大帽山飆車 Crazy Pulsar GTiR Driver at Hong Kong's famous Tai Mo Shan - PerformanceCars

- Hong Kong has a huge car following with no race tracks or drag strips. So tuners and owners of modified cars head to the mountains like Tai Mo Shan to test their cars and skills. We join a crazy but awesome Nissan Pulsar GTiR owner who regularly visits this mountain. The car was set up really well with brand new A050 tyres that he destroyed by the end of the night!
Of course, please don't copy this driver and always drive safely.

I am from both Hong Kong and UK and just discovered this channel and I'm surprised how awesome the contents are!
Nice driving and I love my pulsar GTi-R...I like the content.. Subscribed
Uphill looks so much more fun! Awesome videos, watching from NZ.
Downhill was a lot scarier as one mistake would send you over the barriers and down the mountain. Whereas uphill, the car wasn't going as fast. But a lot of fun nevertheless 😊
Great driving! that Pulsar GTIR handled spot on.
The grip levels were insane for such an old car.
Love the pulsars awesome video man!
Thanks :)
What a little weapon! Not many of these around nowadays, great to see a video on one!
A050 are coming to the UK this year 😀
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Oh really|? It's about time because A048 is 15 years old. By the time we get the A050, the A052 is out!
What a great bit of road, all that light too!;)
Awesome - great vid and great car. I’m lucky enough to have one
Love these cars. It handled that road incredibly well. I didn't know you weren't allowed to modify cars there - I lived there for two years in the early nineties and can't remember if that was the case then (of course I wasn't into modifying cars then and was there for work). I'd like to know more about the car scene and how they do it. Thnx for the great video :)
I think this has been the case for a very long time. It's a shame as car owners in Hong Kong do know how to modify their cars properly. The Honda owners get it the worst as the police always onto them. Thanks for the comment and support as always :)
love the videos!!!
Thanks for the comment and support :)
Great video!!!
:)
Nice video man, Makes me miss my GTiR... 10 years ownership and only had it on the road for around 2 years.. If you're in London it would be cool if you wanna run a video on my 650 bhp 35 GTR.
this motors in the UK now right? lol. lovely motor. crazy seeing double if its not though! lol, from interior, to under the hood, to exterior. even windscreen badge and light that dont go off on dash.lol. cool video
Awesome! Used to see a lots of GTiR on the UK road in Bristol 👍
Likewise, it's a shame they are getting really rare now. Hardly see them at car events too.
Yeah true, Recently i've seen one parked outside my neighbour house a few weeks ago.
a beautiful and tidy little beast..a wise wheel choice size-wise..
Awesome car, awesome driving!
:)
nice video mate I owe a pulsar gtir and there crazy
They look like mini stageas so cute!
Haha, never saw them like that until you mentioned it :)
He destroyed the tires so fast lol, what an excitement!
It was crazy to see the rate at which they degraded. Big shoutout to the owner though as they are super expensive!
I'm bias I have 2 very awesome car always wanted one when I first see one now I own my child hood dream car
very nice video
:)
Hii, looking good video, guy.
I love these
ya. Nissan pulsar. I've only seen one in the States. riding my bicycle on the Ocean City strip . for their annual Ocean City Mega meet and car show. the owner of the car didn't think I knew what it was. but I told him in Jamaica we have them by the thousands
They are becoming super rare as most have been broken for parts. I was wondering where they all went! The Jamaicans have them all!
Ya.lol
how did you not scream, id be screaming.
Lol Adam. It was scary but I don't think you guys would enjoy me screaming down the mic.
But Adam does like to scream!
It just doesn't seem like a smart idea to have a top mount intercooler to me. All the engine heat rises and warms it up right?
This was done by Nissan back in the 90's and a lot of owners do convert to front mount. But saying that, the temperatures never got to dangerous levels and were steady throughout the night (20 degrees Celsius). The owner did say that he doesn't get as much turbo lag with this set up as he has another GTiR with a front mount installed. Subaru also has top mount intercoolers as standard so it shouldn't be a problem for standard power.
正喎
呢喲先係Street Racing呀嗎!正撚到呢
:)
now this is my kind of car! I have one here in australia
That's great! Are there many in Australia as they seem to be falling in numbers around the world!
You should get one :)
Lol, they are good cars but I still prefer my Evo over the GTiR.
