This question keeps popping up, so I'll address it here:
I have a dusting/cleaning schedule in my Google Calendar (every 2 weeks), so it's not too difficult to keep things clean with minimal but regular maintenance :)
I dust my things every week.
Lol...as an action figure collector.. I'm asked about dust and cleaning every... single.... time someone knows about my hobby....lol
😀
This video showed up on my UA-cam homepage and I really enjoyed it! I like how you organized the games and how it’s unique to your collection. Great job! Fun to watch! 👍
Thank you so much! Appreciate you taking the time to comment on my video 😊
"Hey guys, Metal Jesus here..."
Real knows real
This is why i love this hobby so much, being able to see others display their own game collections is always incredible!
I absolutely love how clean your display is, like i'm genuinely jealous at how well and thought out this is put together Emily, ahh! Lol.
The Trails figures, nendos and games / steelbooks is a boost of serotonin, they're truly incredible, overall your collection / display is very aesthetically pleasing lol. The Playstation love is nice too :P
I'm glad to hear the collection video didn't disappoint 😊
Materialism at it’s worst, use emulation
@@epicwildstar1918 LOL AN EMULATION LOSER
That is a really nice collection Emily! We're all different kinds of collectors, it's really cool to see each others collections. Just like no two people are alike so is true of our collections. ❤😊
Sure… you know how much this makes you sound like a weirdo
Thanks! I enjoy seeing how others choose to design their spaces as well, and how collections are tailored to the individual :)
@@orbalology watch out, next move is he asks for your socials… then he would will be outside your window!
There is so much here that you are showing that just screams "I need this" to me! The figurines you have are all amazing and the variety of collectors editions is really nice to see. The Mishy plush is a win (Tio would agree). You did a great job theming and laying out each of the shelves with gaming or platform specific things. I didn't even know Transistor had a collector's edition! Falcom, NIS and Gust are well represented here. Well done Emily, this is a lot of fun. Much of your gaming tastes and mine are very similar but of all things here I've learned here, I need more high quality statues/figurines.
Aww thanks, I'm glad to hear the collection didn't disappoint! And the Transistor CE was made through Limited Run awhile back but you can sometimes luck out and find good deals on the secondary market for it.
I love curated collections like yours!! It tells me so much about the collector in terms of what they value, what attracts them in games, etc- which is the reason I love this hobby so much. It's both an art collection and a reflection of the person, imho!
This is great inspiration for me too- I have a much smaller collection but struggle in trying to find a way to display everything in an organized, aesthetically-pleasing way. I think you struck the perfect balance here, it's like a beautiful museum that I feel I could look through for ages. Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you so much, I'm glad to hear these shelves gave you some inspiration too :)
Wow, this collection is more dense than i did expected! Very comfy, though haha, i think these boxes are just beautiful. I would probably stare to the arts for hours
Aww thanks! It gives me a lot of comfort looking at it so I'm glad to hear it appears comfy for others too :)
amazing video and beautiful collection!! i really love your strategy on how you collect and display your library, i think its great to hyper focus on the franchises and games that mean the most to you!
when i have a larger living space i dream of having a collection and display that is similar to this!🥰
I really love the arrangement of your game collection and ratio of figures and other display pieces to actual games on your shelf. The little figures you’re using for bookends are super cute too!
Thank you! 😊
Wow this is awesome. I've never seen such elegance in a collection ever. You have the plushies, figurines & it so organized with your shelves. I also love the shelves. My collection is just 2 shelves & it's only games on there. Your collection is so neat & organized, girly touches on there too. It's so awesome to see that.
Thanks! 😁
Hi, I'm new to your channel but am loving the videos. I especially admire how you focus and build a carefully curated collection and display them beautifully. For myself, even if I don't have time to play, being able to appreciate a nicely displayed and organisef collection can give a lot of pleasure too. Subscribed! 👌
What a collection!!! Love your videos!
Such a beautiful collection! Thank you for the tour
Thanks for watching! :)
I like how you have your collection displayed. Those shelves would be ideal for displaying alot of my figures and statues. Great collection. Thanks for sharing.
This is an incredible collection ! I bet it’s even more impressive seeing it in person, definitely an impressive collection ! 🌸
Well done! I like the mix of games and statues the best!
Thank you 😁
Exquisite collection you got there! Those shelves are really neat, makes everything stand out.
Thank you!! 😁
This is incredible! Curated and evolving, I aspire to have something similar.
I love the way you talk about these items, never taking them for granted and always enthusiastic.
Yes, we've been waiting! Thanks for sharing!
Haha, hope it doesn't disappoint!
