As a fellow Dentist who also has been collecting for the last 25 years, I'm happy to see such passion in what you love. I don't know what it is about Dentists and collecting video games, I know so many us collect video games for some reason. I recently downsized my collction due to haveing to move alot (3k+ items, complete licensed and unlicensed NES sets). I still have some trade left from my downsizing, if you are interested. Keep up the amazing work!
I see all your awesome stuff in the High End group. Fascinating story about your Air Raid carts. I can say the same thing about dentists and hobbyist computer programmers-I once worked on a game project that was mainly done by me and another dentist :)
@@tcurtis49 thanks! I'm all about preserving the history as you are. I wish I could have kept my collection, but I'm happy with m,y small currated collection.
I like how you showed your beginning stages because most people see where you’re at and think it’s un achievable but you showed your progression. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Absolutely epic collection. I’ve been a gamer my whole 42 years of life but I’ve only been collecting since 2017. You showed everyone with passion anything is possible
It’s really just a matter of accumulating things I liked over time-and it really added up. I’m glad so many people collect and enjoy this hobby these days. I see so many cool collections. Thanks!
It's mindblowing that you are a Dentist but have this hobby and extensive knowledge of electronics restoration. Your collection is probably the best I've seen. I mean, even TWO World Championships cartridges?? Just amazing.
Finally, UA-cam coming through with an amazing channel suggestion. I am floored by your determination and skills, not to mention your taste in the classics. Cheers!
Get a "Defender" game if you can (or want). I think it was by Williams. Hard game, but worth it when you conquer the learning curve. Lots o' fun! I'm envious of your game rooms! Thanks for the fun.
I’ve had that recommendation a lot lately and it is one if the few classics I don’t have, And I agree, it’s hard…but I did like playing it when I was a kid.
2 NWCs and a boxed Stadium Events plus complete CIB black box collection?!?!!? Plus SO many people don’t realize how rare that Athletic World box is. You sir are a legend!
I remember playing Tempest on the pool deck at a hotel a short distance away. As in jump out of the pool, put in a quarter, and play it with water dripping everywhere. It was great fun, though!
I have a whole video dedicated to the restoration of it. It was quite a journey from an open field to the middle of my basement! Good luck with your collection journey!
Thanks for sharing. Many found memories of the same game. Did you ever visit Spaceport during your time in Bloomington? Marble Madness at IMU was a favorite of mine.
Absolutely! Spent a lot of quarters at Aladdin’s Castle in the College Mall growing up and occasionally made it to Spaceport as a teenager. Played a lot of Dragon’s Lair there. I think Marble Madness was gone from the IMU while I was in college there-I remember playing Ivan Ironman Stewart Racing with my friends quite a bit.
Just came across your channel yesterday, guess the algorithm knew what I would like. This is the most insane game collection I have seen on youtube. Simply mindblowing. It makes me wish I would have started seriously collecting 15 years ago, not 5. Your arcade restorations are also super interesting, I hope you keep showing them!
Thanks so much! No idea how the algorithm started featuring my content but I'm glad so many people can enjoy it with me. I am definitely way fortunate to have been in on the early years of collecting when the focus was more on keeping things from being thrown away than anything else :)
The VirtualBoy kiosk is super cool. I remember playing that in Sears every time I was able to go. I keep hoping one will pop up in good condition and for a decent price around me (although I don't see it happening in Italy while we're here!). Also, the boxed Game Gear is awesome. I had every accessory for it back in the day (even the TV cart) and had a blast. I wish my past self had kept all of my games and systems...but that's how it goes.
That kiosk is definitely one of my favorites. I wish I hadn’t gotten rid of some of my stuff as well, but I’ve been fortunate to find a lot of cool things over the years :)
Love the road trips. That truck has served me well. My youngest son Graham went with me to pick up Race Drivin. We very nearly ran out of gas in Illinois when we had a huge stretch of interstate with no stations. Basically drifted into one on fumes. That was a long day…but the fun really begins after unloading and trying to get these games up and running again. Thanks for the kind comment!
Wow you have a nice collection. I love your arcade racer collection. Virtua racing amazed me as kid and I had to play all the Sega racing games after that. I mean I gre up with Outrun and hang on but Vitua racing was just on another level with the ability to do separate cockpit views and the 2 to 4 or 6? player cabinets. Out of all my childhood arcade memories though Id love to find a full afterburner arcade again. With the motorized "cockpit"? I found one in a mall once and I must of dropped 30 bucks into it. 😂😂
I like the racing games a ton and just picked up another one for a small restoration (details to come). I did have an Afterburner for a while with the shaking flight stick but it wasn't the full sitdown.
