's NOT visual novels but "sound novel" ( a type of visual novels where the soundtrack is extremely important")! And for "manga" at first it's more dôjinshi ( amateur manga) it's just it's a successfull serie in japan so it had "real" manga and anims like the touhou universe that are to dôjinshi games!

@@B3NReacts It's a time commitment, but I do highly recommend the visual novel. The only thing I can ever remember being as engrossed in was the Harry Potter series as a young teen. It's absolutely remarkable.
my favorite female singer, dut one way or another katayoku no tori ( "one winged bird" this song) is NOT my favorite ( that is "pantalea") or even any games or anims song she has done ( which would be her work for the RPG game serie "ar tonelico" with as the "first one" "exec_chronicle_key" from the first game ( she do the "singing voice" of one of the reivateil in each game Misha in the first, cloche in the second and sakia in the third)!
Well I can't finish this video because it looks like it uses artwork from parts I haven't reached yet (I haven't finished the game) but I really wish this just could've been at least an amv of the anime set to the song, it'd at least give you something to look at. But I'm not lying when I say Umineko is my ABSOLUTE favourite thing of all time, even above Toaru. Its just so perfect I just can't put it into words. This opening song is the best thing about the anime by the way, I still enjoy watching it but it is a pretty bad (and unfinished) adaptation thats actually pretty ugly at times.
The only good thing about Umineko's anime is that beautiful Opening... The other Opening of the VN are also wonderful. I also saw that you reacted to Honkai Impact, without a doubt to follow your channel haha
like every "... no naku koro ni" series ( originally it's sound novel games) it's a "mystery" story with a go in "madness" it's very psychological and "hard, bloody and twisted" series that hav complicated plots and need multiples watching (and it's better to know the others series in the universe because all is linked one way or another) For me that the BEST adaptation of ANY game or novels, yes they only follow one of the "road" dut the "ambiance" is so close it's exelent! ( but CAUTION it's FAR to be a "kid" anim/game even many grown up will have dificulty with these series)!
If u can u should react to all the umineko visual novel openings . Or, every year that one chapter of the novel would come out they would make a music video called the Umineko Motion Graphic, there are 8 of them and could make an amazing react
