Here’s a little fun fact. If you ever need to relive your DS memories with those games, there is a backwards compatibility for Nintendo 3DS, which you can play DS games again.
It's fantastic that your whole family liked gaming. It definitely makes it easier to get games and consoles! You have a really nice collection that holds a lot of memories. I got heavily into gaming when I got my two daughters. I could justify the expense of collecting hundreds of games with the excuse it was for them!😄. We all had DS, DSi, 3DS etc. and a large library of games. All the normal Fire Emblems, Mario, Kirby, Professor Layton, and all of the Pokemon titles. I loved a game called Elite Beat Agents, a rhythm game with a great art style and stories. Of course Final Fantasy Tactics A2 and I loved a spin off of Dragon Quest called Rocket Slime. What a fun game! Also Elebits, very cute! I still play my 3DS (with both DS and 3DS carts) as well as PS Vita and Switch. Thanks for a look back at your collection, very enjoyable!
Love your collection. I have the DSi XL Red Bundle with Mario Kart. A birthday present from mom. Got loads of games as well. Miss those fun days. It's still a joy when I do get time to play.
I played Gameboy Advance hardcore when I was a kid and missed the DS cause I was busy with the PSP. Thank god the 3ds is backwards compatible cause that opens up the library to a shocking amount of quality video games that can be played on the go! Great video and amazing collection!
I felt like this about the original DS, with its backwards compatibility with the Advance. Never would have gotten to enjoy Golden Sun and so many other fun games!
@@beckyhammond5869 Some video game consoles can play games from the previous hardware generation, or more. The Nintendo 3DS can also play regular DS games, for example.
Hello. I am Japanese. I was envious because I had never seen a Mario rhythm game in Japan. I recommend a game called That's Cutie. It's a game that sells clothes.I'm sorry if I made a mistake in English.
Thanks for the video. I really liked it. On the DS I loved Tinker Bell. The first one was really fun. You could craft your own patterns for gowns, collect material and it had a lot of fun mini games. The "plot" was to help the ministers get the season going. Still have this game and give it a try every few years.
love these types of videos they're so comforting! i thought i was a huge ben 10 fan ( played the games and had the toys ) , but i actually had no idea there was a card game for it until this video!! so weird tbh lol
great video thanks Jess! I love hearing your stories attached to various games. I thought I was happy with my DS collection but now I have more I must get, I don't even have any of the Mario vs Donkey Kong's nor Mario & Luigi's!
So happy to see the Winnie the pooh Keychain! I loved collecting them! Brings back so many memories, I played so many of these when I was younger. Thank you for the nostalgia
Thanks for sharing your gaming memories! To this day, I swear, Yoshi’s Island DS is the hardest game I’ve ever played. Track down Chrono Trigger DS - it’s a masterpiece.
I lost feeling in my left hand trying to complete some of the levels on Yoshi Island DS. I believe some of the difficulty has to do with the controls. I have a loose copy of Chrono Trigger, being able to play that classic on the fly is incredible.
New to the channel and dropped a sub. Been a huge retro gamer and having a few full sets I've recently started collecting Nintendo DS for fun games to play. Your dog is the just the cutest.
Awesome collection! I actually just started collecting games myself cause all I had for the longest time were the Pokémon games. I would recommend Dragon Quest though they’re hard to get cause price gouging. I also just added Civilization Revolution to my collection cause I loved playing it on the Xbox360. Hope the collecting goes well!
SOOOOOO TRUE for Mario Party DS. None of the other Mario Party games do it for me other than DS I still have that game to this day. It's so fun. It's also a shame no one talks about this game :/
My first handheld was also a blue DS Lite. I used to play Mario 64 and Mario kart DS every single day. I loved it, i wish that I still have it but unfortunately my niece snapped the top screen in half.
I played a lot on the DS lite as a kid like you. Interesting to see, that all the cases are black. In europe they are transparent. I recommend you to catch up "golden Sun" (expensive) and "final fantasy fables: chocobo Tales. It's an rpg/card collection game. Super sweet. I bought it for about 5€
There were (and still) a lot of movies and TV shows that get turned into video games from the early days to the present days like Batman, Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Simpsons, and more.
Omg you played the Ben 10 Games too!! Even if the Art Style seems weird, I recommend the Omniverse Game (both in Console and DS), it has a really cool story with Kid Ben and Teen Ben and over 13 Aliens 👀
I liked seeing your Professor Layton & Zelda games. I would reccomend Jake Hunter Detective Chronicles, all of the Etrian Odyssey games & any RPGs like Shin Megami Tensei or Dragon Quest series
Fun fact the counter parts of littlest pet shop spring and winter are not autumn and summer. Instead we got Littlest pet shop garden and littlest pet shop jungle.
i have a few of the madagascar , penquins games. those are so much fun. You should also add mario and sonic at the olympic games. One of my fave game that i love to play is wedding dash. I remembered playing it on my babysitter's ds and it was so much fun.
My DS collection has reached about 105 games, all CIB. It's my favorite hand held gaming console. I have no desire whatsoever to get a Switch. Still lovin' my DS Lite, NEW 3DS XL, GBA SP(AGS-101) & PSP.
The main line pokemon games on the ds are expensive. If you can find them cheap. Those are great to add to the collection. Heartgold and soulsilver are two great ones.
Great collection, Thanks for sharing 😀 Some DS recommendations for you. 1. The Legendary Starfy 2. Kirby Games (there's 4 in total, all really good) 3. Super Monkey Ball Touch & Roll 4. Donkey Kong - DK Jungle Climber 5. Ace Attorney Game Series 6. Castlevania Game Series 7. Metroid Prime Pinball 8. Peggle Dual Shot 9. Lego Games (Indiana Jones, Batman, Star Wars etc) 10. The Tale of Despereaux
I honestly enjoyed Super Princess Peach back in my days, and even when I replayed it again on my channel. I never cared about the so-called backlash the game received because of the thing of women and their emotions. I did love the role reversal from damsel-in-distress to royal heroine, and maybe one day Nintendo will make a sequel to it if they care enough to. Because the story with Parry was left unresolved.
It might sound odd what I am about to write but her soft voice along with that tranquil soundtrack playing in the background somehow make me drift off 😳😴😴
Absolutely love your collection. I always have a special feeling for handheld console. But it's a shame that handheld era is kinda gone because of the smartphone😥. Sony doesn't release new one anymore and NS is like a mix. The traditional handheld game console is dying😣
The DS Lite was my first handheld console too. I have the black one. :) I didn't know that North American games have black cases. The Europe ones are white.
i miss my ds lite, my dad grabbed it out of my hand while my brother and i were playing super mario and the top came off so he bought me the dsi to say sorry. never saw my ds lite again :(
Well you need to get the Pokémon games, not only the DS ones but the older consoles too. If it's hard for you to play the 1st generation on Game Boy you can start directly with the GBA ones even though i find the 2nd gen particularly beautiful.
Don’t get the DSi XL. I have it in “cereja” red and, although it works amazing, the big screens are horrible. The games look much more pixelated on the big screens.
DS collections are always so fun 😋

