- In this video we go over the installation of the LLJ Customs factory amp bypass T-harness 1418SAB. This harness will plug and play into the radio unit along with a PAC LP7-2 high level to low level Line output converter to install an aftermarket amplifier! this harness does not support GM or GMC vehicles with the 7" screen that is a different harness.
-What the LOC LP does is take the signal from the radio and turn it into a low level signal for your new amp to use, this is only for use with a mono amp.

I have a 2014 GMC sierra. 8" screen. Speakers on door have Bose logo but could not find amp in the back so I dont think it's a Bose system. Do you know of another way to verify if bose or not?

Thats a great question and it would depend on the signal that is offered. You aim for a low-mid rang when we select the audio signal. You would use this in conjunction with the low pass filter on your mono amp to leave out any frequencies you dont want to play. Ex: your box is tuned to play 34Hz you would hook up the harness and set the LPF at 60hz this means that regardless of what the harness gives you only frequencies from 30-60Hz will be audible from the sub.

Not sure if anyone will see this comment but, if i use the 4 channel version will the warning chime be amplified as well?
Not if you use a dsp amp that allows you to manage the intensity of that frequency. Lets say the chim is at 17khz and peek at +3db when it goes off. But after the amplifier its now +6 so if you have a DSP built in you can target that frequency 17khz and set the max DB for the 17khz -3 or 4 DB so the chim is back to normal
Does this send the sound for door chimes, telephone calls and such to the drivers side door speaker still? How would you go around not wanting all that sent through a amplified speaker?

My green plug on my 2017 Silverado only has red wire and blk wire,. When i connect harness nothing there connects the speakers,. Where would i run wire for speakers? The harness that came with my android head unit , green plug jas pirple,green , gray,and another color, but green plug unconnected from factory unit only has blk wire and red wire,. Hi jay. Yes this will work on the denalo models, however if you have a bose system then you need our bose bypass harness we have to videos on out channel on how to install and how they work. Let us know if you need anything else

if you have a pickup no if you have a sedan then yes some of the 2013-2018 gm cars do have a factory amp that is non bose

Hello Pronox, So not this particular harness. This is only for the none bose. The bose harness connects to your bose amp at the back wall and will look the same its just a different connector.

For the remote turn on wire do you have a 12v connection somewhere close to the LC7-2 you recommend using? I’ve see people use a pin in the distribution box by the driver side brake pedal. Didn’t know if you had found something easier to access
Hello cj if your looking for a 12v ignition wire the driver side dash fuse panel has 4 spots on the 22 pin connector you can use. our harnesses use the power that feeds the revers camera.

you can do the same thing and use a 4 channel T-harness but you will need to pull your own wires back to the doors. we do offer a Loopback harness that uses the factory wires to feed the new speakers. we have a few video's on that also

Does this work on 2016 chevy colorado diesel non bose system?
I have a 2016 Silverado 1500 with the 7” screen Bose system. I am not getting any real power back to the sub as I’m tied into the rear speakers thru a high input cable directly into amp. Will this harness send a higher signal for more power to the sub. I have tried this with a JX500/1 so not sure why I have no power. Anything I can buy from you that might fix this issue. I tried both loc and high input cable.

Does the 17 radio have a Video rca to add a aftermarket backup camera?
No there is not an existing rca plug. However there is a model that lets you add up to 4 cameras given that the this new vehicles work on a digital trigger. Adding a backup camera can cost 400.00 -750.00 depending on the module and the camera you go with.

Awesome video! I just got a 2018 Chevy and wanted to install an amp and a sub or two. Do you know how many watts I can safely put in it before I start stressing the electrical systems out? I don’t want to overload the alternator.
Great question. 2600 watts is the max i would suggest you do anything above that you will need to add a battery.

question so with this harness its basically tapping into all 4 channels and giving you a pig tail to plug into that specific line out converter? i plan on doing a sub amp and a mids and highs amp in my 16 sierra and was looking at getting a sound processor so i could technically extend this to the back if it has all 4 channels on it and run into basically any sound processor of my choice correct?

I’m new to this so ...I have a Silverado with 4” screen I had two subs installed but I with the volume turned up all the way the bass sounds real nice but it’s still not as loud as I expected to be. I was told to replace the factory radio but that’s last option. Will this help with my problem?

Great question Kenny, the 4 inch is a hit or miss you have to remove the screen an verify the connectors..some have the green connector with black radio box some have the brown with the silver radio box .if you let us know what you have we can show you the harness you need

Yes you could potentially get this harnesse with an lp7-4 and run that to your EQ unfortunately the clarion eq does not do base signal restoration so we could not guarantee that it would be a good choice

@@CJayyDaGoat not necessarily if your looking to have 6+ channels out to run your 4 channel amp and your mono you could do a dm608 from audio control or a dsr1 from Rockford .if you go with an dm608 or dsp then u do not need any additional loc or eq units
