But my life does not depend on a computer to see the road through poor markings and poor weather where Humans cannot even see Road Markings...

So, since you do not own a Tesla, and you have no intentions of ever owning a Tesla your words, not mine or any E-Car, don’t you think that those of us who do own a Tesla, know a little bit more about what the car can, and cannot do?
So here’s the other thing, I am just speaking for myself, but I think most people would agree with me, that we’re not just interested in owning a car just for the pleasure of owning a car, and we’re not just interested in having some G whiz technology to impress our friends, our number one concern/priority is to make sure that people are safe. We want to drive the high fatality numbers down to zero, that’s what this is about, it’s about saving lives.
So Tesla has imagined a future where no one will be driving their cars, in fact, when the technology gets good enough, the goal is to produce a car that has no steering wheel, and no pedals, because the car is the robot, and in this configuration, it does not need a steering wheel or pedals to drive, it does not need a human to drive, it can drive itself, and that’s the future that Tesla has imagined.
So if that’s not the future, you’re interested in, then no one is standing in your way telling you what to do or what you cannot do. It’s your money, and you can spend it anyway you want to. Cheers 🥂

So I sure hope not, as Tesla need not be the leader in the race to the bottom, because at some point quality, features, reliability, maintainability, and capability/utility, becomes a real issue, and the last thing you wanna do is make something that is cheap, unreliable, and uncomfortable, because people want to be transported in style, and they want to be comfortable, and safe, and you can’t trade these features away like it doesn’t matter, because it does matter.
So whether we’re talking about the Robo taxi car or a passenger car that you and I would want to buy, if it doesn’t sell in the marketplace, then what is its value?
Tesla would have to not pay it's employees a decent wage with benefits and forget about environmental regulations. To be able to sell that cheap...
Then buy a Chinese low-cost car. And marvel at the "no-quality control" POS you have bought.