I really need to spend more time in there playing games myself. I’m always too busy moving to the next project. But we certainly love having people play them!
my god im so envious of ur collection, the history that u have in your collection is truly insane, makes me wish i did better in school and life, you're truly a blessed man
For as many people who had c64 systems it is hard to find games. I still have my boxes but loaned all my 5 1/4” floppies to someone else way back in the day and never saw them again..
Unbelievable. Man, your channel is the bomb. The collection, the stories, your presentation, this is the real deal! This Chanel should get much more views in my opinion. I’m in love. Going to wait for more videos. Keep ‘‘em coming!
Games I always played were Spy Hunter, Dragon's Lair, Tron, Star Wars and Afterburner the one where you sit in and the chair moved. I had Dragon's Lair on laserdisc and could play it on my T.V. and use the disc player remote. Love your collection!
Love those games as well. I had an upright Afterburner for a while but sold it a few years ago to make room. If I ever find a full sitdown I'm going to grab it. I keep an eye out for the others you listed as well but they go for a premium. Cool way to play Dragon's Lair!
Your channel is my new favorite channel. Seeing the collection brings me back to my days as a kid playing video games. I love your Atari 2600 display and by far it was the system I loved the most in my childhood. I am inspired that display and have been thinking about a project to display different game systems, and seeing your collection and display has really got my imagination clicking. Have you ever encountered the Atari Lynx portable. I delivered so many papers to save up for a portable game and that was my choice. Mainly because they had APB as a game, and quickly fell in love with Klax. Such a great video, thank you.
Much appreciated! I did indeed have an Atari Lynx back in the day but didn't use it very much. We got a Sega Nomad and played it quite a bit more. I'd like to get one again--I don't have one in my collection.
What an incredible collection! I was born in 1995 so most of this was before me. However, I respect the history of the entertainment medium I love so much. The N64 and Zelda: OOT is what started it all for me. Love that it's your favorite on the N64, just happens to be my favorite game of all time!
Everything about this is incredible. The attention to detail, the time it took to obtain, restore, display your collection is astounding. Even the filming, editing and footnotes were done well. Good job, Sir.
So clean. I see alot of nice collections that are just a mess and not organized. Some people have no idea how to make a place or collection look clean and professional. GG
It’s definitely hard to keep rearranging things to not look overwhelming or too cluttered. We had to do quite a bit more after getting the Sega display cabinet in my latest video. Right now I’m trying to figure out a way to get two more arcade games into the collection-they will be the subject of my next two videos more than likely. Thanks for watching and thanks for the compliment!
I think it's safe to say you have one of the largest, pristine, highly curated collections in the entire world...if not THE largest. I've truly never seen anything like it. I've watched all your restoration videos and thought your collection was the greatest ever, and at that point I had only seen what was in your basement! I know this is a personal collection, but as someone who grew up with a NES, gaming was always a big part of my life. It's just nice to know that there are people out there like you preserving gaming history to this level. So many thrown away boxes from the 80's! (of which I'm guilty of) If i lived by you i know where i'd be getting my teeth cleaned
Haha, thanks! There are definitely larger and more valuable collections out there but mine really reflects what memories I wanted to hang onto. I definitely have a dual hobby with the console games and the arcade games but it’s all great nostalgia for the 80’s :)
This was stunning!! Over the years, I have seen hundreds of various gamerooms across youtube, but this one HAS to be one of my favorites! I think it's the arcade carpet you put on... Regardless of the impressive size, display and rarity of your collection, I think the thing that absolutely sold me on the video was your enthusiasm and small tidbits of information on each item you showed off! It really showed off your passion and care for your collection and it was a joy to watch. Keep up the good work!
Wow! Thanks for the nice comments! I am busy working on something new (to me) for the collection room and hope to get another video out by the end of the month. I’m glad you enjoyed this one.
Wow! What an incredible collection! I enjoyed the whole video of you showing it off. I hope you get a nice display cabinet for all your big box PC games one day!
I would love to have a dedicated section for PC and even earlier gaming. I have many classic computer systems going all the way back to my original TI99/4A that I got in 4th grade. Most of my big box games are my personal ones from back in the day and they need more glory :)
Nice video! A few things that caught my eye from your collection were Robotron (which would be the first game I'd play), The Police Quest game, Final Fantasy and I believe I spied a commodore 64. But the entire collection is awesome.