Maybe it's like Clarkson always says,if it looks slow it's actually very fast.I prefer all standard or stock as it's known. No tuning, ordinary tires and no ABS breaks.Nowadays cars are so easy to drive. It's all about the car and not the driver.
What a video.
hey mate, love your videos when you come back to the UK, let me know if you want to collab would be good. Bilal
JDMfresh that would be a good video. Your channel is also a good up and coming channel look forward to your future videos
Kevin Breslin thank you mate I appreciate that
give him a go in your TM evo6! haha. and supply him with an nsx ;)
Hey Bilal, sounds like something we can work on. Where about in the UK are you? Contact me on performancecars2.0@outlook.com
Awesome bud, will drop you an email. I'm from Northampton.
tbh, BON, on the UK's B road you have got the same excitment
I'm sure you can but the elevation of Tai Mo Shan cannot be found on UK roads. It's hard to show on the camera how steep this place is but listen to the difference of the uphill and downhill engine sounds.
only 100 came from the factory in that colour!
hong kong one famous words to describe "直路狂 彎路亡"
Was thinking why is it only at stock power? Didn't realise it was illegal to modify cars in Hong Kong
It is a big no no to even change the alloys on a car in Hong Kong. They are very strict about it hence why I had to black out the faces and number plates.
At least they can buy a GTR or Tesla and don't need to mod for more power
finally a pulsarrr
They're so hard to find nowadays and I'm glad I could film one :)
it would be better if we can see how he control the car n his raceline clearly
mate took me on this road when i was on holiday in hk. chased a few cars up and down the road. was mad fun
Sounds like you had an amazing time. Really scary though as it's just a barrier that stops you from falling down the cliffs!
PerformanceCars im used to it. i do the same here were i live lol
will admit that road in hk is steeper than the mountain roads we have here. its also great that its lit up with streetlights and you can see. we have no streetlights and have to deal with the local wildlife sitting on the road on blind corners lol.
i have one of these
in Roblox's Midnight Racing:Tokyo
every one of these has the ABS light on
looking for a dashboard for mines
That will be pretty difficult to find as these are so rare now. Good luck!
Be careful not to let Hong Kong police see this video Ai....otherwise they are going to set road blocks there again and party's over la...
Alex Jai Dude, the police force has been put road blocks on there in a regular basis already (for more than 20 years I guess...). The locals just need to drive there slowly and check around before the fun starts.
+r3420083 I know, I'm from Hong Kong myself.....and I've been there too, we seldom take videos though coz just dun wanna get unwanted attention by the HK police, and then next time they come and tow away all the cars...I really feel the pain for them too..
Alex Jai I live in Hong Kong too. My drive is GTT turbo, which the front is a bit heavy and understeer for this mountain road. Nevertheless, I know that I can't catch up the lightweight cars with good cornering, but I still love the fun of those tight corners.
+r3420083 正la...Gtt is a great car, fast in a straight line and I would say big corners, but for small corners in大山...I would say it understeers more because of its size, I use to drive a Dc5 type r when I was studying overseas, had a lot of fun in the corners too
Alex Jai Well I agree, it isn't good for TMS mountain, but around the Clear Water Bay mountain roads, the GTT would be good for some mid-speed corners. One of the GTT fun factor is that, it is only understeered for entering the corner. Once it enters the corner successfully, it starts to become oversteered easily (as a rear wheel drive should be.) Got to be calm and steady to perform its potential. :)
Still faster than Ferrari SF1000
行兩條線既中間,食晒位之餘,仲令對面線既車好危險,有咩咁勁?
有型囉,好玩囉
I always thought people drove on the right side of the road in China.
I was not in China. This was in Hong Kong buddy
Isn't Kong Kong part of China?
+Dee T It isn't buddy. Hong Kong used to be a British colony hence why they drive on the left here.
Illegal to have modified cars in HK?? Wth..
It is indeed, it has very strict car laws over there.
Ironically I see quite a few modded cars in HK
thats why i hate living in this no car culture town, its like that racing is terrorism, come on HK government, let us mod our cars just for a little bit
bro where you from , here not you place , here get other people to drive ,you always cross the double white line, this is low tech guy to showing them stupid driving skills.
好慢呀
玩車都系去番賽車場啦,馬路飛車累己累人呀!
Ken Ng 香港有就唔會咁啦
