If anything it was the job at Daisies that was the connection that brought Nicole to OJ and that could have happened without having lived with Pinky (David)! She may have been killed sooner if OJ was obsessed with her beauty and she refused dating him!
It is sickening is hearing that if the Trial had been held elsewhere the outcome would have been different! The scales of justice are not so balanced for those with money and connections!

@@daviddavis3389You’ve never heard of a man (or woman) becoming obsessed before? She was a beautiful, young, naive woman. Oh, Nicole bought her own apt in LA just a month after meeting him? He bought her a new car. He was STILL married, and he was 30. Of course he became obsessed with her, and controlled her from the very beginning. By the way, she was a community college student and into photography when she met him. Her life was just beginning. He had his young, trophy girl & could mould & shape her into the woman he wanted her to be.
NICOLE IS the victim here. Don’t get it twisted. She grew up and got tired of his behavior and he couldn’t accept that…not the young, naive girl he had wooed just 17 years prior. She came to her senses, but it was too late. He wasn’t having it.

Betcha w the shoe on the other foot they wouldn’t be as kind as Nicolle’s family have been .i bet they’d be crying for justice .that family is so dysfunctional they sure can give it out ,but they wouldn’t be able to take it .All the providing in the world doesn’t in any way give you the right to take 2 lives ,amd then run your narcissistic mouth for 30 years about your innocence( which just adds insult to injury ) ,almost as if ,if he said it enough and long enough people would start to believe he’s innocent .he and Trump are alike w the gift of gab to convince how perfect they are .She lived in fear ,that’s good enough reason not to flaunt his good qualities .Like Trump ,if this was done to OJ he’d want justice .Those two Trump and oj NEVER do anything wrong ,they are gods gift to women and they have two sets of rules .One set that they follow and one for the rest of us who abide by the law .

💯 This was a much needed & beautifully done anecdotal piece on Nicole. Since the beginning in '94 when the media frenzy broke out, it was always centric to another person. So much so to now, everytime a new doc or series comes up that's supposed to be about Nicole, the production/direction always ends up shifting the focus to someone that receives far too much attention. This doc gave so much more color to Nicole as well as David; who has been mentioned but overshadowed by other sensational nonsense.

I so wish Nicole was here today, watching her kids grow, adjusting to grandmotherhood. She seemed like such a fun, funny person. 12 minutes in, David describes what we now call 'love bombing': OJ buying Nicole an apartment and car after dating her for one week. She was 18 year old--a kid--being drawn in by a narcissistic, manipulative abuser. It's incomprehensible that some people still blame her for her murder. 'Why did she get involved with him?' 'Why did she stay?' Questions that smear her memory and make it harder for domestic violence victims to share their stories and seek support and justice.

Thank you for this informative and endearing interview and story telling with Nicole's great friend. He should not always blame himself for her moving to Los Angeles with him, and finding work in LA/Beverly Hills rather than somewhere else, where she would have never crossed paths with OJ. In becoming an actor after leaving football, he most likely would have eventually got divorced from 1st wife Marguerite, and taken up with white women, most likely actresses. According to Kris Jenner, in her book from several years ago, OJ cheated on Nicole with actresses. His opinion about the criminal trial not being held in Santa Monica/Westside LA where there would have been a different outcome is shared by many of us.

It’s tragic but common. OJ met her at the worse age… she wanted him he wanted her and she was 100% dependent on him.
Why did she date a married man? The benefits outweighed the risks at the time. Also think of her background, Nicole’s family was wonderful and very close knit, but wasn’t her father married when her mother came into the picture? And yet it all worked out. That’s not an excuse but it’s an input into her life decisions.
And Nicole was pregnant at the time of her wedding. She chased OJ as much as he chased her. It’s tragic.
She did not deserve what happened to her though. I wish she could have made a clean break from him in 1993.