Your setup fits and flows together so naturally-wonderful vibes! Ty for sharing.
Thank you, and thanks for watching 😄
Your collection is amazing!! 🥰
Amazing, so happy for you.
Thank you :)
I am gonna subscribe just because of your taste on indie games and the Aiba figure with the collector haha I love your collection for real ❤
Really motivational!😊
Awesome collection!
Thoroughly enjoyed this! Game room tours can be SO long and this was so well done!!! Great collection BTW!!!
I know what you mean haha. It can be difficult to succinctly share our collections with others, but I tried my best 😂
I love how your collection is organized Emily! I need to set up shelves in my new home soon. Your atelier shelf is my favorite! Also I love your signed Sunmi album, 1/6 is such a great summer listen! I hope you have a great weekend Emily! 😊
Thanks Olivia! Best of luck with your upcoming move - hope you can setup some fantastic shelves there. And haha thanks! I was surprised when I won her signed album off of Makestar, her solo music is great. Hope you are having a lovely weekend too 😊
Awesome stuff!
I love the shelves you're using, they're big and deep which helps you organize your collection in segments and themes beautifully! You've been keeping this amazing collection from us for the longest time due to lack of space and it's amazing to see everything fully displayed and for us to see! Absolutely stunning Emily! Can't wait to see it grow!
Thanks Cesar! I'm really happy that I'm now able to share all these with you guys too :)
Looks very clean and curated. This video motivated me to finish all those “I’ll get around to it” tasks with my own shelves. Love the CS3+4 boxes especially
Thanks! And NISA did an awesome job with those Cold Steel limited editions :)
Amazing collection Emily! There's so much variety here and it's organised so well!
Thank you Milla! It was a lot of fun to put together & I'm excited to see how it'll continue to shape over time :)
Nice collection, the way you've displayed the figures in front of the games looks really good!
Also like how you've broke up the game areas with items like the Anubis statue
Hoping to travel to Japan later this year, will definitely need to look out for fire emblem figures while I'm there, after see how good they look as part of your collection
Thank you, hope you can find some great deals in Japan! The FE figures I have seem to be well stocked so you may be able to find them at a good discount :)
Great collection, Emily! Very nice, simple, and clean to look at! Love to see it hehe :D
Thanks so much! 😊
I absolutely love the setup, As a huge trails of fan i love how you have everything displayed. working at a collectables store i always tried to collect for anything niche like the trails games that came through the doors. and its good to see someone with a sakuna of rice collectors lol. i never see that in anyones collection that i watch on youtube
Thank you so much! Yeah I don't see Sakuna of Rice & Ruin as often in collection vids either.
I'm a fairly new subscriber and viewer to the channel and I'm so happy to see your shelf with your collection. It looks so nice and I can appreciate the organization and everything. Thanks for showing it off! 😎
Thank you! Glad to hear you enjoyed watching 😊
Such a wonderful collection! Thank you so much for sharing! I just started to collect as a student, and just recently bought my first DS game.
Thanks for watching! Glad to hear you enjoyed it :)
Hi Emily, lovely to see your channel rise like a rocket!
Love the collection, especially the Trails part. Trails deserves to get bigger in the west. I've been a collector since the first Cold Steel released in English.
I hope your previously mentioned plans of streaming are still on track!
Thank you! As far as streaming goes I still need to look into a setup/equipment. But I'm hoping to make it happen sometime this year :)
Great collection! Congrats!
Thank you :)
Lovely setup! That Ori CE looks incredible! Great video, Emily! 😀
Thanks Jay! The Ori CE turned out really nice - I have Psychonauts coming (though it was delayed again) from iam8bit so I have high hopes that CE will be beautiful too.
An amazing setup, Emily! I know for me it's always nice to retreat to my game room at the end of a long day, if for nothing else to take a moment to admire your collection or pull an artbook off the shelf to thumb through. One Piece seems like quite the undertaking from a manga/anime perspective, but I've been looking for an anime to start watching so I think I'm going to give it a try since you've spoken highly of it a number of times 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
very cool display shelves and really great collection and arrangement. I like to display my games in alphabetical order by spine design. (i.e if collecting for PS2, I display all black labels together in alphabetical order. Then red labels all together in alphabetical order). This set up works well if concerned about aesthetics on a shelf. Especially if you collect PS3 games. The variation in spine labeling was crazy for that specific console.
