Aren’t the reflectors and headlights setup for halogen? I’m interested but I’m not sure how well these perform over the LED with the different headlight assembly.
They are, yes.. 2nd rig I’ve run Lasfit LEDs in OEM halogen assemblies. Haven’t had any issues in the last few years, although I do plan to upgrade to an aftermarket headlight here in the near future. Mainly for the darkened background and LED strip lights. AlphaRex will probably be the winner for me.
Great video just bought a 2024 ram and purchased led low beams for now. I will match the fogs but had one question. Was the yellow on switchbacks better then the whites? I’m only asking because I hardly use high beams especially with leds. Now the fogs do light up when you turn without high beams on and wasn’t sure if it would change colors.
@@jluckayden the switchback fog lights were awful haha I had Lasfit send me straight white ones asap. They were never in sync since when high beams on and turning only one lights up at a time. 10/10 do not recommend haha
But mine has the factory projectors with the led boards in the maps and center dome, not just bulbs. Otherwise I could of done this a few years ago. I’m guessing the led boards can be changed in case anything breaks etc. their plugged in with wires.
Excellent video and demonstration. However i’m not sure why you have background music during your narration? Very difficult to hear your stand, while listening on headphones.
Hey, have a 2021 ram 2500 and been looking to swap into the LEDs. Looking at the Lasfit H11 bulbs as well. Did you need to use the Canbus decoder/ resistor? Or have you ran the led bulbs without them with no issues?
i have always wondered if you can replace the clearance lamps with led's? and what is the brightest lights you can get for the clearance lamps? thanks. love the video!
You talking the cab lights? Can’t replace the bulbs unfortunately. Can get them retrofit for white LEDs but there’s no plug and play solution other than getting a set of aftermarket white ones. I have the Recon cab lights now with a smoked lens. I think they look good!
@@JohnWargo93 thanks, I ask bc my old truck the led bulbs made it way brighter but the distance dropped by half. Had to install light bars to see. Didn't want it to be the same. Was the rear tail lights plug and play? What had to be done for those? And how much just bought a 2022 tradesman
@@richardjames840 I gotcha… no, this is my 3rd truck I put the LEDs in. They’re pretty nice, for real. My ram came with LED taillights so all I had to do was the front end. Everything on my Big Horn came factory LED on the rear. My Silverado however, I used all Lasfit LED in the rears. All were plug and play for it as well.
@@richardjames840 for the Ram, they make bulbs for both low and high beams. Then you’ll get bulbs for the turn signals too! All plug and play which is nice.
Kind of a funny question, but do you know how they are for other drivers on the road? I want to replace my 21 Ram's lights with LED's also, but I don't want to be "that guy" that's driving around and blinding everyone on the road all inconsiderate like.
Gotta be honest I’m not too sure.. can’t imagine they’re much brighter than guys with the factory LED option but I’m not positive. I’m at about 10k miles and no one ever flicks their lights at me or anything so I assume that’s a good thing 🤷🏻♀️
Cool upgrade. My truck has the factory LED lights and the daytime running lights have the wrap around border LED headlights too. Maybe not worth 2500 but hey, it looks pretty sick especially on camera
And go with Morrimotto XB led projector headlights. Don’t monkey around with just led headlight bulb upgrades. Not sure what model your truck is. I have a 17 1500 sport with the so called bullshit full as halogen led map lights and interior lights and they are complete shit! Dull as FK. I’m wondering if this company makes upgraded leds for my interior? Thanks
Such a difference! Hard to believe that this sort of thing isn't default on a 65K truck...

@ okay I’ll prob get the whites to match. Is it worth the high beams and blinkers tho?
@ I think it’s a better look overall swapping them all over to LED personally.
The interior brightness. Yes!
What yellow lights use using the same brand??

I see this was 2 years ago, how are these head lights holding up?
I swapped em for an aftermarket pair but still running Lasfit bulbs. Been running em on my trucks since 2018 and been very good for me!
Good to hear I just ordered the bulbs you had above for my Tradesmen! Thanks for the video!@@JohnWargo93
@@barrthom603 absolutely man thank you!
My switch back turn signals aren’t working properly which ones did you go with??
Hmmm… I’ll be honest I didn’t pick them out. Lasfit picked them out for me. Shoot them a message they’re awesome to work with!!
Did you have to use an OBD Genie to switch your fog light bulbs from halogen to LED?
Negative. Just plugged in the new bulbs. They did come with a small box on each, I assume a resistor of some sort.
Yes, they have the small resistor boxes
do you have ceramic tint on the windshield
@@yamaharider85cc negative. Just standard
@@JohnWargo93gotcha. I just got the same bulbs and now I can see behind 35% tint at night lol
In got the checkengine ligth on my 4th 2500 after installing lasfit led on headlights projector type
The new lights look good and that switch back would get old quick
Did you ever have any issues? By issue I mean did they ever damage anything?
Negative. 8th vehicle I’ve run Lasfit bulbs in with no issues. Have 4 in my driveway as I type! Been very impressed with their quality.
Dude, get diode dynamics SS3 super bright amber fogs like I’m running. Their bright as hell and awesome. Or their white versions
I'm glad I found this video because I was about to order the switchbacks. The color changing would irk me so bad.
are you happy with the ride of the 2500? im concerned it might be too stiff?
Rides like a HD straight axle truck for sure. Rides better with a trailer behind it.
@@JohnWargo93 thanks!
What size bulbs were your low beams and fogs?
After this long (little over a years time) I don’t remember. Plug your rig into their website it’ll tell you!
How do I get the passenger side High beam? I can’t get my arm in there, can reach it from under the truck
Gotta tear out the air intake!
@@JohnWargo93 figured it out and got it in there 🤣 thank you bro. Was trying to do it the lazy way at first

At this point just oem fog lights with Lasfit bulbs. Now I run Diode Dynamic DD3 fogs!

Where did you get your 3rd brake light having trouble finding one for a 5th gen
OEM… came with it off the assembly line with the cargo camera and whatnot.
You probably fixed this already but you can keep your fog lights on with your high beams with tuning

any errors from the truck ?

They’re the LAplus bulbs! No resistor pack needed, they were simply plug and play!!