Good Reasons to buy Wii U and 3DS

I love having a brother close in age to me as well, we both got to play the ‘boys’ and ‘girls’ games!
This was so fun to watch. It’s so cool that you kept so many of your games!
OMG the Winnie The Pooh Peek A Pooh charm on your Dsi, I just got a bunch of them a few years back too, the nostalgia
I’m recovering from a concussion (snow boarding) and your videos have been extremely relaxing to listen to. Thanks so much lovely!
great video! the ds is underrated and there are so many cool games for it
I have a feeling that Littlest Pet Shop is so similar to Animal Crossing, Yoshi, and Kirby because all of them are just so charming and cute.
Love your collection. I have the DSi XL Red Bundle with Mario Kart. A birthday present from mom. Got loads of games as well. Miss those fun days. It's still a joy when I do get time to play.

This was such a relaxing and interesting video!😊 It was cool to see the differences between US and European releases😲👌🏻

Your dog is the just the cutest.
28:08 That's My Absolute Favorite Video Game! Did You Ever Unlock Worlds 4 & 7? A Friend Showed Me How Back In 2009!
I love the fact that you speak in English in your video and then you go like "vas-y, va te coucher". What a cute accent by the way
I love that you played the tv show games too! Lol 😂 I loved the Hannah Montana ones too.
You have a fantastic DS collection!
I have subscribed to your channel because I loved your ds and 3ds collection and you are awesome 😁👍

I have the same Blue DS Lite! Cool collection, Jess!
Crash of titan with the orange fox was really fun
Great video! Thanks for showing us your collection. What are your thoughts on Rune Factory 1? :)

I spoke French to her☺️
😊 Nice I thought I was the only person who remembered the Naruto card game😮 I still have all my cards and I also bought Shaman King cards as well😄

The DS Lite was my first handheld console too. I have the black one. :) I didn't know that North American games have black cases. The Europe ones are white.
monster tales which is like a Pokémon Metroid Vania game with awesome graphics and Giana sisters a great Mario copy, but you play as two sisters.
awesome!
You should do a Nintendo 64, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Color, and Super Nintendo collections in your future videos.
Do you have any other games like Sega Game Gear, Sega Genesis?
And now I have a Simpson mr burns charm on my pink Nintendo dsi
I love your videos
Your red Nintendo dsi is so cool I wish I had one but ik it's just like the same as mine in a different color i don't know I'm just saying
i miss my ds lite, my dad grabbed it out of my hand while my brother and i were playing super mario and the top came off so he bought me the dsi to say sorry. never saw my ds lite again :(
I really like the DS puzzle game HITOFUDE.
Mario 64 the best story xd, and now the husky at the start of the video now that 😏
I had to get myself a Nintendo DS that my family bought me when I first saw a Nintendo DS at Best Buy and played it for a while.
I miss my memories of playing on my DS because the one I had was backwards compatible with Gameboy Advance games which I always loved.
I’d always play that thing at home and on the go.
I have already found my DS'ochku 😄😄😄😄😄
And my pink Nintendo dsi still works but it's just peeled of from the side of the color but both screen is still in good condition

Other TV shows that were turned into Nintendo DS games were Drake & Josh, The Incredibles, SpongeBob, Madagascar, and Danny Phantom.
I’m a huge Nintendo fanboy and I have two Nintendo switch consoles and Nintendo dsi xl and Nintendo 3ds but I’m getting more 3ds games
Have you heard of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games before?
One time I download the legend of Zelda on my Play store on my pink Nintendo dsi
And one time I had a Ester bunny charm on my pink Nintendo dsi but I lost it
Diddy Kong racing also has a n64 version
I play most my ds games on an emulator, but I miss having the pen and pad to play with.
I see the Rick riordan books in the back ehehehhehehehe
My first ds was a dsi i was 9 years old im 19 now
Don’t get the DSi XL. I have it in “cereja” red and, although it works amazing, the big screens are horrible. The games look much more pixelated on the big screens.