Oh I've seen how horrendous the PS3 spines can get! 😂 Not too sure if I'll be able to collect for that console just yet, but who knows what the future may hold :)
Very nice collection, congratz
I’ve been waiting on this 😁😁
Also congrats on 18k! It’s so crazy last summer I was searching for Nintendo Switch collection videos and found yours! It’s amazing to see how far your channel has grown from around 100 subs to 18k🎉
Thank you so much. 18K is pretty wild to me too 😅
@@orbalology yeah it’s pretty crazy! I’m currently at work now but I’ll definitely finish watching this video when I’m on my break
I can't get enough of your display! I absolutely love how you integrated figures into your gaming display. I'd like to add the Kotobukiya Rixia Mao figure was released. I hope you decided to get her and have plans to do an unboxing. Your unboxing videos are lovely so fingers crossed you'll be doing one of this particular figure.
I may have a video for Rixia coming soon 👀
You have such a great channel and collection!
Thank you so much :)
That's a great collection. Well done!
SO AMAZING
Thanks for sharing your displays Emily, they look awesome! You've got such a wonderful selection of games, too 😄
Thank you so much Mandy 😆
Love the collection! ❤️
Thanks!! 😊
Awesome to see. Glad you can finally display your collection for yourself and us.
Me too!! 😊
I love your collection it’s so cool
Love this video! I love how you display your collections by series and if I had the space in a game room, I think I’d totally do the same. I myself currently have all my figures in closets or sealed on top of my book cases because of lack of space. My video games are all by systems on different shelves in alphabetical order. I love how you did yours! Great collection and awesome video as always ❤
Thanks Alie! You have a great collection too from what I've seen on Twitter - but I feel you about struggling with space! I worry that my shelves will fill up to capacity more quickly than expected 😅
Great collection and organization
That is an amazing collection! I love all of the figures you've gotten displayed. I definitely need to get the Pyra and Mythra figures soon. Thanks for sharing and I'm looking forward to seeing what you add in the future.
Thank you so much! And yes the Pyra & Mythra figures are definitely worth it 😆
Absolutely loved your tour. The way you have your games organized by genre is pretty unique. Never seen so many visual novels together before 🤯
Awesome collection, I really like how you organize everything by franchise and genre, plus the figures and collector's editions adds a nice touch.
I really like the idea of having game shelves in a single corner, very different setup than mine (traditional book/game shelves that are side by side) so you can really appreciate everything you have more easily.
I have a blast organizing my collection, everything is pretty much by alphabetical order and console, although with separate shelves for the few collector editions and figures I own.
Lately, I started collecting strategy guides, game soundtracks and artbooks and have recently started a goal of hunting down every Final Fantasy guide.
Looking forward to your future videos and game room corner updates =)
Thanks! I've been looking into expanding more into OSTs & artbooks as well. There are so many cool things out there haha.
Very clean and nice setup!
Thanks!
I love collection videos. Love seeing what everyone has they just comfort me.
Thank you! I really love collection videos too 😊
Looks amazing! Looking for inspiration to start building a Trails collection, and yours looks pretty clean!
Thanks, I appreciate it 😊
Nice set-up! I appreciate the wooden section of the shelves. It makes it look better. I could use something like this for my figures/Pops/Statues.
I really liked your collection, and your shelves are very stylish. I envy your Cold Steel steelbooks, I missed out on purchasing them when they first became available. On a side note, I completely understand what you mean about rearranging your collection; for me, organizing my books in a creative and cool-looking way is almost as much fun as reading them.
Thanks! And collection organizing and curating is so fun. It's a lot like solving a puzzle in trying to figure out how to rearrange things when new additions come in.
Nice collection!!
Well that was cool. I just got done organizing some of my collection. Mostly switch, 3ds and gba sp. Then come across this video. Awesome collection and put together very nicely! Thanks for sharing.
Oh good timing! And thank you 😄
It’s here (and so nice!) I find so many similarities between myself and you from interests to collecting “philosophy” - I also definitely want to collect the few albums I love + have themed shelves based on series. it’s really refreshing since most collectors I’ve come across usually don’t share those things with me lol
Thanks! And glad to hear we share a similar collecting philosophy. Curated collections make the hobby so much more fun hehe.
It looks like you put a lot of effort into the presentation of it all. It looks really unique. I love those shelves with the circle pieces that fit together.
Thanks! :)
Really nice collection!
Thanks! :)
Your Collections are awesome!!🍻🍻
Also Thank you for sharing so I could search which items that I’ve still lost,, btw beware of the sunlight that close to your collections may effects on fading the color
I actually had studio lights on while filming - my shelves don't have any direct sunlight shining onto them :)
Awesome vid; definitely need to build up that PS collection. And your switch collection is pretty epic
Haha yup, I still have lots of work to do on the PS collection 😂
Ok eow this is incredible, not also seeing stuff I never knew about but all the old school consoles I owned as a kid as well. I'm geeking out like mad. Incredible collection you have here ! 😄🤩
Thank you so much! :)
Your collection looks amazing! Truly a room to be proud of!