Loved those games, although I was more into Dragon Warrior on the NES. Definitely C64s in view-I did a ton of programming on them and we all traded cracked games back in the day. You can show us how to really play Robotron :)
Such a fantastic collection hope you do some game hunting videos or more videos on the collections . Great to see some vintage pc and c64 big boxes you don't see them enough in collection's
Thanks! I just wrapped up a Sega Genesis collection and took some game-hunting footage along the way so I may include that as a video sometime. C64 and Big Box PC collecting does seem to be growing. Those games bring back a lot of memories for me.
@tcurtis49 awesome ill look out for it . I found your channel via a recommend of the Nintendo tent arcade. And yes there's an increasing big box collecting community out there especially on fb .
Phenomenal !!! If you have time you may want to make a trip to Columbus Ohio for TORG. This year the event will be 2 days long !!! You got a bell ring here !!!! Happy Collecting man !!!
Amazing restoration work. Great nostalgia, watching this video there were so many moments where I was like "I remember that!" Thank you for preserving history. The store kiosk displays are super cool.
I was really nervous back in the day to take perfectly fine basement carpet out and replace it with something so crazy, but it's awesome :) Now I see a lot of collections with cool 80s arcade carpets and I love it!
When I was a teenager back in the early 80's I used to play the original Mario Brothers arcade game. I was able to get the score up to where the game would freeze because it didn't go any higher all 9's.
That game is on my kids’ wish list. There was a wide-body” version with a shorter than normal cabinet that was more common…I’ve been keeping my eyes out for one :)
Nice! I didn't know you had a UA-cam channel, but I remember seeing some of this in the documentary 'Nintendo Quest' several years ago. You've gained a subscriber!
Wow, what an inspiring collection! I'm super impressed, especially with all the restoration work you've had to do. I didn't see a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A. That is my earliest memory of video gaming and think would fit perfectly in your collection.
It's not seen in the video but not only do I have a TI-99/4A, I have my own original TI-99/4A that I got new when I was in 4th grade so I could do programming in BASIC. I have some vintage computers here and there as I too have a lot of memories with those systems.
Awesome! That was my 1st little PC when I was 7 yrs old. Lol! Parsec was my jam on that. As I got older, I loved putting in what felt like hours upon hours of code to change the screen color from green to purple. 😂 wish I still had mine.
Omg i ve played this snes kiosk in 1992 in LA, set up with mario cart. My brother and me spent the whole vacation in there.... 😂 That one time i was in USA. Greetings from germany.
Just found the channel. Great content. Love your home arcade, but it looks like you'll soon need to move for more space ;) Keep up the excellent work. Cheers!!
Tod unreal collection mate, totally inspired to get on with my own collection. Will follow your future content! You should have alot more subs then this! Lee UK.
Thanks! Get to it on your collection :) Next video will be a Pole Position arcade restoration which should be ready soon. Then a Nintendo World Championships video and more of the video game collection. Still a fairly new channel and hopefully will reach more people eventually. If not, we’ll have fun without them!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've continued to expand and rearrange since this video. I have the Sega Cabinet video for part of the expansion and am about to add a video on a crazy Tron arcade restoration. Thanks for the sub--I'm nearing the 1,000 mark!
Thanks again for sharing your wonderful collection and passion Tod. It insprires me to keep collecting the various video games, trading cards, and comics I love even with a family and one day having the space to display it even half as nicely as your collection.
I love seeing all collections big and small. It’s a great hobby and finding stuff that gives you joy is the whole point. Good luck on all your collecting endeavors!
This collection is very clean and displayed so well. You can tell that you pay attention to every aspect/detail and have a passion for this. Its so crazy that retro games have become so rare and expensive mostly due to the illegal market pumping and collusion teqniques of selfish individuals/companies. There is no place in this hobbie for those who only wish to get rich off of the great things we love so much. Its refreshing to see a real collector who is an orthodontist of all things. Ironically because other dentist who called himself a collector was really just trying wata too hard i mean way . The whole truth is starting to come out. I really enjoyed seeing you let not only that stadium events go but the little sampson and the bonks adventure in that nintendo youtube movie. I have mixed emotions on that piece of...media but i really enjoyed your involvment. Love your contemt and keep up the great work. Apologies for the comment being all over the place ans way too long.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I’m definitely a collector for the main reason that all of these games bring back fantastic memories from my younger days and I want to preserve them. No worries about the all over the place comment-it’s all good :)
Kiosk collecting groups on Facebook, FB Marketplace, occasionally eBay. Back in the day many were on Craigslist. They are much harder to find now than years ago.
