Clearly the professor has unresolved issues and underlying rage that has never been dealt with. One of the most important and hardest things for us as humans to do is learn forgiveness. Forgiveness is not saying it’s ok what the other person did. It’s no longer letting affect your life in a negative way. Feeling hate and teaching it to our kids is different than understanding others individually.
The professor makes several valid points regarding institutionalized discrimination. The issue I take is that I grew up in areas that where predominantly white and predominantly low income and I saw a lot of the same issues there. The problem here may be less racial oriented and more to the fact that wealthy or middle class areas have the resources to protect themselves. There is most definitely a correlation between wealth and discrimination just as there is between wealth and education and statistically speaking black males are the most common demographic to fall out of college simply because the school systems they attended as children tend to be poorly funded inner city schools with a poor teacher to student ratio.

What this professor is saying is that we should all group up by skin color because of something that certain people of another color did. And to be fair, if it weren’t two sides of the same color fighting, he would not be able to talk on this show. The first person who tried to make a friendship with me when I transferred schools in elementary school was the only black girl in a school of 50 kids. This professor went out on a limb by speaking in generalities and Tucker is calling him out. So he is trying to defend what he said by using double speak. Doesn't look good on an educated man.

I live in the south, I’ve witnessed racism from older individuals but as a younger individual, I do have black friends. We’re obviously moving in the right direction. But to dwell on the mistakes of past generations and hold younger generations accountable for those crimes is immoral and unfair. I believe that is why Morgan Freeman believes we should stop talking about it. Nothing can be done to undo the wrongs of generations gone, we all need to look forward, not backward. The lefts whole schtick is centered around the presumption that there is systematic oppression against all colors but white. Maybe the law professor should teach his children how to be "real friends" with all people including their colored brothers and sisters. This would be more productive but requires more responsibility for their own racial community (which is why few on that side of the isle talk about it) - Just as "white" people have helped change the entire climate concerning "colored" people in the last century.... The majority of writers for popular and academic dictionaries have been white men. In the western world, as there are systems in place which privilege white people, it is not surprizing to see that the definition of racism put forward by white men is inaccurate. The professor makes several valid points regarding institutionalized discrimination. The issue I take is that I grew up in areas that where predominantly white and predominantly low income and I saw a lot of the same issues there. The problem here may be less racial oriented and more to the fact that wealthy or middle class areas have the resources to protect themselves. There is most definitely a correlation between wealth and discrimination just as there is between wealth and education and statistically speaking black males are the most common demographic to fall out of college simply because the school systems they attended as children tend to be poorly funded inner city schools with a poor teacher to student ratio.

What this professor is saying is that we should all group up by skin color because of something that certain people of another color did. And to be fair, if it weren’t two sides of the same color fighting, he would not be able to talk on this show. The first person who tried to make a friendship with me when I transferred schools in elementary school was the only black girl in a school of 50 kids. There's a stark contrast between the hopeful dream and a perceivable reality. Martin Had a dream that has yet to be fully realized. The content of one's character, as looked upon from not just a racial perspective but one across all forms of minorities in America, is known for being a victim pf prejudice through one's appearance. But even though we all are immigrants here I feel that the country needs to get up to date with paperwork and have the funding needed when they let people either immigrate or claim asylum in the country. The lefts whole schtick is centered around the presumption that there is systematic oppression against all colors but white. Maybe the law professor should teach his children how to be "real friends" with all people including their colored brothers and sisters. This would be more productive but requires more responsibility for their own racial community (which is why few on that side of the isle talk about it) - Just as "white" people have helped change the entire climate concerning "colored" people in the last century.... I'm not sure why this is never brought up by whites in the face of "racist" allegations.

I am black but disagree completely with this professor.... I think what he has committed is fallacy of hasty generalization and the views he held are absolutely racist.
I've had great, amazing and very supportive white and coloured friends. Same way I've had terrible and hostile white and black friends.
Conclusively, and sadly too, many people, both white, black or coloured hold the same view of other races as this professor and that is apparent from some of the comments here.