Thank you so much! 😊
I liked seeing all the Falcom stuff, I'm a big fan of their games. Your collection is very cool! Nice video!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
Beautiful collection and display 💙 extra points for the atelier and Zelda display
Can’t wait to see the collection grow
Thank you Mandy, I can't wait too 🥰
Awesome collection 😍
Thank you 🤗
Great collection! Would love to see your gaming setup. 🔥
Awesome collection. I really like the layout.
Thank you 😊
Very awesome collection and shelving display 👏👏
Thank you :)
What a collection 😊 great video
Thank you! 😄
Those shelves are so wonderfully organised, such a fantastic collection, I'm a little jealous!
Thank you so much! 😊
Wow Emily you have definitely gathered a lot of games and game accessories! I especially love your fire emblem shelf! Keep collecting ❤
Thank you 😊
I love all your rambling especially when you're talking about something you very much, enjoy! 💙☺️💙 Gamer for life 🧬🎮
Glad you enjoyed, thanks for watching :)
Looks amazing
Thank you :)
Youre collection is quite impressive n amazing im Just starting my Nintendo Switch Collection im also looking foward 2 see your next aquisitions!
Thanks! Best of luck with your collections - the Switch is a lot of fun to collect for :)
Magical Starsign! A game I haven't thought about in a long while. Very nice collection!
Thank you :)
Loving those shelves. I may have to buy some
Great video. The shelves look great and I liked seeing the little nicknacks you had on each shelf.
I used to display my games alphabetically. When I move and eventually get new shelves, I will probably do the same again. But I'm not exactly sure how I will display my collection, as I only get one small room in our apartment 😂 Gotta make it count!
Really glad to see you have something that works for you!
Thanks Tommy! And nothing wrong with the tried & true alphabetical ordering. Hope you're able to find a setup that works in your new space too :)
Love this. ❤
Thank you :)
awesome game collection!
That Pyra figure looks fantastic! And you just have so many cool figurines. I'm amazed at how neat all of your display looks. It's super clean! 👍👍
She looks really great, and thank you 😊
great video, thanks a lot :)
Thank you :)
That's is one curated collection hats off to you. ❤
Thank you 😊
Great video Emily, Thanks for sharing!
Love how you group your favourite game franchises together, it really showcases all the wonderful pieces you have collected. Can really see all the thought you put into your display and you have space left to grow 😊
I also organise my video games by genre and loosely by publisher thought I was the only one lol, it makes sense to me. I find it really helpful when deciding which game I want to play!
Do you collect Nintendo Amiibo's?
Thanks Avril! :)
I haven't gone down the Amiibo rabbithole just yet (though I picked up a FE Chrom a few years ago, just not sure where to put him still lol).
Such a well organized collection! Also I’m not sure if you’re into pc gaming, but if so a desk setup tour would be nice to see in the future if possible.
I've been looking into getting a gaming PC actually! Not totally sure when it'll happen but hopefully someday :)
Great Tour , need to get my game room finished and share a tour 👌👌
Game room tours are always fun :)
Woah that OP collection especially that color week compendium 😍
It's a nice art collection! I need to buy the other one that came out still 😅
This is an awesome! I love how its organized and themed, everything really flows well! I’m a little jealous tbh 😂
Thank you! And hey, hopefully this setup helped inspire the possibilities of what you can do with yours :)
Very nice shelves. Appreciate the Valkyria Chronicles 4 at the top
Wow, incredible collection Emily. Videos like this always make me envious since I really only have one small bookcase for all my games with a little overflow shelves here and there. Don't get me wrong I'm happy with it and love it, but just seems so small compared to others lol
Oh I don't think the any setup is better than another. It all comes down to how you feel about it & shaping it to reflect what you enjoy that's unique to you. Be it one shelf or a huge library that fills up an entire room, the intent behind it is all that matters :)
You go girl !!! Love the collection showed my daughters and they don’t feel weird anymore as young up and coming collectors themselves lol
I'm always so taken aback by the amount of upkeep that goes into our hobby.
I just throw my crap together and hope for the best, but yours has a rhyme and reason. Brava.
Like with many hobbies I suppose some like to take it to an extreme lol. But nothing wrong with how you organize your collections :)
Very Awesome !!!!♥
Thanks 😄