The rug really ties the room together
Haha! Perfect :)
That’s just like your opinion man
I absolutely love the carpet it really brings the nostalgic aesthetic of the room together
I get more comments on the carpet than anything else :) It was a bold decision at the time but I’m glad we did it. Especially in the arcade section.
im in complete shock and awe this is amazing all the rare kiosks and the presentation and the cozyness its amazing 10/10
Thanks! I truly appreciate that :) Glad you enjoyed it.
Your kids will never be allowed to say “im bored theres nothing to do”
No, they are not, And we had nearly all their birthday parties in the basement just ordering pizza and turning the games on :)
This is not just an expensive collection, it's one of the cleanest and coziest game rooms I've ever seen.
Great work
Thanks!

Small world I live in Salina KS! Love the tour and beautiful collection!!
Thanks! My only trip there and it was extremely short :) Maybe I’ll find something else there and make a return trip!
Amazing you live the dream!
2 NWCs and a boxed Stadium Events plus complete CIB black box collection?!?!!? Plus SO many people don’t realize how rare that Athletic World box is. You sir are a legend!
Even stranger is that the Stadium Events and Athletic World are from the same original source-both were dropped off at a Goodwill in Gastonia, SC.
Ahhh those sweet years when Goodwill didn’t post the good stuff on eBay. I miss those years.
Tempest! Man one of my favorites, Zaxon was another that I loved. Hard game.
I remember playing Tempest on the pool deck at a hotel a short distance away. As in jump out of the pool, put in a quarter, and play it with water dripping everywhere. It was great fun, though!
that is an amazing collection!! 😲😲
easily the best tour ive ever seen and ive watched maybe a thousand. everything is just so tastefully done
Thanks! That’s very kind!
Approaching 40 myself and slowly building my collection. 3:32 Love the duo red system. Thanks for sharing!
I have a whole video dedicated to the restoration of it. It was quite a journey from an open field to the middle of my basement! Good luck with your collection journey!

One of my favorite parts of Nintendo Quest was seeing your rad game room! Awesome video!
Thanks! Hard to believe that was 10 years ago…seems like they were just here looking through everything :)
That gameboy kiosk is incredible. Also enjoyed the c64 games. I recently got one myself but finding games has been hard.
For as many people who had c64 systems it is hard to find games. I still have my boxes but loaned all my 5 1/4” floppies to someone else way back in the day and never saw them again..

Happy Birthday Todd Misty sent me!!!
Holy cow! I wish my orthodontist had an awesome arcade when I was 12 and had braces. Your collection rocks!
Me too! The office I went to only had Road and Track magazines…and thanks for the compliment!
3 min sin and I'm in love. I want just a fraction of this. So jealous
The first sentence sounds like something someone would say to a prostitute.
Wow!…just incredible! Collection of a lifetime! 👌🏻
Thanks! It pretty much encapsulates my lifetime. Glad you enjoyed it!
I love that you put down the old arcade carpeting. It's a nice touch!
Thanks! It is definitely eye-catching!
What an incredible collection! I was born in 1995 so most of this was before me. However, I respect the history of the entertainment medium I love so much. The N64 and Zelda: OOT is what started it all for me. Love that it's your favorite on the N64, just happens to be my favorite game of all time!
Thanks! Some of it predates me just barely but the cool thing is you have so much to find and explore from all eras of gaming, Glad you enjoyed it!
Everything about this is incredible. The attention to detail, the time it took to obtain, restore, display your collection is astounding. Even the filming, editing and footnotes were done well. Good job, Sir.
Thanks-that’s much appreciated :)
This is an absolutely beautiful collection of gaming history!!!! Well done, sir. I also love your arcade restoration videos!
Thanks!
Beyond how cool the entire collection is, its great to see them restored and preserved with so much care.
Thanks so much!
I was on sensory-overload after about the four minute mark. And a fantastic rub, by the way.
Thanks!
This is an insanely cool collection. My gosh.
Thanks!

Gorf is my absolute favorite arcade game of all time also! You have a beyond amazing collection. Great work!!!
Thank you so much! Gorf rules!
The Nomad was indeed a wicked system! Cindy has great taste!
Thanks, I spent many happy hours playing it. Fun side note, I persuaded Tod to make the Sega wall in the game room.🙂
One of the best collection videos!
Awesome share!

@Tod's Video Games and More! Awesome! Looking forward to whatever it may be!
love this game room. Definitely my favorite on youtube.
Thanks!
Wow! What an incredible collection! I enjoyed the whole video of you showing it off. I hope you get a nice display cabinet for all your big box PC games one day!

Really nice collection! So much nostalgia. That large gameboy is awesome.
Thanks! It’s certainly a really cool display item :)
Misty sent me...happy belated birthday. This is an awesome collection. Thank you for sharing.
Amazing collection! Loved the Pac Man arcade machines. The C64, The original EQ and Vanguard boxes. Great job filming and narrating this collection!
Good eye! Did you happen to spot the WoW server blade in the video? It was the server I played on when the game launched.
That carpet just fits so well with the rest of the stuff! Great collection.
cool collections, I can say how much love you put in to your space
Absolutely amazing collection. Could actually be my favorite collection I have seen to date. Top 5 for sure
Thanks! Appreciate the positive comments :)
Amazing collection! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks!
Jeezus you got a sick collection.
This is absolutely insane! It sounds like we are right down the road from eachother as well.
Thanks! And yes, not too far away.
@@Retromicky82 Yeah I’m a member of a couple of groups on there. Mostly just lurking.
Phenomenal !!! If you have time you may want to make a trip to Columbus Ohio for TORG. This year the event will be 2 days long !!! You got a bell ring here !!!! Happy Collecting man !!!
I was at TORG last fall. Had on my Ugly Sonic costume for the contest :)
@@tcurtis49 awesomeness!!! I probably seen yall or sneaked a clip or two lol 😆
Amazing restoration work.
Great nostalgia, watching this video there were so many moments where I was like "I remember that!" Thank you for preserving history. The store kiosk displays are super cool.
Thanks, Tom! We truly grew up in a fantastic era. I remember playing the Atari 2600 at your house--Ms. Pacman and Yars' Revenge come to mind.
I would happily pay to visit this museum
I’m hoping to visit the big video game museum in Texas someday. Would definitely dwarf mine :) Thanks!
My favorite thing is the carpet.
Haha. Yep, that was me. Cool experience for sure :) Thanks!
Absolutely in awe of your collection, your variety of kiosks is incredible! Congratulations on tour collection and youtube channel.
Thanks! Hope to have plenty of fun deep-diving into some of the cool stuff over time.
One of my favorite places to visit and one of my favorite people. Love this, Tod!
And you are one of the collection's favorite people :) Thanks!
Omg i ve played this snes kiosk in 1992 in LA, set up with mario cart. My brother and me spent the whole vacation in there.... 😂 That one time i was in USA. Greetings from germany.
Wow! That sounds like a fun vacation! Seems like we have a lot of viewers from Germany. Maybe I'll get over there someday :)
Just found the channel. Great content. Love your home arcade, but it looks like you'll soon need to move for more space ;) Keep up the excellent work. Cheers!!
Thanks! Yep, space is definitely an issue--I keep rearranging and fitting things in but it's getting tight!
900th subscriber! It's so much fun seeing the fruits of your lifelong passion. Thanks for the tour!
Your collection is wild 😮😮😮
holy smokes. Awesome room.
Misty sent me! Very cool games!
great taste.GORF....played my heart out on the commodoreC64 like there was no tommorow.cherish this since then
It's a great one!
Now I know where I want to go for my whole vacation. LOL Love the video!
Haha. Thanks!
Incredible collection Mr. Tod!
Happy Birthday Tom🎉 Misty sent me!! 😁
It looks nice and organized , well done
Thanks!
WOW wuttah collection! BTW misty sent me! and I must say it didn't disappoint!
How big is this dudes house, seems as big as a small office building with so many different rooms of games and arcades. Pretty amazing✨
The overflow collection is at another site. My house can't handle it all :)
Incredible
Pls keep making these videos. I remember playing them when I was in HS.
You have legitimately the coolest collection I’ve ever seen. How do you find the arcade units and kiosks that are for sale?
Kiosk collecting groups on Facebook, FB Marketplace, occasionally eBay. Back in the day many were on Craigslist. They are much harder to find now than years ago.
